Expanse2020:1. It's not about what I believe but about what your Quran insists you as a Mohammedan should believe. Mohammed claims in the Quran that Allah sent the Torah and the Injeel, implying that Allah is YHWH of the Torah and the Injeel. If you do not at least believe that, doesn't that put you at odds with Mohammed and Allah? 🥱🥱 2. If you believe YHWH is Allah, doesn't that invariably mean that the one you were mocking earlier... calling Spartacus..is Allah and Mohammed the one who you worship is also mocked by you at that! 🥱🥱🥱 |
loffyloffy:1. Oh, that's easy! Most Nigerians who emigrate do not necessarily adopt healthier eating habits as a result. Many of them retain the unhealthy eating habits from back in Nigeria. Show up at any Nigerian cookout, and you will rarely find a salad or anything green and healthy on the table. 2. Look, it does not matter whether the eggs and bananas are imported from another country. What matters and is most important is that they are available and affordable. 🥱🥱 I just went to purchase 10 dozen eggs for $0.75 a dozen this past Saturday. Do you seriously think that when I was packing up those eggs, I was wondering what country they came from? Hell no! What was on my mind was instead how many different ways I can eat those eggs before I get bored or tired of eggs. 🥱🥱🥱 |
Kaczynski:I am not quite certain about the northern diet, but something else I know that seems to negatively impact IQ happens to be religion, and northerners are literally born and raised steeped in religion. So, yes, I believe the environment does matter as well. ![]() Southerners are, on the most part, not necessarily as brainwashed from childhood as the Northerners. Additionally, western style education is not as frowned upon in the South as it is in the Northern states. Add a good diet to aid in the development of strong, healthy brains and minds, and I believe there is bound to be noticeable improvements recorded in the average IQ of children and maybe even adults. ![]() |
funnyDM:Was this Olukoya a citizen of the now-defunct nation of Israel in the land of Canaan, to which the referenced statute belongs— the country, which was ceased and renamed almost 2000 years ago? 🥱🥱 |
Expanse2020:If, according to Mohammed, Allah is the same deity as the YHWH of the Israelites, does this mean then that you do not approve of Mohammed and Allah? I am trying to get an idea of how you reason Islam as one whose Allah claims to be the YHWH of the Israelites. 🥱🥱🥱 |
michjunior:She literally told you she is not interested in a romantic relationship with you. She just wants to remain friends and nothing more. So, what is the matter with you? If you don't even respect her answer to you... Don't you see that that is a you problem and not a she problem. If you are tired of being just a friend to her, tell her to leave, so she can go find herself another shoulder to cry on. 🥱🥱🥱 |
AntiChristian:1. Is Gustave's opinion a reason for why slavery should be allowed to continue to exist in this day and age, or something? ![]() 2. I can't speak for the man Paul or the religion of Christianity. I am only here about what Mohammed's Allah referred to as the Torah (The Book of the Law and the Prophets) and the Injeel(The Gospels) — Paul's letters are not part of the Injeel. And other collections of Scripture do not include Paul's letters or the letters of any of the other disciples. So, I am not certain why you feel those letters constitute Scripture when Allah of the Mohammedans and Mohammed himself did not seem to suggest them to be any such. 🥱🥱🥱 3. Well, it should be since in Mohammed's Quran, Allah is stated to have said that he inspired, preserved, and authorized the Torah and the Injeel. So, knowing what is not to be included is of the essence. Paul never said in any of his letters that his word is scripture— the living, breathing word of YHWH—, nor did he allude to his words being sent down from YHWH to men. ![]() 4. Oh wow! "The same Paul says..." Are you in some way insinuating that Mohammed was wrong in insisting that Allah only sent the Torah and the Injeel(Paul's letters are not part of the Injeel) as Scripture, since you allude here to Paul being the one who decided for you what constitutes Scripture and what doesn't? 🥱🥱 5. Yeah, they were spared for the warriors, and the law explained how those who were spared, both for the warriors and for YHWH, should be put to work in his temple, whereas the others who were left for the warriors were meant as work slaves or wives. I have yet to find anywhere in the law allowing for the rape of women or inheritance as you claim. 🥱🥱 6. That statement of yours there describes you to a T. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
Expanse2020:Are you suddenly having a hard time understanding the English language or something? ![]() |
