Please Boss I'm presently experiencing same issues of draining battery on a newly acquired car.

I suspect the battery is weak and doesn't hold charge due to long parking of the car before i bought it, but i can't tell from just looking at it. Can you please give me tips on how to know if the battery is weak because I'm already planning on buying a new one today.

I drive an 05 Camry.
Recently, I started hearing a humming sound while in motion, that gets louder as I pick up pace.
I thought my hub bearings were bad and changed the hub on both sides but the sound still persists.
Nobody has been able to tell me exactly what the problem is.
Any thoughts?

What do you/your technician do that caused this to happen?
Have a competent technician physically check the car. I can’t advise you to do anything unless it’s checked by a good technician.

Please I need an advise. I want to pour out the gear oil of my Rx350 2011 model and pour in another. I have bought the original WS for the vehicle, but the gear mechanic said he will have to loose the base of the gearbox. Videos i see on YouTube only shows the bolt and the red inner plastic removed and the oil allowed to drain before it's replaced from the tire side. Please, I don't want to make a mistake. All this people fit put holes for man pocket. Please advise me.

Does he intend replacing the trans filter?
If yes, fine, if no, avoid that kazeem.

Honda Ridgeline is a cool SUV.
Seriously, as a site Engineer, you will be fine with vehicle that has bucket.
Last June, I advised a friend who was in your shoes to get a Ridgeline. He never regretted it. He got it at N3,2m with Booth cover and side steps. It was registered but very clean.

A Ridgeline, though cool looking, isn’t a proper off-road truck and may have some difficulties doing what proper body on frame trucks easily do.

After using my Pajero for close to 10yrs (1995/96 model) I can confidently beat my chest and tell u there's no desert it can't cross.
That car was specially built for off road adventures and boy I did have alot of off road experiences with that baby.
As far as I'm concerned the Pajero can go anywhere the Prado can and can't go

Mitsubishi, especially the Pajero brand is one of the most rugged, durable, tough SUV i have ever driven. [s]As a matter of fact I think the Pajero is even a better SUV than a Toyota Prado[/s].

Wrong thinking, Pls rethink again.
There’s a reason why the toyota Prado is very popular in Middle East, Africa, Australia, Eastern Europe etc compared to the Pajero.

Just a vehicle with the following:
1. That would boost my image before client's. Car wey my Client go see, e go no say I no de beg for food.

2. A start and go vehicle that is rugged and won't give me issues

3. Budget less than 8Million

4. A car for everyday movement. I am always on the move within city (no much traveling), so a fuel efficient /economic vehicle is ok.

Preferably a 4 cylinder or V6 at most. No V8

Good afternoon my good people pls I'm having issue with my Honda Civic 06 after driving for like 1hour yesterday I parked the car and after like 30mins so I got to the car and it refused to start my rewire did everything ( changed the spark plugs,check the fuel pump,check the entire fuel line and said all is fine and that it should start we ran a scan and we got P2185 he suggested we get the sensor and also the shocking sensor which I did today and still the car doesn't start.. pls has anyone gone through this kind of issue on the same car or what do you think could be the issue. Pls help..

If the battery is weak it will discharge overtime. If the alternator is trickle charging, when you stop driving, overtime, the battery charge will deplete. If there are any breaches or leak of power supply, it can deplete battery charge too.
So, have a competent electrician check the cause of the battery drain.

Buy another gearbox and rest.

In my toyota camry 2004, once I put on the ac the rpm drops and it makes the engine shales but once I put off the AC the engine stabilises, u was advised to install a vacuum

Scan for codes, but I suspect it’s the throttle body.
Check the throttle body if it’s cable operated and the IACV is stuck, if it’s ETCS-I throttle body, still clean it.

Good morning engineers in the house, please my corolla altis does this thing where it suddenly reduces speed when I try to accelerate (as if something is holding the car back), the rpm meter drops and there is a tsk tsk sound. To overcome this, I have to press the accelerator gradually till I get to 100km/hr.
I've changed the oil, oil filter and plugs and the transmission fluid is above the gauge level but the problem persists.

Scan that car and have a competent technician have it diagnosed properly.

I intend to take my new 2012 accord to a rewire to fix a security to it, the one that turns off the engine after 5 minutes when the security is not pressed. I had such in my old 2003 Camry and it worked fine.

kindly advice if this is okay with no consequence for this type of accord, please.

Get a proper tracking device and a comprehensive insurance rather than those cut and join wirings.
But alas! It’s your car and decision which is left for you to ultimately decide upon.

If your car is a millennial model car, it’s most likely fitted with one-way valve (anti-siphoning valve) at the fuel filler pipe leading to the tank and you can not draw out fuel from that car.

I suggest you ask a competent technician who knows those cars to check the car. From my experience, an engine block that is broken won’t run. The only remedy is to replace the engine.
