GMB for change.
voting Buhari or Jonathan won't solve this boko haram problem or other intractable Nigeria problems. Restructuring the country and her politics will go a long way. All Nigerians know this but are being hypocritical cos, the situation benefits their tribes ( hausa/fulani and yorubas). Igbos have no hands on this unfolding event that may still be the greatest tragedy to befallen on the black race. ( just hope it won't lead to the use of weapons of mass destruction) Igbos have being asking endlessly for the restructuring or redefining of the country. Hausa/fulani endlessly have rejected that while the Yorubas will agree with it in principle but play a little politics with it in reality. Igbos have rejected Nigeria as is presently construed and even sacrificed over 3 million beautiful igbo souls to pull out of Nigeria cos they know (from being the most travelled and mix with other Nigerian tribes within Nigeria) to no avail. In this context, its really a surprise to me why the Yorubas whom the Igbos have the deepest interactions and mixes than hausa/fulani ( # of mixing b/w hausa/fulani and Yoruba not as much compared with Igbos) could not understand the Igbo mentality and their block votes towards Jonathan. Only GOD knows.

His claim that the Yoruba nation was a pace setter for blacks may be true. Someone made this claim sometime ago and I decided to research it and found out it's true. For example; the Yorubas didn't just keep an oral history like other African nations but were able to record their's right from the creator Olorun to the kings and kingdoms.
Is the biggest lie ever. Where is your innoson, Chimamada Ngozi , your Chinua Achebe with over 50 languages translated out of his book. Did the yorubas created Nollywood. Pace setter for black race by mouth?.

9jafreak:
First of all, I congratulate you warmly for winning the nomination of your party for the presidency of Nigeria.

Though you and I are different in ethnicity and religion, we have many important things in common. I am a few years older than you – which means that if you and I had been Yoruba boys born in the same Yoruba town or village, we would have belonged to about the same age-grade Association ( with us Yoruba, age-grade loyalty is traditionally a very important factor of life). Moreover, you and I were young Nigerians in an era, the 1950s, when our up-and coming country of Nigeria was a source of great pride to its citizens, and an emerging titan eagerly awaited by most informed people all over the world.

The three regions of our federation (East, North and West) were engaged in an ambitious rivalry for progress and for improvements in the quality of life of our people. They were able to do that and achieve considerable successes because our constitutional structure gave them much leeway to manage their own affairs within the common Nigerian family. We arrived at independence in 1960 believing that our country was set on the path to becoming the blackman’s world power of modern times.

Unhappily, now that you and I are in our seventies, there is nothing left of our country’s ambitions and pride – indeed, there is hardly anything left of our country itself. Relentlessly crooked up, violated, robbed and depleted since 1960, our Nigeria seems now to be stumbling towards its demise.

As you prepare for your election, I decided to write you this open letter concerning our country, because I know you will understand the pain and expectations behind my words. The purpose of most of Nigeria’s rulers since 1960 has been to weaken and even destroy regional and local initiatives in order to gather all power, control and influence together at the federal center. Their success in doing that has enabled them to remove the management of development far away from our people, and to institute at the federal centre a viciously corrupt, wasteful and incompetent monstrosity. Reduced to the status of beggar clients of the federal robber barons, the state governments, as well as the local governments, collapsed and fell in line as submissive incompetents and mini-robbers.

In the process, real and productive enterprise quickly declined among our people, as the best and most ambitious rushed to join the ranks of the sharers of fraudulently acquired wealth from the public coffers. Our schools and universities, our public service, our police force, our military, our judiciary, all our governmental agencies (electoral commission, secret service, central bank, ports service, immigration service, public examination bodies, etc) – all collapsed under the weight of crooked control, massive corruption and generalized disloyalty. Poverty descended mightily into our country and became the lot of the overwhelming and increasing majority of our people. Our government itself admits that, today, about 70% of our citizens live in “absolute poverty” and that that percentage keeps increasing. With the growing poverty have escalated horrific crimes, a culture of dishonesty, a rush of our youths to Salafist fundamentalist terrorism, and mass flights of the educated to other lands – all of which are compounding the poverty.

