Classicalman: He is a complete illiterate honourable. Did he actually go through the 200 page report to see how PWC arrived at tyue $1.48bn? I dont think he did. He just wants to run his motor-mouth like typical APC member. I am sure you lack the knowledge that he is an FCA with proven record in public Account. He know what he is saying. PWC should have pooled out of the assignment rather than do a shady job. |

GEJ, a democrat?
Liar. He forced all Nigeria back to work during peaceful protest with soldiers. What Buhari has done is personal, not with the office of presidency.
GEJ did his with office of the presidency. |

I see people just bring issue out of no issue, what we want is a nation for all with all things working for a common Nigeria. If this works, it will definately affect the exchange rate. Nigeria does not necessarily has to make one naira to one dollar before things improveM |

Adapted from Akiolu response to accusation: He assured them of his continued support and assistance where needed and the meeting ended with the traditional breaking of kolas, alligator pepper, and bitter kola and pouring of liberation on the ground. It was within this context that that the tradition of Lagos with regard to the lagoon came up. It was noted that whoever works against the throne and the interest and peaceful co-existence of Lagos would end up in the lagoon as per tradition. drfk001: Bro who told you businesses aren't thriving in other states. This is another problem we have @ state level always blaming the federal government for all the problems. I live and run a business in Lagos, I pay my taxes and levies but all I noticed in my neighborhood from the state government over the last 4 years is patching of a 100m stretch of road. My question is don't my neighborhood deserve more from the government. I do not know the part of Lagos you live but I am pretty sure APC govt has done far better in opening up abandon areas with road. As for the business issue, govt is to provide enabling enviroment. The pressure will reduce if the Federal Govt had done much to have so many commercial city. As for the tax what Lagos has done is enforcement and as usually said a lawless nation is a bad nation. |
Politics › Re: Agbaje Or Ambode - Online Polls by knoph2007: 2:46pm On Apr 06, 2015 |
drfk001: I didn't criticize for just no reason. you can read I believe and you saw the reason I gave thanks for responding, how come business are not thriving in other states where there is no tax as you have said like Lagos. Forget the tax. The amount paid is not the problem but basic amenitites which is lacking from the federal such as electricity, security, etc. And mind you to attain mega city is not cheap. Even Agbaje will confirm you that it cos much to run biz(tax wise) in developed nation of the world. |
Politics › Re: Agbaje Or Ambode - Online Polls by knoph2007: 2:26pm On Apr 06, 2015 |
drfk001: Classes of people campaigning for APC in lagos 1. Those that work for the government 2. Those that work for big companies that rarely see their pay checks to know how much they are being taxed. 3. Those that are unemployed who basically have nothing to be taxed
if you own and run a business in Lagos that's actually taxable, there's no way you would vote for apc. Every year, you would pay levy to LASAA for your signboard, Multiple tax to the local government and finally another tax to the state government. How would a small to medium scale business survive such taxation. Forget about the rhetoric and planting of flowers along the street, Lagos is about the people who live there and not just the flowers on the road. If JK would reduce the multiple taxation and thereby support small to medium scale enterprises with tax relieves then he should be given the chance. sorry, u are wrong those that love the land and support development not those that criticise for just no reason. Ambode d man. |

kinibigdeal: How many jobs have your APC state created? lets start from there. You need full lecture on governance. Government provide enabling enviroment, while jobs spring up. As far as I am concerned, APC states do the best in putting their amenities in order. Rather than face the issues by FG, they were busy looting. This is the reason we are where we are now. Buhari still the best. |

How many unemployed class mates do you have. If the system works, you need not be given cash. What is needed from government is enabling enviroment (eg security, light, etc) not you point. Dashing out cash when investor are getting loans at exhorbitant high rate. |
