Ensure your air intake is not leaking, clean throttle body, if it still persists, replace throttle body.

Tanx man! 👍Car was checked out, the 100Amp fuse was blown. Electrician had to do their normal temporary wire bypass, the car started. Will revert to the main fuse ASAP. Me no like wire wire fuse Maka village people 🤣🤣

The bottom of the car has rusted, several holes are visible, and you can only lift the car to change the tyre from the tyre frame itself.

I have also been recently told that the back beam has a crack as well.

Engr Kingreign, I don come again o. I helped out a neighbor to start his car with my battery. No jumper cable around, we had to do it normal transfer. I was carried away when putting it back to my compartment. This act signalled parking light with a buzzing sound. When I noticed, I rearranged the terminals how it should be. Now engine is not cranking, no light in the instrument cluster, nothing is working except the horn. What could have happened? Honda DC.

Have a competent electrician check the fuses and relays in ALL fuse boxes and the wirings.
Hope our ECU never damage?

This fuel consumption is too high

Have your mechanic replace your AF sensor and test your EGR valve, if it’s not working, it too should be replaced. With that done, your car should be fine.

I have this same corolla for my wife.

My advice is: Check/gauge the gear oil and see if it's short of the recommended mark on the dip stick. (Put the car in Reverse, and hold the break while the mechanic is checking/gauging it)

If it is short, buy exactly the gear oil written on the stick (you will see something like WS).

Please don't drain and refill. Just top up with the recommended gear oil.

OP , please ignore this very terrible advise. Your transmission fluid is meant to be changed every 30,000 miles or 2 years together with its transmission filter. Use Genuine Toyota Transmission Fluid Type WS only.

Hello Guys my AC system stopped working cos of black death, I changed the entire AC system but I noticed the car is not cooling as it use to and the first AC vent located at the far left driver side blows warmer then the ones in the middle overall performance of the AC is mid compared to before ...what can I do? I am tired cos I have replaced every single part already. 2008 accord with 2.0 R20 engine.....HELP PLEASE!!!

I’m not an AC technician and I don’t dabble into what I am not knowledgeable about. Pls, have it checked by a competent technician.

The problem I have is getting a mechanic who have a good fuel pressure gauge. The one I was able to get did not have correct adopters for my car. The readings were not stable due to fuel losses along the fuel line. We tried through the engine bay and inside the car (the fuel line ontop of the fuel tank). I even changed the entire assembly (fuel pump) tokombo but got same result. I stay in Port-Harcourt.

Tools don’t come cheap, a lot of times, most highly equipped shops and garages import these tools and equipment from abroad and you’d not expect them to charge you little when they’re using their expensive tools on your vehicle(s).

Ask your mechanic to go over his work again.
It would be difficult to diagnose remotely since the issue started after you changed the arm. It's possible they've knacked the hell out of your outer thyroid while removing the arm and the shock wave affected your rack.

It is tokunbo. No flood history or flood prone previous location on VIN check, 70k mileage and sold after collision with relatively minimum impact to right fender and bumper.

Was shipped in May 2021 and unregistered till I bought it. That's over 1year dealer might have been driving it, although I doubt it saw too much action on Nigerian roads. Thank you.

That said, get a competent electrician and using a sand paper, he should clean all earth contacts in engine fuse and in cabin fuse box, turn off the car, lock the door and allow for about 30mins of rest, then using a tester, check ALL fuses and relays in all locations of the car for power drainage. He should know how to go about this.

I bought a 2013 RAV4 in November 2022 that seems to have come with a few spiritual problems.

The seller assured me that it was non-accidented. Unfortunately, network was slow so I couldn't run a VIN check at that moment and I had inspected and test-driven the car, it seemed like a sweet deal so I paid.

The only issue observed was Hazard Light wasn't working although the "trafficators" were fine. Seemed negligible.

After taking full ownership, to rectify the Hazard Light issue, the hazard and clock switch was changed. That didn't work. BCM was changed. That too didn't work. Finally, the Instrument Cluster was changed alongside the hazard. (New instrument cluster wasn't reading MPG. Currently on last drive, wasn't reading speedometer, so I think they brought a slightly incompatible one and needs replacement)

Next observation was the battery draining after about 2 - 3 days of not starting the car. Multiple people have tried to trace the parasitic draw. Relays have been changed. BCM was changed and that increased staying power to 4 - 5 days. Different new batteries have been tried, all drained, while the battery that came with the car didn't drain in other cars.

Of course, I found out that the car was accidented. Passenger side fender and windscreen impacted. Nothing critical, but airbags deployed. I believe the steering wheel and dash airbag was successfully replaced.

I have researched a lot on this and feel some possible causes of the drain are:
- airbag/crash history
- faulty central lock
- faulty boot lock (common in similar cases)
- alternator diode

Please can our in-house seniors lend some thought towards a permanent diagnosis and fix? I am yet to register the car just in case there is a fight to be had with the seller. Car is in Ejigbo. Thanks.

You did not mention if it’s a tokunbo or a Nigerian used vehicle, if it’s been used to swim lekki floods or American floods.

The car radiator fan has nothing to do with close loop rather it will consum more fuel for running constantly

The thermostat is what helps the engine reach close loop quickly by restricting coolant flow , the temperature sensor signal ECU when engine reach it operating temperature to operate the injectors in close loop with the help of the o2 sensor , even when the fan is running constantly

I purchased a 2005 V6 3.3L Highlander about three weeks ago. I stay around Mowe, Ogun State. My car recently become unstable in motion, it swerves and sometimes it feels like the steering is not total control of the wheels. This could happen regardless of the speed, road condition or driving condition. It could happen when the brakes are applied, or when driving on uneven road. Kindly note that prior to this development, the car has a bad rear absorbers and a weak steering pump which I was planning to replace.

Secondly, I would like a recommendation for a trustworthy and reliable professional who can help diagnose and fix the error-lights on the car's dashboard. Please see screenshot 1 below.

Thirdly, I started noticing that the ABS module is leaking, and the brake fluid is going down. Please see screenshot 2 below.

Fourthly, I also noticed some black oil stains around the timing belt cover. Please see screenshot 3 below.

Your car needs physical inspection and proper diagnosis to correct the anomalies.

When ever is start my 2010 Toyota Camry 2.5l when cold in the morning and also when driven and parked for 6-7 hrs, and I start the engine it will start and off immediately, sometimes it will start jeck for 3-4secs and normalize. No code was seen when scanned. MAF sensor, fuel injectors and throttle body all cleaned, changed engine air filter, changed fuel pressure regulator and spark plugs changed yet the problem persists. I stay in PHC. Any help on this.

Looks like fuel pressure regulator valve issue. I am only assuming but can’t conclude as I have not checked the car yet or a proper diagnosis has not been carried out.