From your well-known record as a leader of our country, I know that you are not only aware of these things, but that, in common with many members of our generation, you are seriously pained by them. I confess that I was very angry with you during your brief stint as military ruler, 1983-5. First, you seemed to me to be power-drunk at the time—because you made no distinction between the corrupt who had been stealing and sharing public money under Shagari and those who were known to have been resisting the robbery. I belonged to the frontline of senators who were well known to have, on the floor of the Senate, resisted the mass corruption, and yet your military government detained me (and many like me), and I languished for four months in prison without any accusation–even without being asked any question by any official.

And then, you and Idiagbon expended most of your obviously shining capabilities in pursuing nebulous and amateurish programmes like WAI (War Against Indiscipline), when what our country really needed was (after you had fiercely shot down corruption as you did) to massively divert our enormous oil revenues into investments in the lives of our people–through programmes for expansion and diversification of education, modern job skills development, entrepreneurial development, small business development, promotion of modern farming, policies for improving the quality and reputation of our labour force and thereby attracting investments and businesses into our country, policies for promotion of exports, etc. Put a people to work and persistently multiply the economic opportunities available to them, and the attraction to prosperity through competitive enterprise will gradually suppress indiscipline in their land. Fanciful programmes like WAI can have no lasting benefit or future – as I hope you must know by now. That is why the man who ousted you, Babangida, was able quite easily to wipe out all the patriotic gains of your regime.

Furthermore, I though t it was a pity that you did not appear to recognize that the over-centralization that was being given to our federation was the foundation of our ills as a country. You were wrong in thinking that punishing the corrupt leaders would destroy corruption abidingly. What is needed is to change the system into which corruption has been built. In our country’s case, we needed (and we need) to reduce the magnitude of our federal government and empower our state and local governments, which are nearer the people, to bear most of the burden of development. Then we need to give recognition and respect to our various nationalities in structuring the federation – which should mean that our larger nations would each constitute a state, and contiguous groups of our smaller nationalities would be assisted to form states, just as the Indians sensibly and profitably did in the 1960s.

By refusing to go that route, Nigeria has abysmally depressed its nationalities. For instance, my Yoruba nation came into Nigeria in 1914 as easily the fastest modernizing nationality in Black Africa; and we entered into independence with Nigeria in 1960 as the development front-liner and pace-setter in Africa. Today, we are a battered, poor, and disoriented nation, and most of our achievements have been wrecked, thanks to our being part of a Nigeria that destroys its peoples. Every other Nigerian nationality has similar stories to tell. My brother, I am, by nature and by upbringing, averse to merely lamenting an evil development; I act to change it. My potential urge, even as I write this, is to exert myself with others like me towards pulling my Yoruba nation out of Nigeria if Nigeria will not change course – and that is something that we Yoruba are perfectly capable to achieve if we are pushed to start upon it. And the same is true of some other persons and nations. In short, let’s not ignore or minimize the danger of Nigeria’s dissolution.

I know you have what it takes to change and save Nigeria. I wish you luck in your election – and I wish Nigeria luck.

Do you know, that most 10 yrs old in Igbo land know that restructuring Nigeria will restructure out those vices like corruption, underdevelopment, bad governance at the center, and ultimately poverty. Why are Nigerians not bold enough to undertake that clear and straight forward approach?, cos some groups are afraid, and therefore are willing to destroy or even bring their group to extinction as long as the other group is destroyed too. This was what Obasonjo daughter was trying to point out to her dad on that letter about the unsustainability of the present system.

