If the above advice doesn't work, then carry out this simple test.

Park it under the sun again so as to make the speedometer to go blank. Then on a free road, accelerate until your RPM goes past 3 (3000), if the gear jerks and changes to gear 2 and then starts selecting perfectly, know that the culprit is the gear speed sensor Or the wiring is cut/not firm.

It sits on top the gear body towards the Driver.

Have your technician change it and all will be well with your car. Have had a personal experience with sane vehicle.

My gearbox was worked on..The fibers were changed ,and after that I observed that it takes time to select and accelerates after traveling for some hours. I am confused as to what could be wrong.

In addition, someone suggested replacing the gear from 13 pins to a 10 pins . What is your take on that? What is your experience with such conversion and the implications.

My Honda Civic 2005 jerks when it's shifting gears and just yesterday I heard whinning sound while I was driving and the gear refused to shift.
However, when the car attained operating temperature it shifted noiselessly and smoothly.

I also noticed that there is a crack on my gear case at the point where the gear is mounted and is leaking oil from there (the top)

Please can someone advice me on what the issue is and what to do?

Gauge your transmission fluid, if it’s low,
get the broken part fixed or replaced, then top up with DW-1 ATF till appropriate level.

Good morning sirs, my 2017 Honda Accord V6 engine stalls whenever I press the brake coming to almost a complete stop, it mostly happens when I'm on low speeds like 10-30km/h, scan only brings p2272 code. Mechanic cleaned the injector saying it was the issue but nothing has changed.

P2272 code refers to O2 sensor bank 2 sensor 2 lean. I suggest you have a competent technician diagnose the car properly to find the cause of low speed stalling.

Changing the ceramic resonator did work, if you find a proper electrician to fix it. Else, just buy a new Guage cluster.

Please my Toyota Camry 1997/1998 is giving me headache. If I park the car in an open space where there's direct sunlight or if I drive it for let's say close to an hour, the mileage digits will clear off, disappear and the gear will no longer select until I drive to where there's shade and park for an hour before the mileage digits comes up again. If not, i will just be firing gear one all along.

What's the solution please?

Stop driving it under direct sunlight.
Have that car checked by a competent electrician. I can not tell what the solution is pls.

Yes, there are plans for inland freshwater to be pumped, and it is not a new thing; but when analyzing what the APC presidential candidate said, is akin to him pumping channeling water from the Atlantic because he infers that (his regime if elected into power) will carry out the recharging all alone and that’s probably the most suitable large body of water to use if he is not engaging the neighbouring countries to partner with.

The project in itself is not a bad project. Lake Chad region is home to over 30m people and it’s a source of livelihood to Nigerians, Chadians, Nigerians and Cameroonians. It’s also a source of income to the countries hosting the Lake Chad basins. It’s of huge international benefit as it covers 8% of Africa approximately.

Another option is to start planting vegetative covers and trees to minimize evaporation and aid cooling of the environment around the region. But it’s long term and the recovery process will be slow.

It’s gonna be a very expensive venture trying to recharge the Lake Chad. First, pipes will be laid from Atlantic to Lake Chad with powerful pumps to push the water up north into the basin. Desalination machines and tools will need to be put in place also to rid the inbound water of sea salt as Lake chad is a freshwater lake. These are no small feat, they do not come cheap and are not something that can be done in less than a year. Such project takes time and are usually divided into phases.

But in the afternoon when it's sunny and weather is hot, the AC does not blow cold air at all. Its working but not blowing cold air, just hot air.

You either have a blockage in your AC system, or your expansion valve is not doing its work.

Okay, did you recently changed the transmission fluid of this car or has it been changed before?

First advice I give is scan car for codes, if any present then post it here. If none is present, change transmission fluid (use genuine Honda DW-1) and observe it’s behavior.

Hello @Dozieson, Thank u for the advice. I got in touch with a seller hia on Nairaland. He offered to get the 13pin gear for 280k though based in Lagos. He also suggested his Mechanic cm to Kaduna wia am located to fix it. Turns out his Mechanic was not too cool with the idea. I eventually got the 13 pin gear hia in Kaduna for 340k and fixed for around
40k (gear oil inclusive). Everything runs smoothly like it was never changed. Even the error lights on my dashboard magically disappeared. Where I fixed my gear, I noticed some one came with a similar issue like mine and wanted to opt for the 10pin gear. Omoh that car no get head again oh. So thank u so much for the advice. It has quite difficult raisin the cash but now am resting
