Maybe it is because you have never really considered marriage for what it really is, an agreement between two individuals...a partnership where responsibilities as well as dividends are meant to be shared. undecided

The allowance a man gets from his monthly salary== made possible by his wife taking care of all domestic aspects of his relationship -- is not dash money; the allowance a wife gets from that same salary is also not dash money. undecided

Monthly allowance, for a partner in the marriage, no be dash money same as the allowance the man gives himself each salary, is also not dash money. It is more of a wage of sorts for all the efforts put in for that period. And yes, he out to pay back any loans he took from his wife in addition. undecided

✓ you are not wise junkie. We are talking about husband and wife here not a boss and his staff
✓ Ok now, if your oga borrowed 4k from you and later gifted you 100k, that's not your salary, do you still ask him for the 4k?
✓ Because if you do and I am your boss, I will relieve you of your duty the next day.
✓ Now a husband has given a wife 200k for feeding, which she may not exhaust, and extra 100k for her own upkeep, if she dares ask for 4k, she's an ungrateful and irresponsible wife, as the husband, I won't even talk plenty, I will give her the 4k.
But she's never getting 100k as her personal upkeep again, neither would I ever ask her for any money.
What level of entitlement mentality is that?
1 So, you think a husband does a wife a favor when he gives her money for her own upkeep in the relationship while he obviously takes out money for his own upkeep in the relationship as well? undecided

2. Gifted? You think that money a husband gives his wife for her upkeep is a gift? Are you certain you are OK? So, when your parentis gave you allowance as a child, you regarded that as a gift? undecided

3. I wouldn't want to work with an incompetent individual who does not realize that loans are meant to be repaid, not wiggled out of because because I also get paid a deserved allowance/ salary/bonus. undecided

4. I honestly blame women who engage little minded individuals in the name of marriage. The situation is almost guaranteed to end up pathetic one for them 😩

imagine a man thinking the allowance he gives his own wife is more a gift than payment she deserves for her part in the marriage;the same man will have no problems giving himself all the allowance he desires by the way, all while considering it pay deserved for his own efforts.😩😩😩😩

✓ Where in my post did I write that suicide is foreign to Nigerians? My post or the topic has nothing to do with Nigerians. Learn to comprehend simple sentences. I was only clarifying that these white people should not blame science or technology. They commit suicide like it's nothing. I only cited one of their reason. They always look for excuses for the reason they commit suicide.
✓ There is a reason the child was suicidal and it's a shame the parents couldn't notice it because of the system. Now they are blaming AI. In those days they blame it on Rock music.
✓ Again learn to comprehend simple sentences. My post has nothing to do with Nigerians not been suicidal. The boy parents should take responsibility.
✓ That's my point. But you funny sha... You wrote people went to bed and didn't wake. How is that really link to all them commiting suicide? Yeah some may actually did it but can't just say all... Where is your evidence?
✓ Yeah people commit suicide in Nigeria which I know but be honest, the reason some Nigerians commit suicide can be understandable (some not. Especially those who does it because of heartbreak from relationships). The way Naija dey, things hard. If not for discipline, many for don off themselves.
People --- Blacks, Asians or Whites --- don't commit suicide like it is nothing. There is always a reason behind every suicide even if you would like to pretend that reason amounts to nothing for you. undecided

2. You say this because you have always noticed the mental state of everyone around you and have always been able to spot those deep in the clasps of the monster from those who aren't, right? :I can't believe you are actually trying to totally blame the parents in this. undecided

3. Did you read the story at all? They are literally calling attention to a potential danger lurking in all the gadgets that children are allowed access to these days, even in there schools. THE AI tool literally coached their child on the best way to tie a hang man's knot for effective result -- death -- , this after convincing him of the rightness of suicide in his case, in addition to helping him write his suicide note. What of that is safe for children to be exposed to? undecided

You mention those who formerly blamed Rock music but conveniently forgot to mention that it is thanks to those cries that today we now have classification system to help keep nature music out of the hands of children with appropriate warnings too. undecided

4. Take responsibility because you have determined as judge you are that they were responsible for his illness which lead him to commit suicide with the aide of AI tools? undecided

5. Because conveniently, you have determined that these the only reasons why a Nigerian would commit suicide and people in other places could never understand or have the same reasons? huh

As far as you are concerned, the life is hard argument as well as the heartbreak situation only applies is excuse for Nigerian suicides, abi? undecided

➜Ukwa contains protein this milky like form when you are thrpugh stage on, it has a wet sticky form when you are washing the messy part
1 cup of raw pigeon peas contains approximately 703 calories. Of those 703 calories, 4% is of fat, 25%(44g) is protein, while the remaining 71% carbohydrates(129g). Yes, it is high in protein, but we can't pretend the carbohydrate content is negligible. So, no, it is wrong to claim pigeon beans are protein. 😏

Yes, there are many variants as far as beans, and most of them are higher in carbohydrate than protein; most plant sources of protein are similar.