Mykel4God:
The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) will soon commence Nollywood Studies. This is according to the Vice Chancellor of the school, who also revealed that the University already set up a committee for the establishment of the centre for Nollywood studies in the University.
Read the full details of this news as reported by theNews Agency of Nigeria:
UNILORIN plans to start studying Nollywood
The Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Prof. AbdulRsheed Na’ Allah says that the institution Will Soon Begin To Study Nollywood.
Na’ Allah disclosed this on Monday, in his opening address at the Conference on African Cinema, with the theme; “African Cinema and the Supernatural”, organised by the University.
Prof. AbdulRsheed Na’ Allah, says he has inaugurated a committee for the establishment of the centre for Nollywood studies in the University.
He said that when operational, the centre would be charged with the responsibility of highlighting the role and effect of Nollywood films in the society.
Na’ Allah said that the conference was part of the University’s aim of building bridges between scholars and those who promote culture outside the university.
The vice-chancellor said that the essence of the conference was to redefine the progress made by the nation in terms of arts and culture for the benefit of all.
“In 2010, the theme of the KWASU Conference on African Cinema was “Nollywood: A Natural Cinema”, this year, it is “Nollywood and the Supernatural’’.
He said the themes of both conferences showed the commitment of the institution to the promotion of culture through cinema.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Onookome Okome, Lecturer, University of Alberta, Canada, said that the conference was aimed at exploring how Nollywood could depict the supernatural and its capacity in resolving problems.
He said that the centre being planned would be a focal point where the meaning and relevance of Nollywood would be studied. (NAN)

If you want to really study or research nollywood, go straight to its root, the Igbo people, their culture, their cosmology, and other gifted attributes like physical appearance and attraction (mostly their women and their liberal ways ), their accent as it convey what ever message they are trying to send to the rest of the world, their diaspora within Nigeria, Africa, USA, Europe and Asia(China) which is the most vital component in spreading nollywood to the 4 corners of this Earth. Don't forget their buying and selling ingenuity and doggedly which played and continue to play a major part. Don't forget the decades of marginalisation and under development of their region that forced them into the 4 corners of this Earth in the first place. A different focus of study of Nollywood that doesn't follow this historical realities and then use it in a way to integrate Igbos properly into the Nation's political, cultural and economic main stream will be a wasted venture and resources. The history of Nollywood is the history of Igbo people and their art and culture, and if you doubt me, then study deep enough the reasons for universal acceptance of Chinua Achebe's book Things Fall Apart ( in over fifty languages), Chimamada Ngozi Adichie and etc. That same universal appeal is what propelled Nollywood to its enviable height. *note* we Igbos like to bust a lot oooo..

I expect Buhari when he resumes to tear it down and expunged it from our records. It's a shameful report.
My friend, Nigeria intractable problems are not sorely corruption and bad leadership per say, but the foundationol political structure engineered by the original designers to Make the whole structure weak and susceptible to internal to external control. The way the North and South west were crafted into this structure make it almost impossible for the total population within this structure to effect any changes. Inversely, any action from these two groups can only fulfill the vision of the dialectic which is the structure in question. Nigeria is haegilian dialecticed matrix in dystopia. The national conference recommendations could only be the magic bullet as we stare at the convergence of dark force, ebola, boko haram, drop in oil prices, ethnic and religious inspired presidential election, devaluation of naira, double digits inflation that might even lead to hyper inflation, zero revenue to rebuild the North, unacceptance of that by niger Delta militancy, as they will reason that their son were chased out in order to continuously use their oil to rebuild the North, oil wells licenses due for renewal and the regional politics of it, increasing rate of poverty in the country of which 100 Buharis will be clueless in the face of, and on and on and on. ...

If the rest of Nigeria, and indeed sub - Sahara Africa can try to understand this resilience and self reliance spirit of the Igbos of Nigeria, Africa infrastructural gap and regional integration analysis could have being on a different level. Could you imagine, innoson motors producing locally made heavy equipment trucks and caterpillars ( doable too ) and employ Labour force of age b/w 20 - 40yr (solving Nigeria or Africa youth bulge ) on a 24 hr basis. This will cut down close to 40% of the so called $90 billion yearly Africa infrastructural gap, that Nigeria and Africa govt. Africa development Bank and private sector are crafting through PPA. The bulk of that $90 billion comes from equipment importation. .....also $150 billion yearly cash out flow from Africa through these dubious arrangements. Sometimes in life,You become immature so as to pass your messages across to immature people who believe insult is best way of dealing with issues. The best way for a 6'2 tall man or woman to have nice play/chat with 2/3 years old child of 35 to 40 inches in height is going on his/her knees so as to create that height balance which might enable the child to be more comfortable with him/her.

