I have my study permit approved and as at yesterday, my wife got her own SOWP approved too, but she is pregnant and to give birth very soon like 5weeks time. please what are the chances of traveling down to Canada without any problem at the POE? please i will appreciate any opinion from experience.

I have made plans for a 6moths Health Insurance in advance, securing accommodation ahead!

The programme I applied for does not require gmat or gre. It is an accelerated bachelor's in computer science for those with bsc in other fields but want a career change.

Your son needs TRV like you.
You can check CIC for the docs needed for your wife's SOWP.

But docs like:
Marriage cert.
Birth cert of your son.
SOA of your wife (to show her personal asset & financial status).
Your SOA if you're going to take care of her financially in Canada.
Her education cert and employment letter to show current employment situation.
Your wife and son will do medicals too.
Etc.

I recently got my study permit approved for August 2018 resumption. I plan to apply for my wife and 2 year old son to enable them accompany me in July. I understand my wife would require a spousal work permit but not sure about the type of visa my son would require.

Can anyone be so kind to give details on the visa my son would require and also the list of documents i would need to proceed with the application for both SOWP and visa for my son.

Please when is your program starting and when is your traveling?

Starting in August. The embassy advised in the email that I travel a month before the start date because i may be refused entry if earlier without any convincing reason, meaning I'll plan for sometime in July.

Me sef shock oh. I just receiveed an email from ACCRAIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca. Although my CIC account has not been updated.

Don't mind those pipo jare. that's what they told me, if u hav a clear photocopy of ur data page of ur passport. thats ok. i did mine on Wednesday at children practice.wen u get there just explain to them.

Kindly share the documents you took along to the medical screening.

it's easy. When u submitted your application @ vfs, a colored photocopy of your int'l passport data page was given to you, for what you would use to show as evidence before taking your passport after a final decision has bn made. Make another copy and take it for your medicals. Cheers, mate

Will they collect the copy I've got?

I just called two panel physicians to book a medical appointment and was told I would need my international passport or a stamped scanned copy of my passport from the Canadian embassy. The challenge now is that I submitted my passport to vfs with my application and I wasn't sent any scanned copy.

Kindly advise on how I should proceed

My study permit application on CIC website has been updated. I am to perform medical examination within 30 days. I submitted my application with vfs on the 31st of January 2018. Na God hand i dey at this point.

I WAS SENT A MAIL TODAY BY CIC TO PAY FIRST YEAR TUITION FEE...THREE OPTIONS WAS GIVEN TO CHOOSE.....but my school said I can pay tuition on arrive.....and I attached the email sent to me by my school.....
