If we want democracy to last long, we should be allowed to vote with our phones. This electoral is not working and we are not getting the best guys to represent us.
The technology is already on ground. We can do it. |

Ikaeniyan0: I agree with you 100%
Is one of Awolowo plan if he became the president With the frequent outbursts from the military coming to town beating NEPA officials we really need them out of town and out of our sight. I have never seen a soldier walking casually in London. |

There are ungoverned places in this country move this military installation to such places like Zambezi forest, lake chad and by the border of sokoto and Niger republic.
What is Bonny camp doing in the middle of VI Lagos a prime land occupied by military installation have you ever seeing an army barracks in the middle of time square New York.
We need to send all military installation to far flung ungoverned places not in the middle of town. |

Jakumo: The good people of Kogi State have FINALLY realized what a terrible mistake they made in electing as their representative a long-retired commercial sex worker with a foul mouth and hideous prune face, whose hobbies evidently included breeding free-range mongrel brats all sired by a generous cross-section of her HIV-infected clientele.
Now that the good folks of Kogi State have FINALLY come to their senses, the process of democratically clipping the wings of that deranged old layer chicken is straightforward and thankfully already in progress, praise be to Papa God. Old and expired layer chickens must never be recycled into political life again so that sanity can be restored after the recent theater of the absurd starring a hysterical and comically pompous overweight grandmother with the foul temperament of a cornered rattlesnake.
With the obese, verbose, and dim-witted old lunatic woman unceremoniously flushed down into the septic tank of history where she is long overdue, the good people of Kogi State can draw on the lessons this sorry shit-show offers them, as inspiration to phase in comprehensive and rigorous psychiatric evaluations to serve as mandatory rites of passage for all who seek to represent their interests in the federal capital. There must never be a recurrence of the ridiculous and comical buffoonery displayed by the nasty waddling old fart Mrs. Natrasha Abolonjeku. Never knew Jakumo is still in Nairaland. I always enjoy your narration. What a classic keep it up brother. That woman would be sent back to d streets of Abuja to go and hustle. |

Jorussia: My own is not the issue of legality of suspending the governor or not,That issue was tested up to supreme Court by Joshua Dariye and he lost that case.I don't think this emergency can stand, the president doesn't have the required 2/3 to pull this through at the nass.I don't see 73 senators supporting this emergency during voting tomorrow. He may get 240 in the reps, but i doubt a vote of more than 60 in support can happen in the Senate. As of Falana that man can shout for Africa. Half the time u don’t know what he is saying. If that man is as intelligent as he pretends he definitely knows the truth. This law 101 fundamentals of law. |

Agbegbaorogboye: That's your opinion of Abati but I still think it's disrespectful to refer to his educational qualifications in that manner. Moreso when you couldn't even complete a 1st degree Abati has a master's degree in law as one of his master's degrees Falana and the NBA agree with his position. Are they also educated illiterates in your view? I have a first degree from university of Ibadan Nigeria. I was doing this one as play play, when I got bored of the course and realised that I have learned the fundamentals I quitted. |

parkervero: Please, enlighten me, was the governor removed or suspended? That makes Abati an an educated illiterate illiterate. There are words used in law, expressive, inference, narrow , and expansive narration. If Abati wore his thinking cap he would realise that that instruction in the constitution can be interpreted forward, backwards, sideways or upwards. That makes it like amoeba it can be designated whatever shape the judiciary and house of assembly desires. |

gidgiddy: But did the constitution expressly say that the President has any power to remove a sitting Governor?
According to the constitution, the only 4 ways a democratically elected Governor can be remove is by resignation, impeachment, incapacitating and death That is subject to interpretation in courts and the house of assembly. Unless u want to start thinking like a market woman. |

Agbegbaorogboye: Abati got his PhD from UI He has two bachelors and two matters degree I doubt you're as educated as he is yet you have the mouth to call his PhD money for hand back for ground . He is still an educated illiterate, I did 2 years in the UK not even graduating I know what an expressively narration means in a constition once a declaration has not been expressively anchored it is subject to interpretation. For Abati to be spewing nonsense because he knows millions of Nigerians are watching him smacks of desperation of Arise TV. Both Abati & Rufai are falling our hands. I hope Donald Trump bans Rufai from coming to America because of his comments against Donald Trump. The stupid boy end up spending almost a month on holiday in the same America he abuses. |
Politics › Abati Is An Educated Illiterate??? by KnowAll(op): 8:23pm On Mar 19, 2025 |
The constitution did not expressively say the president cannot remove the Governor of a state. The constitution left that salient issue to the National Assembly and the Supreme Court to interpret the way they like . I read law and I know what expressive narration means.
So Abati is wrong with his useless PHD from money for hand back for ground phd. |

Just checked different countries rate in 2023
To the dollar
Ghana cedis 2023 11.20
Ghana cedis 2025 15.8
Kenyan schillings 158 2023
Today it is 129 to the dollar it actually strengthened
South Africa Rand 18.50 2023
S.A. rand today 18.80
So why did the naira drop from 700 to 1600 in just 2 years no wonder people are hungry. |

How can we have brown water coming from taps in Nigeria in 2025. Abeg Mr Governor if all we can see as Tinubu ‘s legacy is brown water then we should not expect much from him by 2027.
So Mr Governor in other to save yourself and that of your oga sort out the brown water in Lekki.
I get embarrassed when I see you tubers compare Accra with Lagos and they laughing at the brown water in Lekki area. Lekki is supposed to be a high brow area. |

nairalanda1: Ghana: 2016 one dollar was 4.cedi
2023: one dollar was 11.2 cedis
Kenya: 2016 one dollar was 100 Kenya shillings
Now: 120 shillings gets you.a.dollar.
( Kenya gets half it's income from.donor agencies)
South Africa
17 rand to dollar in 2016 18 rand to dollar in 2025
( Diversified industrial economy that exports Also gold , platinum and a vibrant tourist sector)
Nigeria could do better than all this if we had serious government We are talking about 2023 rates. Was Tinubu President in 2016? |

Compared to Kenya, Ghana and South Africa. These countries exchange rate has more than remain the same today as it was in 2023. Why is it that ours went down so rapidly. All 3 countries rely on foreign goods probably except SA but the other two yes. So there is no justification for the exchange rate to drop from 700 to 1600 today. Guys make Una make me understand 😳🤔 |