Back to your question, I have stated it in my earlier post that there was no statistics in place to prove that one part of Nigeria is better than or well developed than others. Anybody could come online to claim that his father compound is as massive as Aso rock. Having been/lived in any of part Nigeria does not authenticate/validate your personal view as to where is well developed in the country.

However, there is only one natural thing that could come in place of a proven statistics as to where is more developed and economically viable and that thing is Emigration of people from their homeland to another. The whole point of emigrating to another country/regions is to find/get a better life which your homeland could not afford to give you.
Like some Chinese people coming to Africa.

TRUTHTELA:
BIGOTRY, MYOPIC and BACKWARD, thinking has made many of you to be so DEBASED.

You boast about how Igbo's, never tested and not going to be the president of Nigeria and you fail to bury your face in SHAME how your own folks LOOTED and ran one of the greatest countries on earth to ground. Hausa and Yourba's have never produced any " president", rather, YOU GAVE NIGERIA ROGUES 1960-2010. If I am wrong, count Nigeria's past rulers and look around you.

From 1970- 2010, the so called presidents ( MYOPIC ROGUES), that ruled Nigeria, failed to REDUCE THE POWER OF THE PRESIDENCY or build STRONG INSTITUTIONS that would have have CHECKED the excesses of GEJ or anyone that becomes the president, rather, you made the presidency a DEMI-GOD and ABUSED your power to fullest, but when GEJ, used that same power you built ( follow y'all path) everyone will be screaming.

The UNEDUCATED and SHORT-SIGHTED Hausa muslims and Yourbas that were at the helm of affairs in Nigeria, from 1970-2010 failed to make INEC an INDEPENDENT organization. In terms of funding and appointing the INEC chief, INEC's independence would have helped the organization to be as NEUTRAL as possible, consequently, FREE and FAIR elections will not continue to be a mirage... YOU CAN'T EAT YOUR CAKE AND HAVE IT.

I DISLIKE GEJ, as a president. If I was living in Nigeria, I wouldn't have voted for him, however, I CHOSE to SUPPORT him against MONSTERS trying to make him look bad I hope you UNDERSTAND the difference.

Hausa's and Yourba's made Jonathan the CORRUPT, VISIONLESS DICTATOR that he is. Jonathan has FAILED. If he wins again, HE WILL FAIL the second time. Obasanjo, FAILED 1st term and FAILED 2nd term ( OBj, is living in REGRET, why do you think he keeps attacking GEJ?). The presidents that ruled Nigeria before Obj, in 1999, THEY ALSO FAIL, WHY? Because of the SYSTEM, THE SYSTEM, THE SYSTEM.

I don't care about which party elects the next president, I can assure that the whoever becomes the next president will also FAIL. Before the APC or PDP president will even settle the ETHNIC TENSION that will spring up after the election, 2-3 years is gone, the rest two years, he will be sourcing for LOANS to use in running the country, because ,NIGERIA IS BROKE, NIGERIA IS BROKE (The biggest economy in the world, USA, is not buying Nigeria's oil again, and they have discovered their own oil, hence, the CRASH IN OIL PRICES).

Yourba's, should stop bad-mouthing Igbo's, or hating on GEJ, UNNECESSARILY, I mean, give it a break. I love the fact that Yourba's recognizes a FAILURE when they see one. Millions of yourba's chose not to VOTE or SUPPORT Obasanjo, in 1999, simply because they know HE WAS/IS A FAILURE, the yourba intellectuals in AD/AFENIFERE kept screaming that OBJ, ruined Nigeria, as a military president and that he'll repeat it again, and he just did. An economist, Chief Olu falae, was the candidate most yourba's wanted/voted, now compare Falae to a military ruler with no HIGHER EDUCATION whatsoever.