AntiChristian:1. What in the world are you rambling on about now? Libya and Afghanistan are both countries ruled by Sharia Law — the legal system. What does any of that have to do with international laws? And under Gaddafi, though not strictly ruled since a dictator had to dictate, Libya was also under Sharia Law. 🥱🥱🥱 Libya under Muammar Gaddafi was not strictly ruled by traditional Sharia law, although it was legally designated as a source of legislation. Instead, Gaddafi applied a unique, self-styled interpretation of Islamic principles merged with socialism and Arab nationalism—the "Third International Theory"—where secular, state-controlled policies often overruled religious law in practice.2. I know the story from the book, but I am not certain how that has anything to do with you or this. 🥱🥱 3. Immense positive goodness? Sounds ... ![]() 92. It is not lawful for a believer to kill another except by mistake. And whoever kills a believer unintentionally must free a believing slave and pay blood-money to the victim’s family—unless they waive it charitably. But if the victim is a believer from a hostile people, then a believing slave must be freed. And if the victim is from a people bound with you in a treaty, then blood-money must be paid to the family along with freeing a believing slave. Those who are unable, let them fast two consecutive months—as a means of repentance to Allah. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. - Quran 4 vs 92... 89 Allah will not call you to account for your thoughtless oaths, but He will hold you accountable for deliberate oaths. The penalty for a broken oath is to feed ten poor people from what you normally feed your own family, or to clothe them, or to free a bondsperson. But if none of this is affordable, then you must fast three days. This is the penalty for breaking your oaths. So be mindful of your oaths. This is how Allah makes things clear to you, so perhaps you will be grateful. - Quran 5 vs 89.... 2. Those of you who ˹sinfully˺ divorce their wives by comparing them to their mothers ˹should know that˺ their wives are in no way their mothers. None can be their mothers except those who gave birth to them. What they say is certainly detestable and false. Yet Allah is truly Ever-Pardoning, All-Forgiving.... 1. I do swear by this city ˹of Mecca˺—Basically, for Mohammedans, atonement for sins/crimes can be obtained through the freeing of a slave or fasting for a set number of days? And attempting the challenging path involves freeing a slave? See why I said the Islamic standard of goodness—its Law—is nothing like other laws I have seen. 🥱🥱 If I know I can either free a slave or fast(the Ramadan style) for x amount of days to receive the same reward, what incentive would I have to want to free a slave in that situation? 🥱🥱 Islam is set up so that Mohammedans have more to gain from having slaves — to trade for what you refer to as immense positive goodness — than not having them at all. Then there is also the fact that Mohammedans are allowed to use their sex slaves in fulling debaucheries desires even in marriage. No wonder! 🥱🥱 4. Christianity? You'd have to look up the Nicene agreements that established the religion for yourself. I don't argue for Christianity. Also, I am aware that much of the world outside of Islam has long abolished slavery. So, are the laws that are supposed make one right by freeing slaves in exchange for good points with Mohammed's Allah a solid reason for why Islam was designed with slavery in mind? That seems to be the case! 🥱🥱 |
atobs4real:Taboo is real only when women are involved but the men are never impacted? Nonsense! 🥱🥱🥱 |
AntiChristian:1. Libya, an Islamic country, still trades in slaves. And those are purchased, not only by those in Libya but others. The reports are not hidden. 🥱🥱 2. Towing what part? I don't follow at all. 🥱🥱 3. Nonsense! Freeing slaves is a good deed. You would need to explain this to us because from what I have read from the Quran, Islam's idea of good is nothing like any other standard of goodness that I know of. 🥱🥱 4. That's because you have never actually taken time to read the book itself. The constitutional law of the nation of Israel in the land of Canaan which defines the executive, legislative and administrative aspects of life and living in the nation also included stipulations regarding how slaves and their freedom should be handled. 🥱🥱 By the way, the statement, slaves obey your masters comes from the opinions of Paul, not the Law of Moses or from Jesus Christ of Israel, the law and the Kingdom if God -- YHWH. It was an opinion given by a man. Those who obey Paul are not that much different from those who obey Mohammed's opinion, you see. 🥱🥱 5. Wrong! Slavery was instead defined as part of the nation of Israel in the Law of Moses. Jesus Christ of Israel instead insisted that in the Kingdom of God which He was King over, His followers would be the slaves/servants to do the bidding of YHWH, not men's. So, unless Paul, for instance, referring to slaves in the Kingdom of God --- followers of Jesus Christ -- then he was definitely speaking of that which is not of Jesus Christ of Israel. 