Book from the hotel site.

Most hotels will let you book without paying on their sites or you can do the hotel a mail to confirm reservation. Either way works.
Thank you brotherly.

1. There are 3rd party agents that will help you get your documents notarized in Abuja. You sincerely didn't have to travel.
2. Airline bookings and Hotel bookings are free. You should never have to pay a dime for them until you get you visa. You can easily download an Airline App (or use their websites) to book flights for visa applications.
How can one book hotel directly without third party?
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kizonero(m): 1:07pm On Dec 03, 2020
Congratulations puff! As you said you did the processing yourself, pls kindly summarize how you go about the whole thing from day one to the last day. Information on the followings will go a long way in helping people who are planning to tour SA.

* What are the documents you submitted

* How did you do the dummy flight booking that you attached to the other documents you submitted. You did it yourself or with the help of those guys at VFS office. Pls explain step by step you took to get it done if u did it yourself.

* How did you do the hotel booking for the submission. Did you pay for the hotel accommodation or just dummy as well. Pls explain the steps and how you did it directly with the hotel. Since third party is not allowed.

* For the bank statement, like how much do you think one should have in his account to be able to qualify for the application. You mentioned reference letter attached to the bank statement, can savings account holder request for such letter. What and what is vital in bank statement and reference letter that one must ensure its in place before attaching it to the documents one wants to submit.

* For the two letters involved, introduction letter and letter of recommendation from an employer, can we see the sample of the two letters. You can remove some personal details of yours and replace it with another thing. We just want to know how its being constructed so that one will not just go about writing long stories that will cause wahala for person.

* Lastly, pls gurus I want to know this. I have a friend who is an SA citizen, and he wants to accommodate me for the number of days I want to stay. Instead of paying for hotels, he said he will allow me to stay in his house. What do I tell the immigration officers at our Airport here in Nigeria and in SA. What and what does the SA citizen need to prepare for me to present at the POE?

I am very sorry for the long messages. Pls anybody with an answer to the above questions should supply. As many will want to benefit from it as well..

Thank you and stay safe

Nice thread gurus, @ijeamaka, you didn't finish your story nah why kwa nu. After you obtained the east African visa for $100, you didn't tell us how you were able to visit the other East African country ( Kenya and Uganda). Did you go by road to those countries.

Here comes my question now, after getting the East Afrcan visa, is it most that one most visit those countries. how does the East African visa look like? Can one visit Kenya by road from Rwanda? And how many hours?

[quote author=Talisha2018 post=96182684]@qhunlay the concluding part.......

We were ushered into the oza room, I sat with my kids while hubby was being questioned for well over 10mins I would say. Immediately he got up, I was ushered by the cbp officer to come for questioning. The first question he asked was if I have a friend in Baltimore Maryland (yeah I do have a friend and she's aware of my travel itenary). I wasn't sure if he'd asked hubby and did not want to lie so I told him yeah I do, asked if we were going to her place, asked about her immigration status(she was there via spousal visa) I gave all answers to the best of my knowledge and sincerity. He then requested for my phone to get her number. I gladly did cos I was sure my phone was clean.

Few minutes later, he called me into another room this time he told me he was typing the transcript of all our conversation. Told me my friend had given a different account of our trip. She told him we were coming to her place( mind you we were not, we were heading to Florida) and spending 3 weeks at her place , she also told him she's been trying to get us an apartment that once we leave her place we would settle into our new place. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. I made it clear to him she was lieing and he asked me "why would she like" I was dumbfounded.

There was nothing we could say to convince them otherwise. They drilled and drilled for over 10hours, threatened we would be put in jail for lieng to a US Federal officer bla bla bla, one of them even called my hubby aside and suggested we seek asylum which I told him " Perish that idea fast". At the end of the day , they concluded they were not convinced enuf that we were genuine tourist, hence they would have to put us on the next flight to Nigeria. My lil girl even tried convincing him we came for holiday. In her words " my mum is not lieng, we came for holiday" ( this brought tears to my eyes) but tah it fell on deaf ears. He was hell bent in sending us back. That's how I found myself back in Nigeria after more than 4 days being airborne. It was indeed a sad experience but I'm grateful to still be alive.

We Live to fight Another day [/quote

God will still make a way for you and your family. So far there is life, hope plenty. Please why did you reject the asylum thing?

Thank you bro for attending to two of my questions. I really appreciated. Still waiting on other gurus in the house to say sth. May God bless you as you do so.

Now, from your advice bro, I should go for visa on arrival so I won't hve to pay double. I hope they won't demand more than that $100 since I hve no other option. You know they can act funny, since I won't want to go back so any price they say I most pay.

Secondly, like how much can one drop for those police men.

Lastly, what are the documents you presented for the visa on arrival processing

Thank you a lot

TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kizonero(m): 3:14pm On Jan 15, 2020
Na wa o, this SA visa thing is indeed pain in the head. I am planning on touring SA this year as part of my travel history. But from what I have read so far, I am not encouraged with the way the processing stuff go.

Pls gurus in the house, which other African country do u think I should sub for SA. I have been to Ghana and Dubai. Just want to burst my travel history once more.

Thank u
