honsule:
I have a Toyota Corolla 2005 car. But I noticed the fuel consumption is not normal. Moreover, later I discovered that the indomie of the car has been removed.
I also learnt that the car has two indomie. Middle and front-near the engine. My question is this: does the indomie really conserve fuel consumption?
Last week Saturday, a friend took me to his mechanic, and eventually my exhaust was removed and stuffed with sth inside and the weider, did some weidering, although I observed reduction in fuel consumption, but am still not impressed because the engine side-front is still left untouched. Nothing was fixed there.

I drove a 2006 American spec Land Rover Disco (LR3) 4.0l V6 SE from Abuja to Umuahia.

My verdict: Japanese cars dey learn when it comes to AC, Harman Kardon Logic® audio system is epic with great sounds, very good front view despite its huge tall wide stance.

Driving impression: its total bullocks. Serious body leans as if its going to roll over. It never inspired any spirited or confidence in driving (Air suspensions works very well and wasn't faulty). Plus its a serioudly terrible fuel guzzler. More than 40,000 on fuel from Abuja to Umuahia. It even stalled close to Idah LGA and was displaying HDC fault and wouldn't start. I had to go buy fuel from another village in a 10L gallon, poured into its tank, then it started. Yet no check engine light before that time.

Great stuff . I'm not dissing you ohh or on a smear campaign as someone mentioned here . If for anything I'm actually promoting your page and you for one can see I ain't said anything out of place . .
When U heading says scanning you should have included fix..In the society where I live there is nothing like auto diagnostic stand alone . U diagnose amd you fix . If that's what you are doing then xclelent .
That assumption that I have things cheaper that nahhh lie ohhh .
On a serious note why do t yoy get the key coders they are now like £400 . And they are diagnostic too
In medicine as well as automobile repairs, when you go for detailed diagnosis/tests, you have solved 50% of the challenges.
The rest is solve-able (sic) when you have ALL the necessary tools to cure the problem.
I can't take my tool boxes from Abuja to Calabar or Uyo cos its heavy, its inconvenient for me and besides, I don't know the spareparts markets here.
The owners of these cars can go fix their cars based on the direction of what I tell them.

Notwithstanding...
Please, if you do not have any sensible thing to comment, stay off my thread. Besides, there's no need coming to my thread and showing your senselessness. Run along
Crime › Nairalanders Appaling Senselessness On The Rise. by kingreign(op): 9:04am On Mar 28, 2017
Its with great pains, anger and sorrow I write this piece.
Normally, I am most concerned with autos and car talk sections, but once a while, I stray into other sections to keep myself abreast of happenings.
I've noticed a very disturbing trend in Nairalanders comments regarding sensitive issues bothering on crimes, political issues, religious issues and corruption. This trend, if not tackled early, will lead to more harm than good.
Just going through the comments in this thread which is currently on the homepage (as at the time of writing this piece) https://www.nairaland.com/3706816/6-students-unilag-gang-rape shows the level of decadence in our youths. They ignored the topic of discussion which is a grievous crime and start other senseless wayward comments, tribalism, religious sentiments, and lewed abominable sexual comments.
This trend needs to be checked before it gets out of hand. The administrators and moderators of nairaland needs to step up the fight against these vices, parents, guardians, educational and religious institutes needs to wake up from their slumber. Mature minded Nairalanders needs to speak up against these evil trends bedeviling our youths.
Thanks.

I will repeat, Scanners do not fix car people do.But it would be nice if car owners know a wee bit about the car they drive so no one can take them for a ride.
You copied links where toys are being advertised and you're comparing them with my service.
You well so?

For your info I'm bringing a genuine licences Delphi DS150e plus adapters and an autel MD801 for the purpose of my programme in Calabar and Uyo.

Go figure the price of a genuine licenced Delphi, its user level and capability so you can stop ranting like a rabied dog. undecided

Mr Erico2k2,
I've respected you and your online personality but it seem you have a beef against me. You, Mr Erico2k2 knows the difference between a professional auto technician/ dealership level based scanner and a DIY enthusiast or every day simple code reader. You, Mr Erico2k2 had been privileged to enjoy some of the finest things of life for less, yet you are against me assisting people for less when they clearly have no means to getting such tools within their vicinities or have been dealt rootlessly by quacks.
Does Mr Afangsoup not have a scanner?
He does.
Why did he still patronize my service?
Go ask him.

Your highness, Im inclined to agree with you. However permit me to insist that these circumspective measures can be achieved more with understanding, discretion and discernment. Buyer is at liberty to Inquire further in private. None of us here would dispute the fact that even stolen or illegit Cars could be brazenly advertised and SOLD online or offline. So our discretion is needed anyway.

I no talk say make we no advertise car with the plate number oh, but wen e happen like dat make we try make extra effort verify if we like am. E no mean say dem tiff am or the owner na yam eater.

Are u Seriously suggesting thathuh Will the license plates be covered upon inspection of the vehicle?

U should advocate for diligence during pre- purchase inspection of a vehicle. If you read and understood the posters narrative he became apprehensive when answers to pertinent questions either werent supplied or done so satisfactorily. He didn't say that his suspicion was roused by the license plates.

We should advocate for;

1)Pre-purchase Inspection (better even b4 negotiations)

2) Diligence and discretion during the inspection process.

3) Add yours...

NB: this is a public forum and it's humanly impossible to decipher the intentions of everyone who visits the forum. Anyone, could be viewing an advert with sinister intention. So it would not be reasonable in my opinion to publish identities of individuals (their license plates in this instance) without their consent so that their safety and that of family members isn't jeopardized.
I believe if dealers don't have shady deals a number plate should be exposed to identify the car. Since number plate verification is possible online.
Besides, this helps would be buyers identify the car, do a pre-insection check in VIO/FRSC offices to get more info on the vehicle to prevent against unintentionally buying stolen vehicles.

When ever I wish to buy a car, I check these and also check the car physically and insists on seeing the direct owner one on one to make some inquiries before paying any cash.
