If a lady tell you no sex until marriage she should not expect any thing from you until marriage too.

FashionBrief History Behind The White Wedding Dress by KingWarri(op): 1:33am On Oct 20, 2019
A wedding dress or bridal gown is the clothing worn by a bride during a wedding ceremony. Color, style and ceremonial importance of the gown can depend on the religion and culture of the wedding participants.

For most of history, brides rarely purchased a dress specifically for their wedding day. The bride would typically wear her finest dress to the ceremony, even if it was a dark color. In fact, many brides wore black during this time. Only a few colors were avoided, such as green, which was then considered unlucky. Blue was a popular choice as it represented purity, piety and a connection to the Virgin Mary, plus the dark color easily hid stains and imperfections and could be worn again.

Brides dressed in the height of current fashion, with the richest materials their families' money could buy. The poorest of brides wore their best church dress on their wedding day.

Though examples of brides wearing white can be traced back as early as 1406. The first documented instance of a princess who wore a white wedding dress for a royal wedding ceremony is that of Philippa of England, who wore a tunic with a cloak in white silk bordered with squirrel and ermine in 1406, when she married Eric of Pomerania. Mary, Queen of Scots, wore a white wedding dress in 1559 when she married her first husband, Francis, the Dauphin of France, because it was her favorite color, although white was then the color of mourning for French Queens. This was not yet a widespread trend.

The 1840 marriage of England’s Queen Victoria to her cousin Prince Albert is considered the seminal white-wearing occasion. Dripping with orange blossoms, her stunning white dress inspired thousands of common folk to follow suit.

Almost a decade after the wedding, Godey’s Lady’s Book, one of the first women’s magazines in America, declared that white was the most fitting hue for a bride.

Later, many people assumed that the color white was intended to symbolize virginity, though this was not the original intention.

Car TalkRe: David Baka Designs Logo For Innoson Vehicles, Nigerians React by KingWarri: 3:14pm On Oct 18, 2019
ojasweb:
Based on the analysis of the concept behind the first logo, the designer claimed that the logo combines the company's IVM to make a symbolic eagle shape.

where the beak stands for strong and ruggedness. and
The eyes stand for clear vision into the future.

I don't have the full analysis in my head but i hope to share it here.

Logo goes beyond just combining initials. The first design communicate their brand better.
Exactly my thoughts..... If you even look at the end 1st one very well it looks more like the face of a wolf.....

okeyumez:
I prefer the second design. It shows IVM in a symbolic way
The first design is good but it looks like a secret cult logo
I don't think so... Look at it carefully (the 1st) it looks more like a wolf face.... And the meaning is not in the surface....

FamilyRe: After Marriage, How Long Should People Wait To Have Kids by KingWarri: 5:50pm On Oct 10, 2019
donstan18:
I don't know for women, but I strongly believe that children are one of the major reasons why most men settle down.

Reason the day a man becomes a father is more memorable than his wedding day.

So I think it's proper not to wait for anything before making babies, especially these days where 70% of slay queens are womb-less. Start immediately to help you know if you married a fertile woman or not.

In fact, any lady that fails to take in at most, 2 months after wedding should be questioned or sent packing.
As if women are the only ones with fertility issues... What if the man is potenthuh

When people say Nigeria musicians are not known in America, I don't see it as a big deal cuz even most of these world foreign famous footballer are also not known in AMERICA. I have seen a video on yahoo news where three famous footballers were bounced out by security men of a club and they were making mouth saying "do you know who I am" and to be sincere with you no one knew them until the news came out the following day and the press made it know that they were public figure. You all should stop acting as if nowadays Nigerians musicians are the only one singing rubbish and nonsense, even the so called western world. Most of their nowadays musicians sing rubbish except for the old ones who are still relevant in the industry and some few new ones that are talented. I am a lover of rap, I also used to say that the foreign musicians were doing better than us until I got fed up with their music cuz all I was hearing was Bleep, money, booty, boobs, party, and all sorts of derogatory words. Only few among them have classical music just same way it is right here.
Don't mind them.... They Always think they are superior when they listen to foreign music

Nairaland GeneralRe: 10 Slangs Only Nigerians Can Understand (hilarious) by KingWarri: 5:38pm On Oct 03, 2019
10000followers:
These slangs would be hard to explain to a non-Nigerian.

Every country has unique traditions as well as slangs, which are spoken throughout the country. In Nigeria, there are slangs unique to secondary schools, university life, and even regions of the country. Foreigners might have a hard time understanding these slangs and locals might have a hard time explaining them. Here are a few of the slangs unique to Nigeria street life.

1. Ehen!

This exclamation has different interpretations, depending on the context in which it was used. It could mean "I get it", "and so?" "yes", "okay", "continue", "as i was saying", "that reminds me", etc.

.
2. Jara

Jara is a noun derived from the Yoruba language and it means to add extra or give a freebie after something has already been bought or paid for, at the seller's discretion. E.g. "Please add jara".

3. Osha pra pra

This salutation is used when one is praising another, which is loosely translated to mean "you are dope!". It is mostly used in the street to hail/greet a friend or acquaintance who is passing by.

4. Ajebutter

Ajebutter, ajebo, 'bota' or 'botti', simply refers to one who is born with a silver spoon. It can be loosely translated to mean "bourgeoisie". E.g. "That babe is an ajebutter".

5. Lepa/Orobo

Lepa is a noun that refers to a sexy slim woman. E.g. "That lepa babe is hot". Orobo is loosely the opposite of lepa. It refers to a sexy plump/ thick woman. It can also be used as a derogatory remark.

6. Ashewo

This noun is a slang for sex workers. It can also be a derogatory term.

7. Amebo

This word is used to refer to a person who likes to gossip or spread gossip and cannot be trusted. It can also be used to refer to gossip itself. E.g. "You too like amebo" or "That girl is an amebo".

8. Abi/shey/ba

Abi, shey or ba are slang that act sort of like punctuation. They are mostly used for confirmation after a statement, thereby turning it into a question. They are like the English "right?" E.g. "You are coming for my party, abi/shey/ba?"

9. Over-sabi

This is a noun referring to someone who is a busy-body, or mocking someone who over-performs his/her intelligence/knowledge. E.g. "I did not ask you, over-sabi."

10. Kolo

This verb means to go crazy or mad. This can mean literally or metaphorically depending on the context. E.g. "He don kolo".