Obj, DID NOT WIN HIS WARD IN OGUN STATE, YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? There's no way on earth he should have been Nigeria's president if Nigeria is not a SHIT HOLE or a BANANA REPUBLIC. In the USA/ UK, ( DEMOCRATIC and SANE) that most of you loved to use as an example when it suits you, Obj,'s CAMPAIGN and POPULARITY TEST, would have exposed how his PEOPLE DO NOT BELIEVE IN HIM, THEY DON'T WANT HIM TO REPRESENT THEM and HE WILL NEVER GET THE PARTY's ticket to contest an ELECTION. As you know, most Western politicians RESIGN or FAIL ELECTION just because of MARITAL/DOMESTIC issues, CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME.

In SOCIETIES, where vote counts, where CRIMINALITY and LOOTING is not being revered, Obj, will not be considered " POWERFUL". The same way folks taught IBB, was too powerful and he will destroy OBJ, until Obj, used the POWER OF THE PRESIDENT TO DEMYSTIFY him. If GEJ, CONSULTS or send PDP Gov's to meet Obj, that doesn't mean he's "BEGGING", you folks should WAKE UP!! GEJ, might be trying to EXHAUST ALL MEANS, ( because obj made him VP and don't want to appear "ungrateful) before he UNLEASHES and curtail OBJ, just like OBJ, CURTAILED IBB, and T.A Orji curtailed Orji Kalu, Chime curtailed Nnamani, Ladoja curtailed Adedibu and how other INCUMBENTS curtail their PREDECESSORS. Some of you may not realized, even, Gbenga Daniel CURTAILED Obj in Ogun state. FYI, nobody is more powerful than Nigeria's president.

IF GEJ FAILED TO CAGE OBJ (the sleeper agent) JUST LIKE ABACHA DID, OBJ, WILL HELP GEJ TO GET ABACHA's TREATMENT. GEJ SHOULD COME UP WITH ANY CHARGES AND JAIL OBJ BEFORE ITS TOO LATE ( the surprise will hatch the international plot against GEJ).

Out of all the INTELLECTUALS and BRIGHT MINDS that worked with Obasanjo, for 8 years, that FAILURE couldn't see any VISIONARY dude to handover Nigeria to, it was Yar'adua and Jonathan?? And all of a sudden Obj, mean well for Nigeria?? History will Judge him and his OFFSPRING WILL BE ASHAMED TO USE HIS LAST NAME, JUST LIKE THE Taylor's, Doe's, Amin's Gadafi's, etc, have buried their head in shame at the global stage.

FYI, the way Nigeria's time bomb is ticking, GEJ, YARDUA, OBJ, IBB, ABDUSALAMI, ANENIH, DANJUMA, and their ilk will escape with their private jets, but I can assure you that their KIDS and GRAND KIDS will be so ASHAMED BOOED and DISGRACED whenever that LAST NAME is being mentioned. Whether PDP or APC wins, Nigeria, will never be the same again.

Now, when some of you TALK TRASH about Ubah, ( the dude that owns Capital Oil), you forget to realize that you produce the same OVERNIGHT BILLIONAIRES, and UNETHICAL ROGUES that became rich at the expense of your misery and their RELATIONSHIP with the power brokers. In the eyes of any FAIR MIND, Ifeanyi Ubah, is the Igbo version of Femi Otedola, Dangote, Dantata, Tukur, Isyaku Rabiu, and all other " OIL and GAS BILLIONAIRES " that helped Nigeria to become the only OPEC country that CANNOT refine its products locally. You praise a SEAMSTRESS and ROGUE like Fola Alakija, and you want to talk trash about Ngozi Iweala ?? Alakija, made clothes for rogues that ruled nigeria and they rewarded her with oil wells that belonged to the public, she made money, and forbes listed her, TO AN AN OBJECTIVE MIND, she's in the SAME CLASS with Tompolo, Asari, Bola Shagaya and their ilk that got rewarded with oil blocks by their allies in power.

