Oluwatobi Owomoyela, popularly known as Peteru, a Nigerian comedian based in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, is dead.

The cause of his death is yet to be made public.

He was said to have buried his father in November and was reportedly the only son of a family of seven. His colleagues have taken to social media to mourn his untimely demise.

One of them, Adams Adebayo wrote, “I am bereaved to read the news of your demise my brother, You are one of the entertainer (sic) that is trying his best to put Ibadan on global map.

“Your role in comedy and entertainment industry is recognized but it’s sad to read you have went (sic) to rest with your maker.

“I pray that Almighty God be with your family and grant them fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May the good Lord rest your soul and grant you peaceful rest Champ.”

Actor Muyiwa Ademola also mourned the deceased.

“This is a very hard pill to swallow! How could this jolly good fellow just depart this world in this manner?

“Hmmm… it is well. Please be kind to one another as we don’t even know what we are individually passing through! I learnt Peteru died of cancer.

“You were battling such burden yet I never saw you without a smile! It is well. It is well. It is well. Journey well great guy. I am out of words tonight,” he posted on Instagram.

This comes a few days after another Ibadan-based comedian, Coesowflex King Moore, popularly called Mimic King, was shot dead during a robbery incident.

Check your VTC and rocker arm solenoid area. It’s behind the engine by the passenger’s side. If the seals around those places are compromised, you’d get oil leaks.

Carry out a smoke test on the EVAP system, and as for the purge control, it’s in the engine bay, test it by running a 12V if it leaks, then check, if your evap vacuum lines have been incorrectly installed and correctly do it.

Kindly recommend oil to use that won’t dry out or another solution if there is

I need a cheaper solution even if its another brand as long as its okay for my tranny.

Someone suggested the mobil atf dexron 2. I don't want to take chances and I have decided to seek for advise. I need a good, original alternative product. I can go as much as 3,500/4000 per litre. I am replacing all the 8litres of the gearbox.

Hello guys,

I need help with my Nissan xtrail 2005 model. When ever I try to start the engine it starts and immediately the engine goes off; I have to start it again and press the accelerator to rev it before it can work, immediately that is done the SLIP VDC OFF light comes on. It makes it very difficult for me to use as it occurs often whenever I switch off the engine. I have changed the plugs, the cold start, and other things but the issue still persists.

I guess it's a 4 wheel drive. Your axle/propeller has issue. Let your mechanic bring down your propeller and see if it still happens. I maybe wrong anyway.

I kuku shock as I know say that thing na propeller or axle issue but since he say na 2wheel drive, I no know what to say again.

The Rewire said from the way it was sounding it felt like the kickstarter is trying to force the engine but the engine isn’t responding, They tried to manually roll the engine and even used spanner and hammer, it still did not roll.

It was concluded that it might be a crankshaft.


I’m really confused at this point

Put car in Neutral and try to roll engine with a wrench/spanner, if it rolls fine, if it still doesn’t roll, remove belt and starter motor, roll again, and if it still doesn’t roll, Otilo!

I once had an issue with my car not being able to start but the lights were coming on. I got a roadside mechanic and he tried checking the fuse, kick, and it all, he said they were all fine. He had to run a wire from the kick to the battery so I was able to move pending when I get a rewire.

My mechanic took it and got it fixed up but not up to a month again, I wanted to start the car day before yesterday and noticed a 2 seconds delay. I decided to put it off and on again with another 2-3 seconds delay. Tried putting it on again, but it wasn't able to come on. the lights were just on.

I ran a wire like before from the kick to the battery to start it.

Any idea of what can be done or what is causing this issue?

My mechanic noted the rewire will check to see what is making the fuse fail when I bring it

Hire an electrician to check it for you.
