I have finally registered for my pp renewal which expired today. The process is simple and easy. So far you can read and understand. Quess what I used my Android phone to complete the task.

For payment, I went for Paystack, then my Zenith Card. And it was successful. After that, I clicked on the "Download application and payment receipt" below. The files open respectively then I sent it to my "pdf adobe acrobat app".

Lastly, I went for book appointment. Unfortunately, no date in October again except November. So I chose my date and click on print appointment slip button. It opened, since it's my phone, no printer; i had to send it to my "pdf adobe acrobat app" to save and print later in any of the business centres. Also, a copy of the appointment slip was sent to the email I provided during my registration.

I remember i got the information I needed for my pp renewal here, I have come again to tell us that I have collected it now.

February 02, was my collection date but when I track it, it was not ready yet. So that day I didn't go. I had to wait until Monday 12th after tracking and it's the same, I had to visit their office only for me to be told that my pp is ready.
One observation when I received it, I saw that the issue date is NOV 14..

Please I just track my application, only for me to see enrollment page to the last page saying pending. Meanwhile after my capturing on Nov 8, it was all ticked except for the last page.

For the first time, I'll actually confirmed that something a sitting minister in Nigeria announced is working

My passport is ready today and I captured on the 27th of October, Friday. Less than 3 weeks and exactly 13 working days since I captured.

To say I was surprised is the least of it. I was just wondering what happened, I didn't pay for any fast track, although I was asked if I wanted to fast track it but because I need it early next year, I said no.

Now it's out.. now I believe Nigeria can really work if we want it to.

was given an appointment of 27th October, Friday.
Got a message that it's ready today, 15th, November. Everything took less than 2 months

My experience @Alausa Passport office Today 8th of November, 2023.

12:pm Appointment, I got there 11:45pm. I walked straight inside the building facing the entrance gate.

The fair lady I met when I entered the building, after checking my documents, ask me to buy brown file and rope at the gate. Got it for ₦500. Then she referred me to room 12 where another check was done and stamp. I went back to the lady and she ask me to seat where they will call me for capturing.

Not quite long, another woman came out and ask for my file and I submitted to her, the next thing I was called in and the capturing was done. A slip was printed and given to me. Collection date February 2024.

Few minutes after I left the place, I decided to track my application by entering my app num and ref num, it all showed "mark green", except for the last part, "passport issued" saying "PP pending production.

The whole thing, didn't take up to 30mins. It was sweet and simple. Pls note, it is RENEWAL

You can also print a receipt by clicking the "Print the Receipt" button. Acknowledgement slip is for passport applicant who intends to pay at the bank.

It's very clear now. After the capturing, are they going to return the expired passport or it will remain with them.

I want to express my gratitude to everyone for their contributions. I visited the Alausa Passport office for my passport renewal today and would like to share my experience.

Upon arrival, I was directed to the servicom hall for the DIY team, where a helpful staff (lady) reviewed my documents.

She instructed me to obtain a brown file, rewrite my renewal application on A4 paper, and make a photocopy of the last page of my passport (not just the data page). After swiftly completing these tasks, she cross-checked my documents, added my two recent passport photos, and handed me the file to take to room 12.

In room 12, a meticulous lady thoroughly examined my application letter, verifying details such as the passport number, expiry date, and my signature within the letter. She then signed and dated it.

Returning to the previous staff member, she double-checked the work from room 12 and made some notations on my file. I was then directed to another area for passport capturing, a process that took less than 30 minutes.

The entire experience was remarkably efficient, taking less than an hour in total.

Documents required for renewal:

- Brown file (available for ₦500 on-site)
- Copy of the online passport application form
- Copy of the payment receipt
- Copy of the acknowledgement slip
- The passport you wish to renew
- Copy of both the data page and the last page of the expired passport
- Two recent color passport photographs
- Copy of your NIN slip
- Application letter written on A4 paper.

Sir, the area I am confused now is the "acknowledgement slip" of the thing. How do I have it printed out. I paid with card, and I have printed payment receipt.. how do I do that of acknowledgement own. I don't want to be stopped on the day of my capturing

I think there is a lot of improvement with passport capture and collection currently.

I went today to collect mine and for my wife, spent around 1hr 30m despite meeting a huge crowd there already. The activation is now automatic, they activate it immediately after production, so you don't need to waste time collecting and queuing for activation. That also means you can collect for your family members and friends.

What are the things you took with you for the capturing. I read sth about white and brown envelope that one need to buy. Please if you can state how you went about everything, I will appreciate Sir. From the moment you steped into the alausa office till when u left.

Guys thanks so much, I went on Monday but didn't get captured in their system due to certain issues I would have handled last week and save some money.

Birth Certificate. I could have collected my Birth Certificate at my Local Council last week but I was sort of new to this process hence my ignorance. (It cost me 2500 to do) at Ijora.

Signing of Oath Form. I didn't go to oath office prior to my date of appointment but this was done yesterday at Oriade for 1500.

State/LGA of Origin. I had state of origin here in Lagos but went with LGA of origin which was scanned from the East for me. It was rejected too.

Immediately I sorted this one out, I was able to proceed almost without hindrances.

I got there almost 10am and left before 1pm at Festac. For avoidance of stress in collection, I collected one friendly lady there phone number and will rapport with her until I get a suitable date with plenty convenience for her and me.

Las las, I go give her Coca-Cola money as appreciation (pls, I'm not bribing her o).

Note as well.

Your payment receipt, should be 2 copies.
Your Place of birth should be just the city (Aba or Port Harcourt, or Lokoja, Or Ibadan). If you write (Ogbor Hill, Aba or Aba, Abia State) they'll refuse to collect it from you and refer you to cyber cafe guys. (I paid 500 for this nonsense).

Please, go with plenty cash, cos they'll order you around and you'll need money to avoid getting frustrated out of just something simple.

DIY does not mean you'll spend only 26k, budget 40k due to other contingencies that might arise.

Again, is it most that I go with birth certificate during appointment.

(3) For payment, most I go to the bank to make payment. Cant I do it online using my zenith ATM..

I will never take such for play sir/ma...besides he is not getting to Yaba. Those buses going to Yaba passes through there, all he needs na to inform the conductor immediately he boarded (@ Iyana Ipaja), so they won't pass the bus stop (abule) he will get down.

Is directly opposite the bus stop u alighted and beside the opposite bus stop wen u cross to the other side of the road....Just ask responsible person around there they will show you the building

After the completion of course in Allison, how can one pay for the certificate?

Try and get some training certifications regarding nursing , care work etc , some are done online , while some are physical, depending.

The bolded should be an added advantage as it would give you an edge to actually do the task aside helping out also with the interview.

Once your have done two , three or more nursing/care certifications, You can prepare your resume and start applying for jobs hoping for the ones that can sponsor you .

you prepare for your IELTS for UK general test, if you are not gonna opt for other options to prove your knowledge of English language. minimum grade should be 4 or 4.5, but just target 5 at least .

When successful on the job and you have been given an offer, then

Do your TB test and police certificate report.

Apply for the visa .. that's it

I am sure the the first page of this thread did more explanation on this .