Forbes list of RICH people in SANE countries is filled with INVENTORS that changed the world, FOUNDERS OF TECHNOLOGIES THAT MADE THE 21 CENTURY WHAT IT IS, ENTREPRENEURS THAT NEVER HAD ANY LINK WITH White House or No. 10 Downing street, the Western billionaires exported their INGENUITY to all corners of this world, but look at Nigeria's so called "Forbes List," filled with ROGUES and OIL WELL FRONTS" for past presidents, claiming to be manufactures, Dangote, Femi, Alakija, Rabiu, Adenuga, Kalu, etc. Each "billionaire" in Nigeria, is sitting on STATE OWNED RESOURCES. Take away the oil well from Adenuga, Otedola, Dantata, Danujma, Alakija, Dangote, Mei-Deribe, Atiku, and their ilk , then return it to the RIGHTFUL OWNER, ( FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA), then, present these folks to the world again, and lets see how much they have made from their " SMARTNESS".

Saudi and USA billionaires, represents CLEAN MONEY and it reflects in the STANDARD OF LIVING in their societies. Look at your billionaires and their "private jet" and look around your neighborhood, an OBJECTIVE mind will know that SOMETHING IS NOT JUST RIGHT.

Ifeanyi Ubah's TANoid or whatever organization he's using to support GEJ, is not different from what Arisekola's SERVITUDE to the Northern Military ( BETRAYAL) and that was why OAU or IFE students ATTACKED and VANDALIZED his armored car. Adedibu, played the same role TANoid is playing now. Hundreds of NADECO and AFENIFERE members sang Abacha and IBB's praises too. FYI, Kola Abiola, ( MKO's first son) expressed his DISAPPOINTMENT in the so called Yourba elders, how they will protest about JUNE 12, in the day time and when it gets DARK, they'll go to IBB and Abacha to collect money. Ifeanyi Uba is doing what Chief Akintola and Fedrick Fasheun, did in the past, if you know what I mean.

Buhari's footsoldiers destroyed properties of many prominent Northerners simply because they did what Ifeanyi Ubah, is doing now. Dangote, crashed the price of his cement, that's his own TANoid supporting the GOVERNMENT IN POWER. Every tribe have their own Ifenayi Ubah, right from the military days. Ubah owes debt, just like Dangote and hundreds of othe business men in Nigeria

Whenever, I read some of your comments about how your State is " MORE DEVELOPED " by Igbo states, I laughed and laughed it off, and It will prove that whoever wrote that is a SUPER VILLAGE CHAMPION that has never visited the EAST, neither has the person touched down in any DEVELOPED LOCAL COUNCIL OR COUNTY IN SANE COUNTRIES. You saw pictures of Aba on NL, and ignorance filled your head rite?

Fact: If you have lived in any SANE/ DEVELOPED SOCIETY, you will know that all the corners of Nigeria, is a HELL HOLE, right from Murtala airport. If you doubt me, why is that any Nigeria that can afford it, POLITICIANS, CELEBRITIES, BUSINESSMEN ,etc that are from your so called " DEVELOPED" states, is always in USA, EUROPE, DUBAI, SEYCHELLES, GHANA, CARIBBEAN ISLANDS, etc for CHILD BIRTH, MEDICAL CHECK-UP, VACATION, SHOPPING, WEDDING, etc. WHY ARE THEY NOT DOING THESE THINGS IN THE SO CALLED DEVELOPED STATES??

