I thought d border with cameroon is closed. |
Bleep |
Igbo's should be prepared to move to Umahia just like they did in 1967. This is because the fall of of Enugu is Imminent!! Boko Horam is in Gwoza Town now, IF looked at and CALCULATED PROPERLY ON a STRAIGHT LINE ON THE map, it is less than 200 miles to Enugu. I hope my brethren in East are prepared for these marauders. ![]() Do not say I told you oh!!!! ![]() |
The Presidency on Sunday claimed there was no |
cluelessness is understament if one were to describe Mr President's Action and his personalty. I am still at lost of what his mission is in Germany?? ![]() |
Just saw Mr President in Germany wishing our girls best of luck in their football match. What is he doing in Germany when one of his Towns have being ravaged, claimed and caliphated in his absence. They said he was sick hence the unschuleded journey to Germany, but his aides has come out and dispel that rumours. So what is Mr President doing in Germany?? ![]() |
Once created a Colonel should be tasked of been the Military Governor. All the LG HQ would be headed by a Major with about 500 troops each. The command and control structure should move away from the inoperable archaic structure we have now to a state Command structure, where the head of the Army in a state would be in the Capital and his Lieutenants would be based in the LG HQs. The Army should have a strength of 500 personnel per LG while the state command would have a pool of 3000 troops which can be called upon to augment any LG area threatened in a conflict. I cannot believe we are still operating the current Command & Control Structure inherited from our colonial masters. A system that has being in operation since the first coup and we have never thought of changing it or restructuring it for it to meet modern expectations. The world has moved on since 1967. ![]() |
The COAS should be operating and stationed permanently in the NE Sector, not gallivanting about SE and SS States. If the top Army man is around that would boost the morale of the fighting troops. |
Rivers State was created on May 27, 1967 by a military Decree and by 1996, Bayelsa State was carved out of it. |
In enssence you ar saying BH should be given their own state what about the bloodsucking northern elders and their Yoruba slaves are we to create their own states for them?Go and read your History Books. Gowon created 8 new states when the war broke out in 1967. He also appointed Military administrators for those states created. In effect the Military administrators had to resume work in a war torn area which simply meant fearcefully engaging the enemy to hold his ground and live in peace with his subjects. Its is another dimension in warfare. Where the high Military Command would be controlled from the state sector rather than from a brigade sector more than 300 miles away in Maiduguri. |
In 1967, during the Biafra War, Rivers State & South Eastern States were created from the OLD eastern region. The present state creation exercise should be fast forward for expediency especially because of the uncontrollable situation in Borno State. Savannah State which would cover most Southern Borno and Gwoza should be created in order to stop the BH Marauders in their tracts. Guys what do you think? At least if the state was created a military Governor would be in place until such a time when elections are conducted. The Presence of a Military Governor and all the security advantages that comes with such office would bold well not only for the war effort, but would open up another secure corridor around Gwoza and Southern parts of Borno State while the Northern Sector would be catered from Maiduguri, at present there seems not enough men & equipment on the ground for some strange reasons. It has worked in the past, and there is no reason why it would not work now. Present day Borno State is too big to police. If Sambisa forest which is bigger than Lagos State has less Police, Soldiers, Air force than Lagos State, what hope does Southern Borno and environ have from the rampaging BHARMITES. This is just my 2cents!!!1 ![]() |
Just watch a video about ebola in a small village in Zaire now Congo, and in d said video western scientist were against d unethical solution of transfusing blood from an ebola immuned person to an ebola affected person. In d video d Zaire doctors insisted on d procedure once one of their nurses got affected. To the astonishment to all around d procedure worked like magic, all d last people that contacted d disease out 8 of them, 7 survived. The question is how come d same procedure has not being put to practise in Nigeria, Liberia, Seirraleone and Guniea. Something is fishy about ebola. The westerners are telling us there is no cure yet an African procedure has being professed many years ago, what is going on here. I will post d video when time permits me. |
