GeneralDae: I think this is the highest that has ever passed through Banks and official channels. Most of the previous 17 Billion USD didn’t pass through official channels but were concentrated in the black market and largely unaccounted for. I don’t think we ever got over $400 million in a single month prior to this. Storyland! 🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱 |

Eniitankorede: ✓ Most of that $17 billion came through informal channels. And government had no access to most of that dollars falling in private hand. Very little amount of $200 million and below was coming through official means. That is changing now. Most Nigerians in diaspora are now choosing official channels as the naira value has been harmonised between official and black markets. This means more dollars is flowing into official channels to be used by government to increase forex reserves and stabilise the value of naira and even increase the value of naira as compared to dollars. Storyland! Information channels even after your government had praised itself for achieving unification back in 2024? Una go continue spinning tales tire. 🥱😩🥱😩 |

They first blocked the privileges of Nigerians buying something on eBay, amazon, ali Express with their naira account, the next thing was to stop dollar payment from counters in all commercial banks, so if ur relative sends u dollar from abroad, the bank will pay u equivalent in naira, that's where the round tripping started o. Nigerians abroad started using alternative ways to send funds to their people back home. This isn't about GEJ but about reports that were published in 2024 and early 2035 regarding the same subjects and this administration |

SeaTrade: Because these remittances were sent through unofficial channels which couldn't be accounted for by the CBN. Now due to rates unification, no more incentives to go through black market routes so more and more people are coming through right channels. That's why it is prospected to grow to 1B by 2026 as more and more people join the basket. According to your government, unification was achieved back in 2024 after which it then reported that over 17 billion dollars was remitted from the diaspora. . He may have a wife, but children also benefit immensely from having their father physically present in their lives as well. That connection between a child and its father should not be measured only by how much money he was able to provide them. A father should be there to both nurture and teach his kids at the same time, all while making time to also work to provide for their kids. Such a man should probably have just one kid. Claiming he understood the importance of education and so spent so much of his time working to make money to train his kids should not win the Father of the Year award by any means. |

Your online rantings have just revealed their origin. An uncanny unwillingness to see the comic side of life. (This is pitiable). Where you birthed and groomed in a chemical lab? 😁 3. I'd be honoured to meet you in person one day to really have a healthy convo on this twisted line of your postulations. STILL WAITING FOR YOUR RUBBER PELLETS 😁😁😁 1. That only holds true if there exists no verifiable evidence—again, not delusions— for that which I supposedly strongly believe in, right? Well, no religion or tradition— and their numerous subdivisions/interpretations/mini gods/idols— has been able to present tangible evidence for any of their many claims. So, how can someone be said to work for half the world when there exists to date no tangible evidence that that thing in fact works for the people in question? PS: you and I have been through this road before, and trust me I've got the sounds in my trunk to last the whole 9 yards... So keep shooting your rubber pellets. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 1. Here's how the game has almost always been for you religious folks.... one man's god of man is another man's charlatan. That is the reason why there are over 46,000 different kinds of gods of men in the religion of Christianity alone, all of them "true gods of men" only to those who subscribe to their own brand of bullsheet... the same kind that has kept women and children existing as subdued individuals in the eyes of their gods. 2. Unenlightened about movies that were meant not to be taken seriously by the entertainers who made them? WOW....🥱🥱🥱 3. They attest, yet to this day not a single one of those billions can be considered any different from those who don't even have a god to attest to. MazzMet: ➜This same man has never called her ever since she came to Lagos, at least to know how she and the kids are faring. The church has been so helpful, according to her. It was the church that gave her transport money to come with her children. He almost collected the money from her, discouraging her from coming, but she insisted. Her first child is 17 and she's in school, studying Engineering, suffering, as the father has refused to work. The pastor has helped him secure jobs several times, but he always turns them down. ➜My sister said she’s fed up with the marriage and she’s never going back. Things have been so difficult for my family even before their arrival, now she came with her children to complicate things and make it worse. Her daughter always disturbs her on the phone, crying and asking for money, and she has no money. I wonder who advised the poor girl to sit for jamb and enrolled in school. I was forced to send ₦5,000 from the ₦12,500 in my account. I have been having sleepless nights about my sister situation. How I wish she listened to our late father, how I wish she had listened to the family. Her children cried to bed last night without food. School will resume in two weeks’ time, what would be their fate? The day I set eyes on my sister, I couldn’t recognize her. She looked pale and worn out. Someone who’s not 40 yet. My mother is so heartbroken. All these break my heart. Sadly, your sister's story is not unique or new, as there are 10s of millions of Nigerian women whose youths were manipulated and wasted in pretty much the same way since at least the last 60 years of the existence of that country by men who prey on gullible young women. These older men intentionally target young women who are desperate for love. If you look well, you might be shocked to find that the man who married your sister already had a family which he may have abandoned before going after your youthful sister— young blood—to groom, use and control until he is ready for his next target. 2. The man knew not to legalize his situation with the woman since he wanted to keep his options open for his next time. Your sister can't really do much except file for support for her underage children in the courts. He never intended for her to be able to have any power over him when she finally realizes the scam, which is why he intentionally kept her subdued and penniless throughout the relationship. So, the fact that she gained nothing out of the many years of the relationship is to be expected. At this point, what she can do is accept her errors and start her life over again by getting her thoughts and actions together. She should also endeavor to voice her mistakes to her children so they are fully aware of the mistakes she makes, both as a young woman and a woman seeking love. That way, they have enough to go on as far as avoiding making the same mistakes in their own lives. She has a 17-year-old child of her own who may also be vulnerable to other men out there looking to play the same format that her father played on her mother. She should do all she can to ensure her daughters do not end up falling down the same hole she did and having their youth and dreams stolen similarly. 😥 Another thing your sister can do is broadcast the image of this man who did this to her all over social media; she should call him out for the fraudster that he is, both to warn other women and to let them know that not only is this format real, but also detrimental to all women. She may not be able to take him to court, and he may be the father of her children, but he is a deadbeat father and a fraud of a man who deceived and used her — and probably other women out there too — for so long. Your sister can take it up on herself to call out these monsters for who they are. |