GEJ, IHEJIRIKA, ORITSEJAFOR, PDP, and all GEJ friends are the ones "SPONSORING " Boko haram, against the INNOCENT AND RESOURCE RICH NORTHERNERS, oh poor North,. STOP BEING A COWARD! when MEND and co were bombing Niger Delta, they BOLDY Acknowledge the militancy and state what they were fighting for. Stop being cowards, if GEJ, dies or lose election, the so called group will drop their " ISLAMIZE NIGERIA" agenda.

The noise and media HYPE about " WE YOURBA'S " won't vote for GEJ, is a total BS. SW PDP GOVERNORS and SW PDP heavy weights will DELIVER their states to PDP ( when you vote, you will go home OR your parents will be calling you to come back before you'll fall victim, and you will hear and see the presidential result from the SW, just as EKITI SHOCKED you, you will be shocked again.)Election is not being conducted on NL or any other media. When will the opposition start their campaign and cover the 36 states and FCT? Even in a HOT BED like Miaidugiri, GEJ, got Ali Modu, yes, GEJ is DESPERATE for reelection, so was Obj, you want GEJ, to take things for granted? NO WAY!!

IF HE GEJ, LOSE OR WINS 2015 ELECTION NIGERIA, WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN. THE STUDENTS OF HISTORY LIKE ME, GOT FACTS AND FIGURES OF HOW YOURBA AND HAUSA ELITES RAN THE COUNTRY TO THE GROUND. I WILL NOT FAIL TO EXPRESS THE ROLE EACH ANY EVERY OF YOUR ELITES PLAYED IN CRITICAL STAGES OF NIGERIA'S POLITICAL DEVELOPMENT.

ROGUES LIKE IBB, ABACHA, OBJ AND BABA " go slow" LIKE YAR'ADUA BEEN HEROES, BECAUSE PEOPLE DESPERATELY WANT TO RULE NIGERIA.

PDP, HAS BECOME EVIL AND NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT THE MONSTERS THAT MADE A SIMPLY acronym P.D.P evil. SOME YOURBAs and HAUSAs CONTRIBUTED IN MAKING PDP THE EVIL PARTY, CONSEQUENTLY, MADE NIGERIA THE FAILURE SHE IS. YET YOU IDENTIFY WITH THESE INDIVIDUALS, SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY CHANGED PARTY or FROM YOUR TRIBE AND FIGHTING A MINORITY, HONESTLY, YOU DESERVE EVERY DARKNESS, UNTARRED ROADS, EMTPY HOSPITALS AND FAILED EDUCATION SYSTEM THAT YOUR OFFSPRINGS ARE GOING TO INHERIT IN THAT LAND. I WILL RESPECT YOU IF YOU DON'T SUPPORT PDP/APC.
My brother, GOD bless you. I reason the way you reason. White people often say that Africans are incapable of critical reasoning. The critical reasoning behind the block vote from the Igbos, to Jonathan not minding their own ( Okorocha ) is to effect the system. Yorubas do not know that most Igbos DON'T like Jonathan, but are voting for him in other to correct the system of born to rule mentality embed in hausa/fulani syche which breeds the culture of impunity and fulani herdsmen killing and burning Christian town and villages unchecked and etc.

Nice observation OP, but their people won't listen to you cos they believe a true ibo man won't point out the evils bedeviling them even when its realization is what will bring about a solution.
some igbos know OP observation is true, but most igbos know that the yorubas have this addiction of lecturing igbos ( like most of their pastors).

Without disputing fact, no place can be like home, as such no place can be like our continent, Africa. The glowing vision of Africa sound into my eardrum like the sonorous voice of birds in the sky. A continent of treasure, land of dreams and hopes, Regardless the socio-economic, political, educational, security, and cultural challenges facing the continent. No wonder, Africa encompasses one of the largest continents in the world.

It’s so pathetic that many hearts have been mesmerized and brainwashed with the misconception towards Africa as an unsafe territory, but we all forget the biblical scripture that says “all old things have passed away”. For purpose of juxtaposition, as Africans, let us assume that all the struggles of the continent will definitely passed away, and we shall all rejoice for a prosperous Africa ahead of 2063. I have a vision that Africa will be great again, I have a vision of unified, functional, prosperous and stable sectors of all Africa’s economy.