Is this an army strategy? Allow Boko Haram to take a few towns in southern Borno State therby leaving their hide-out in samnbisia forest only 4 d army to round up and later dislogded them. Sounds like nice & feasible strategy if that is d strategy ![]() |
The police seems to have a better fighting spirit in them than our national army. Kudos to them for repelling d intial attack. Fighting insurgents with with those super guns that can bring down a plane is not beans. |
If only our nation can be run with such dexterity and effectiveness, then our nation would be the much talked about but elusive "El dorado" . Kudos to Fashola and his crew. We cannot discount the role played by the federal authorities for being pro-active on this one, tackling this monstrosity with the co-operation it desired to the envy and praise worthiness to Nigerians, Africans and foreigners alike. Kudos to Fashola and his crew for being forthright from the onset. ![]() |
Decentralisation has in way helped Nigeria. Unlike in Liberia,Seirra leone & Guninea where every buck stops at their president's table. In Nigeria Fashola had already started doing d right untill d feds step in. Kudos to Nigeria. Rare applaud for d nation. |
I think he grew up in lagos. His mother is Yoruba, I doubt d hausas would take him as one theirs. Someone already said he has a ridiculous accent. ![]() |
The Cameroonian Army Chief was deployed to the border ares with Nigeria. Why our service chiefs are sitting in Abuja, I don't know. ![]() |
He would have gotten d soludo treatment and become a person non gratas individual. |
People still clubbing with ebola in town na wah oh |
We can't be waiting for America to develop a drug for us when it us that have d headache. America is actually taken medecine for our headache. Are we blocked heads in this country. |
On d face of it , a drug should be able to be developed if all our trado-medical practioners, botanist, biochemist and micro-biologist including pharmist and our pharmacologist all come together and put heads together to resolve this african disease once and for all. Afterall Ebola attacks d immune system, so how to boost d immune system should be d starting point for any treatment regime or any drug that would be developed. With d dongoyaro tree and many others like it in Nigeria, a lot of medcines can be developed from these formidable trees so what are waiting for. Even d salt mentioned a few weeks ago has a role to play in d eventual combination of drugs and therapy that should be used if applied correctly in d right combination with other solvents. Just wondering aloud here, Nigerian higher institutions turns out 100' s if not 1000's of d aformentioned professionals annually, are we saying these individuals all go to university to pass exam only? And after they have passed the said exam that is d end of all d knowledge they have acquired. Haba this is not right? Come on guys, make una no fall my hand oh!!!! ![]() |
I am sure since we have been eating bushmeat from time memorial a cure or remedy for ebola would have been hidden under d numerous herbs at d disposal of our traditional healers. Unfortunately becos of demand & supply today, trado-medical practioners chose to go down d inglorious route of ritual money service delivery thereby relegating d more humble & esteemable practise of treating diseasee like ebola to d back-burner. This man must be given a chance. |
Does political activity cease when there is no election, just wondering aloud here. I wonder what kind of democracy we practise in Nigeria. ![]() |
Was she d one that posted that message on facebook. Anyways RIP. |
he should take a holiday to Liberia or better still visit that hospital in Yaba, after his encounter with Ebola then we shall see if it was a scam. |
The logistics of feeding 10, 000 insurgents would be a daunting nightmare, I do not believe this report. |
I Congratulate Ogbeni for a job well done winning his 2nd term bid. But d only issue I have he should continue Governing with d same enthuisiam, gusto and determination. But from what we have seen sofar and d experience all around us, it would appear our 2nd term Governors just go to sleep. I hope Ogbeni would not let d good people of Osun state down going by d prevalent precedence. Once again to Ogbeni, congrats and God bless you. Just thinking aloud here ....................... Could it becos d twin trouble of ebola and boko haram has not being resolved that Mr President allowed d peoples vote count and d anomaly that happened in Ekiti state not allowed to see d light of day. Kudos to Mr President and INEC for allowing common sense to prevail for once. |
At d moment Salt is Winning. Salt v Ebola 2 - 1 Not counting Mr Sawyer's death it would appear fear of Ebola is actually killing more people than ebola herself. ![]() |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Thanks it is question not a fact. |
