Papasland21:

Very soon ICAN will start running programmes leading to d award of LLB and we will amend d law establishing ICAN to give credence to illegality?

You seem not to understand my point. ICAN doesn't accredit universities offering accounting, unlike Council of Legal Education. Anyone can run ICAN, but you can't go to Law School, unless you have LL.B. ESUT for instance can be amended to be Enugu State University, eliminating the Science and Technology that's causing this issue.
Education / Re: Nigerian Universities That Won't Offer Law And Accounting Anymore by Klamour: 12:44pm On Jan 10, 2017
This automatically means sack of the whole staff of their respective Faculty of Law and Department of Accounting. Creating further unemployment and gross loss of jobs.
I'm aware that the Council of Legal Education regulates universities that offer law courses, using certain criteria to ensure that they are qualified to offer law. If CLE had accredited such faculties based on manpower and facilities, it defeats the power of reason how they are now asked to relief their staff, especially, lecturers of their appointments because it contradicts their mandate. Methinks the best approach is to have their mandates (Acts or Laws) establishing them amended to reflect the current realities, by eliminating Science and Technology in their respective names. Imagine having only UNN (UNEC) offer Law in the whole of Enugu State. Thats worrisome.

Why won't she claim being an alleged Chibok Student when she's being held and interrogated alongside BH terrorists? Thats the safest way of escaping, as long as she's a girl.

Beautiful piece @OP.

Same reason why many people fail exams. Students, out of "great" wisdom or lack of it, reset questions for themselves, and succeed in answering complete OP = Off Point.

Understanding instructions is 40% of the total marks.

For every kidnapper paid ransom 5 more rise ..I know it's difficult not to pay ransom for a loved one but not paying ransom is the only effective way the Americans used to end kidnapping in their country

America has a super effective security system when kidnapping is involved, cause they can track and debug phone lines like our village witches and wizards track some people.

Unfortunately, our Security Agencies encourage payment of ransom.

This is so disheartening.

Meanwhile, alert the security agencies to commence search of the vehicle by matching the plate number, ascertain if it's reported stolen or not. This Will provide a clue.

Pray that it's SIMPLY A KIDNAP CASE, she'll certainly return home by His Grace.

He also sacked Jimoh as the party’s candidate while restoring Jegede as the true candidate for the party.

The Appeal Court said principle of natural justice demands that all sides are given fair hearing and that Abang had no jurisdiction to order INEC order to publish Jimoh’s name as Ondo PDP candidate.

Wonderful move by Ezigbo Nwaada Igbo, Oriaku Oduah and the Senate.

However, Passing the Resolution isn't just enough, Senate should go ahead to ensure that the Inland Ports make their way into the 2017 Budget. Then we will know that they are really interested in the economic expansion.

Leaving it to the whims of the confused Executive will just make the dream dead on arrival.

It's not in doubt that Intercontinental sale was pay back From Mallam Sanusi to a foe (Akingbola),
It's not equally in doubt, that just like most Bank CEOs, Akingbola duped depositors.

However, let the law take its course. Return a man's lifetime investments to him and put stringent measures to prevent sharp practices of Bank CEOs that's still ongoing.

funny enough u applied and still av the temerity to talk this way, the govt is working towards it. I just checked the cost of 500,000 X 20,000 for each laptop to be giving. Mehn, the govt will really spend on this Npower project. Keep calm and pray.

Funny though, I'm GAINFULLY EMPLOYED! haven't been without job since I graduated. My concern isn't self motivated, it's general. Especially when I see some unemployed graduates, whose hopes were raised by this government's empty promises.

Action, they say, speaks louder that words!