It is so disheartening that how many of us remember to say “God bless Africa” whenever we rise from slumber? Just like a good conscious American would say “God bless America”. Have we forgotten that it took the western world several years before attaining full development? Have we forgotten that in God’s dictionary, there is nothing like impossibility? No wonder, Abram and Sarah in the Holy Bible gave birth at their old age. Also for Biblical Joseph fulfilling dream and hopes to come into reality, it definitely shows that Africa will laugh last, even before 2063.

My heart bleeds whenever I have a rethink of the past on how we have engaged our fellow brothers in cold bloody clashes out of ignorant. But I strongly belief that one day, our empty vessels of love will be filled with immeasurable passion of love and the brighter days ahead of us will be accomplish. How will it be if we Africans are proud of our citizenship? Surely I will feel on top of the world. Infact the glowing vision of Africa is still alive in my heart.

It is pertinent to note that, the vision is realistic if we Africans are ready to accept the responsibility to become the change we wish to see and that’s if you and I are ready to prophesize good things about the continent, get the polity right , shun corruption, be patriotic, belief in God and every other thing shall follow.

It is high time we say enough is enough; it is high time we Africans have a clearer vision; it is high time we organize sensitization programmes in each region of the country, on the need to expose the mindset, curiosity, horizon as well as people’s consciousness towards a visible change. For example, you and I can do a research on the creation of new developmental ideas, concepts and new evolution for the realization of Africa’s vision. We should not just fold our arms and expect manner from heaven. Now arise, let’s have a rethink of the past, improve on the present and work for a better tomorrow. My vision, your wish, it is possible. God bless Africa.

and another fact is, both uses bleaching soap and cream. They are no more natural. Them no fine raech
Biological speaking, Igbos have fair skin gene embed in their dna code unlike the yorubas (that doesn't mean yorubas are less beautiful) in most part. Could that be the reason why more and more yorubas (both men & women) resort to bleachinghuh..

I look at people comments and shake my head. If truly Nigerian Govt sign any deal or agreement with Russia, then our Govt is dining with the devil. Nothing good comes out of Russia, am not saying this as mere talks. Am saying this from historical fact about Russia. Na wa, which way forward this GEJ govt. Our govt think with their anus, the war against BH is bigger than we Nigerians think or is it because it has not escalate beyond North East and touch places like south and west? If the real truth about BH unfold, I won't be surprise if it spark a civil war. America has concrete reason for not selling sophisticated weapons to Nigeria due to discovery about BH sponsors. Whoever engineered GEJ and his Admin to turn to Russia doesn't want good for Nigeria.
Africans are incapable of critical reasoning & thinking more especially Nigerians.

Time to drop Obama , Now time to embrace Putin
not so fast, Nigeria is being set up now, to become a theater of confrontations. The US doesn't import oil from Nigeria any more, they are at free will to support any side in Nigeria conflicts, so also for Russian , China, Britain and any other Power. And Nigeria conflicts are many. Biafra, Ijaw, Niger Delta, boko haram, Fulani herdsmen, Hausa/fulani/some Yorubas want power back, Apc vs PDP supporters, military, Odua militants and etc. Nigeria is doomed unless she regionalized or confederated.

Someone once told me that Late General Sani Abacha has said " Any instability that will last for more than 24 hours, there may be the hand of government inside". Can State governors organize and kill the people who elected them? Can faithful Muslims kill their fellow Muslims? But a big question still remains: Who are these terrorists killing our people mercilessly and what have they done that warrant this kind of treatment? cry cry

May God heal our country and forgive the departed souls of the innocent kids, the old, women and men...Very sad indeed.

Nigerians, let us forget about our differences and focus on nation building. A good lessons in Libya, Iraq, Somalia, Ethiopia and Rwanda is enough for us to learn.
how can we forget our differences, when an Igbo man cannot become a nigerian president.
