PanicButton: Oh *dances on you guys behalf*. I just recieved my stamped passport today. I had submitted to VFS Abuja who then transmitted to Accra I suppose. I submitted via UPS on the 10th of November. My Visa was issued on the 12th of December, and I received it today. So give or take you get your passport back 2 weeks after it is stamped. All the best you guys, we are rooting for you all! Congratulations on your visa! Are you please able to point me to a link / help with the procedure you followed to send your passport to VAC for stamping? The request letter from IRCC isn’t very specific, plus I did not get much information from VAC Nigeria website. Thanks |

Jaqenhghar: Anything that will take you out of that shithole is a good idea. You are not going to "hustle" bit really study something that will make you marketable. Dont be like one my guy. I was almost begging him to leave he used the money to "invest". same happened with a friend of mine in naija now. In 2018, we both decided and had secured visas to leave naija. He did not travel becos he got cold feet and instead, chose to invest the money. Let's just say he is full of regrets now. I am more than grateful I left for Canada. |

Diaperssbabies: Good Evening All, please i have a question. For someone that just submitted his ITA application and under PCC he submitted Original scanned copy of a foreign PCC without adding its certified translation, can the person raise a webform to rectify this issue?
Or the application will still be cancelled by IRCC since the translated copy was not submitted initially?
Thanks Its good you spotted this early. I would suggest you raise a web form as soon as possible with the translation document (i would do a scan of the entire police report and the translation) and maybe a statement to explain that you omitted it in error. |

RetiredAdult: I think it would be very wicked and very Nigerian of you (exactly the reason we’re all trying to leave this country) for you to come here, where people are trying to get information and hustling to leave the country and you still want to come here pretending to want to help people in order to scam them. Very very wicked. Let’s all be careful of people in our journey to move on to a better life. Not everyone here has genuine intentions. If the person is here, kindly call them out ! No time for nonsense |

Check him out on YouTube and search Google for his website to book a consultation. After the consultation with him, you’ll be clear on the next steps. All the best |

Obidevin: hello all, I need clarity please, my international passport has expired and I am working on getting it done, but with the nimc suspension I have to wait to get my NIN, I want to confirm if I can go ahead to pay for WES, and my IELTS exams, I need advice please, I am a newbie in this, I need guidance for people that know better. expired? I know you would need your international passport (valid) number at the point of registering for IELTS (don't remember if its same for WES) and would also have to show it as proof of identification on the day of the exam. So i'm guessing you would have to get your new passport first (at least before IELTS). |

oh...I think i get your situation now. So my understanding is that she didn't change name and the name on her passport, ECA report and academic qualification (all names being her maiden name) are the same, Correct?
It's quite unfortunate if the irregularity is from WES. I'm not sure how long it would take for WES to resolve the error after you've notified them, but i think its worth the effort to do so (and this is me not taking into consideration any other constraints that may be present). |

Monopoly1: Good afternoon seniors, I just evaluated my wife's degree and surprisingly didn't get any mail for verification, only to see her ECA ready today. However, I saw something which I don't know may be an issue. " The names of one or more of the academic credentials submitted for evaluation differ from the name indicated above". I don't know if I should ignore it or contact her school. Anyone with similar experience pls. If my memory serves me right, at the point of submitting an application with WES, you would have been asked if the candidate's name on the academic qualification differs from their current name and also to state the name on the qualification. Did you fill in the appropriate information at that point? Cos i also evaluated my spouse's qualification and on her ECA report, it indicated that the name on the ECA report (which is also the name on her passport) differs from the name on the academic credential she submitted and it makes sense cos as at the time she got the degree, she wasn't married to me and she did not have a passport with her maiden name. We also indicated this on our EE profile with the appropriate change of name documentation. I think the 'koko' is all names must match i.e. ECA report, Passport, EE application and if there was a change of name (due to marriage or other reasons), you should provide documentation to back it up. I'm open to any corrections |
