Hai justwise,I got my rejection letter today as they mentioned "you previously entered in uk on 23 sept 2010 and your visa was valid till 2013 jan 28.but you lost your college licence on September 18,2011 and home office curtailed my visa on 13 may 2012.but you left on 14 November 2012 and it can consider as overstay.But they didn't banned me.can I apply again ??i didn't get any letter from ukba about my curtailment letter.so can I go for administrative review??thank you so much justwise.

elyasnawabi: Really? So when did you know that you will have to sit an interview, I mean after how many working days?
In my case I don't even know what is happening

after 27 working days they informed me you need to attend an interview .where do you applied ??

Even though I am not a Nigerian but have always read and liked this forum, and has helped me a ton.
I am actually from Afghanistan and have submitted my UK visa application in India anyways it has been 21 working days of my application and havent heard anything. The online status is the same from the very first day when I track online that your application has been forwarded to BHC. And I also went to VFS two times but it wasnt there. I have tried calling the BHC and they tell me to send an email to the enquiry email service but it takes them forever to reply, I am totally lost and dont know what to do as my school starts tomorrow. If I dont have an answer during next couple of days I will have to withdraw it otherwise I will lose my job in my home country for being away too long.
Any ideas?

dude don't worry...I am from India and I applied in chennai.it took 27 working days in my case and that was a call for interview .my interview is on 25 th .my class starts at 27.so what I did was informed uni about interview .u can do the same thing.dont worry

justwise: They call people for an interview whether they have been to the UK before or not, its the rule now to interview applicants, so calling you for an interview got nothing to do with your previous visit to the UK.

will they inform the decision straight away or do I need to wait for courier ?

justwise: It got nothing to do with one previous trip to the UK, this is Sept, its rush period and application takes 20 working days or more even

. But I been in uk as a student and college lost its licence.so it is quite natural for them to call for an interview

i am going to attend an interview on 25 th of this month.so what I did was I wrote all the possible questions and answers in the paper.so now I know what they are going to ask and how I have to answer .

i been in uk previously so may be thats y they called me for interview .i back to my country when we lost the college licence but home office never send any kind of letter.i think they want some clarification about this.

have you ever been in uk?if you are,they will take ages because mine take 26 working days after that they called for interview after 14 days.One of my friend they took 60 working days but not called for interview .So don't worry.i am waiting for my interview .

anonymous26: No, you're ok they probably just need to clarify something, For them to have called you, low chance of rejection if you answer well. If they wanted to reject they wouldn't even bother to call.

Birmingham is a place with full of immigrants.you may get a part time job in shops.

In London it is hard to find a part time job.but if you move to Wales especially bridgend,Cardiff and Swansea you can find lot of opportunities .

I been in uk for 3 years.after you getting visa make sure your documents are correct .otherwise from the emigration they are going to screw us and lot of stupid questions.make sure we paid our tuition fee and not there for an asylum seeker.be bold and reply.once you are down there is no doubt they will take you another room and will ask lot of bla bla bla.i highly recommend you don't withdraw your money from bank until you reached in uk.happy days all of you.

Hai I am Kiran from India .I submitted my application on August 6 and its still on processing.i been previously in uk as a student but my college licence lost.so I back to my country 3 months before my visa expired .so is there any problem for my new application .this time I applied in university of South Wales .