At first it will looks like true love soon after 10 years wahala done start some no stay reach 2 years grin
Most times, the reason it looks like true love to those outside of relationship, for the first couple of years, is that both partners in the relationship, particularly the woman, go out of their way to present a polished public image of a perfect relationship to wow you with. After a while, fatigue sets in, and before long, the cracks start to show. Then, finally, they give up on the futility of whitewashing what has been obviously a bad match from the get-go for them. Through my teenage years and early 20s I had a lot of female friends too. Some I met and some I never met. It never bothers me to as if they were real or not.
But one thing was, whenever I chat with most, they always asked me for airtime. I always give them. I really didn't ask what they needed it for because they wouldn't use it to call me anyway 😂
So whenever I was sent to buy petrol for the generator, I always had extra as profit. Don't ask me about that magic grin I had a long list of Internet friends waiting for the airtime they asked and I just had to give them. RomanceRe: Want Do Girls Think They Really Are?? by Kobojunkie:
10thTenthMan:
➜And that’s why so many men stay stuck in cycles of emotional manipulation and quiet frustration. No one said OP killed someone, so let’s not ''strawman'' the argument, if you know what I mean. The critique isn’t about having feelings. I have no issues with anyone having feelings.
➜ From jealousy to anger, to frustration to fear, etc. It is how they are managed and how they becloud one's sense of judgment that matters. It is about how those feelings were managed, misplaced, and ultimately disrespected. Yes, he liked the girl o..Ok no problem...But he needs to stand on his value and not tolerate being sidelined, disrespected, and emotionally strung along, hoping she'd eventually pick him after dealing with other men.
➜ You say “humans use each other” as if that justifies emotional exploitation. Sure, people use people. The question is, do you let yourself be used without getting value in return? If a man is investing time, money, and emotional energy while getting zero commitment, zero intimacy, and open disrespect, then he’s volunteering for his own downfall. That’s not noble. At all. That is simply self-inflicted foolishness.
➜ No one said she owes him love. Who can force love biko? But he also doesn’t owe her provision either. Reciprocity is the baseline of healthy interaction. If she’s free to chase other men, fine. But don’t sit in another man’s house cooking and collecting money while talking to your real interest on the phone. That’s disrespect, and he was right to walk away.
➜ The message is not that women owe men relationships. No one owes you anything. It’s that men owe themselves dignity. The emotionally damaged ones are the men who keep hoping loyalty will be rewarded, even when the woman has made it clear he’s just a safety net. And men who defend that behavior under the guise of “being human” are justifying weakness and codependency. Men need to stop romanticizing disrespect just because they’re afraid to admit when a woman doesn't want them.
➜ Please, Mr OP, I have not come to pamper you. I have posted my response. Read through all the responses here. Eventually the choice is yours. This is my final take on the matter.
1. The one psychologically manipulating OP is not the girl but OP himself. Enough of you projecting what seems to be your own victim mentality on the OP, abeg! OP literally admits that the girl does not have feelings for him, but then goes on to assume that if he is available for her, she would somehow twist herself into liking him, as if he has ever been able to do that for the women around him who have feelings for him. 🥱🥱🥱

1b Not tolerate being sidelined? Are you sure you are OK at all? She clearly did not have feelings for OP before he invited her over to hang out and cook at his place. And she still didn't like him afterward. What did you want OP to do then? Force himself on her? I really don't understand why you think this is some entitlement battle for you when it should not be any such thing. 🥱🥱🥱

2. There is no case of exploitation here. OP kept calling the girl who eventually — after quitting her job — decided to hang out more at his place during her time of unemployment. He did not say anything about her exploiting him, nor did he suggest that she claimed to love him during that time. 🥱🥱🥱

Again, learn to stop projecting! 🙄🙄

3. OP allowed her, knowing she does not have feelings for him. He literally allowed her into his space to cook and stuff with the hopes that she would develop feelings for him by allowing it. What part of that sounds like exploitation to you? If anything, they both used each other during that time. She did not force herself into his space or life— he let her in. She did not demand that OP serve her whims. He invited her into his space with hopes that by doing so, he would gain from the investment. undecided

Again, learn to stop projecting! 🙄🙄

4. Na wa oo! All this because OP tried to take advantage in the way he felt best. Again, learn to stop projecting! 🙄🙄

5. You did not come to pamper him but to belittle him for doing exactly what so many men out there in his shoes would have done, abi? Kwantinue! undecided

➜They have done the much they can. It's now left for you to decide how your own life will be. At 40 something, I hope you have your own family? The father you criticized had one before he turned 40. He had a job too, he wasn't dependent on his parents for his livelihood. Do you?
If you have a job, I doubt if you would have the time to start listing what and whatnot they did for you. You'll understand the hustle.
I believe they sent you and your other siblings to school. Try to feed and send just one of your children to school first, we want to check something.
➜Some kids lost their parents at a tender age, some others have had to live with distant relatives and suffer different kinds of abuse, yet they still made something out of their lives. But here you are, having lived (or still living) under the care of your parents, yet you talk about them in such a condescending manner. Do you know the story of Victor Osimhen, Timaya, or other individuals making waves in different sectors of the economy? If you don't come from a rich family, can't a rich family come from you?
Stop with the desperate attempts at distracting from the main issue which is that OP's parents intentionally started his life in the midst of poverty and without a clear plan of getting themselves and their children out of it; when your starting point in life is poverty, it literally means you are literally in the middle of some of the greatest disadvantage. 10s of millions of Nigerians — over 160 million at this point— will likely never see life outside of poverty because of the choices made by their parents before them. undecided

This poor arguement is becoming stale already! Anytime we bring up the fact our parents and their parents had marriages that span 50 years, people like you bring up the quality/quantity arguement and try to make it look like long marriage = poor quality marriage. At the same time, you ignore completely the fact the short marriages we see today are often riddled with the same things you see in what, in your opinnion, is bad marriage simply because it is long. And you mentioned living conditions for the wife. Again, you are bringing up that stale old feminist propaganda that the marriages of previous generations was such that the wife's condition is bad. I would like you to mention those 'bad' conditions of life women endured in the marriages of the older genaration and show that it was the norm? You think there are no people who are aware that this arguement of yours is nothing but mere leftist and feminist propaganda? Again, pure lies!
This whole idea of women being victims in older marriages, is nothing but pure lies meant to decieve the public about the reality of its social heritage and making it unpopular.
Mention ''what the woman allowed'' or what she was ''forced'' into and show that it was the norm at any point in time!