🥱🥱 6. Numbers 31 does not include any information on the inheriting or raping of women. It does describe the events that took place when the Israelites retaliated against the Midianites, killing men as many as they could and taking virgin women as prisoners. It does not state that any of the women were raped or inherited as you claimed. 🥱🥱 The closest to what you present of raping of women is found in Deuteronomy 20 - 22, where the laws about the treatment of women captured in Warare is recorded. 10 “You might fight against your enemies, and the Lord your God might let you defeat them and take them as captives.7. Hypocrisy and bigotry are big words you don't seem to understand the meaning of. 😁😁😁 |
verminnel:Focus in the good... so, you are literally saying she should ignore all of the gaslighting, the bullying, and the irresponsible behaviors — all behaviors detrimental to the success of any relationship—to focus on the color of his shirt or what? 🥱🥱🥱 2. The health of the relationship is not worth focusing on in this case because it keenly magnifies the problem that has become the relationship. 🥱 3. WOW... issues that directly undermine the health and success of a relationship are to be considered flaws instead? 🥱 4. Come too far? Is the man who says he is ready to leave the marriage the devil in this case? 🥱 Why are you trying to gaslight OP into believing she is the problem with her marrriage just like she claims her husband has also been doing? 🥱🥱🥱 |
Lojical1:Pondered on in what sense? What do you hope will be gained from all of the pondering? 🥱🥱 |
Samirana360:The divorce rate in your church mirrors the spousal abandonment rates of our ancestors and the divorce rates of those in countries where records are kept. Your god does not seem to be working out for you, church people, so why continue to talk him up as some solution for those outside of your churches? 🥱🥱 |
theophorus:No sane human being would think it sensible to live with a mistake he/she made for the rest of their life. People who do that are actually people who were traumatized during their childhood. Staying in an unhappy/miserable situation is signs that one was not raised in love. 🥱🥱🥱 |
notoracism:The guy has been gaslighting you into remaining in the marriage so he can leave first and probably abandon you with the kids with nothing while you sit back claiming you will never allow him space in your life after he leaves? 🥱🥱 If you do not have a source of income, I suggest you go get one asap. Start saving up as much money as you can to get yourself a place and a life outside of married life. Make an appointment immediately for mental counseling(start working to rid yourself of some/all of the baggage from the last 16 years, which seems to be holding you back). Check your credit score to know how much it has been impacted by the marriage. Make sure all of your documents are in order. 🥱🥱 You say you don't dare to leave, yet he has already made clear that he will leave. So, you should probably spend your time better preparing yourself for the inevitable. 🥱 |
lawani:Canadians do not live longer in Canada because rent is expensive, do they? The reason given by the OP is access to nutrition .I.e. affordability. 🥱 |
IbileIfe:There is no record that Messiah Yeshua prayed that prayer, let alone doing so in Aramaic. So why live your life according to ideas that are baseless? 🥱 |
lawani:It is about food affordability if you read the OP. Affordability is the primary reason why the average Nigerian considers getting spaghetti and rice instead of maybe meat or eggs on it instead. 🥱🥱 |
lawani:A minimum wage earner can afford to eat well in many developed countries thanks to food assistance programs that provide them enough for them to obtain nutritional meals daily. This topic isn't about rent but about food affordability. Let's stop with the numerous attempts to derail from the important issue here. 🥱🥱🥱 |
ebubeson:High divorce rate have been the norm since the time of your forefathers. However, they hid these facts by different means including demonizing divorced women, shaming them into living as outcasts in community so all blame fell on them and never on the men who wronged and divorced them. 🥱🥱 |
decisive:WOW... you people hate women, but shy away from admitting it. So, the best way for a woman to get the best package as far as Islamic heaven is to ensure her husband does not make it in with her. Will she be able to have her own 72 male virgins and the libido of 100 women at that point?? ![]() Islamic women married to so-called pious Islamic men are f-ked here on earth and over there in Islamic heaven, is what you are saying. She gets to share his attention here with other wives, and even more women out there in Islamic heaven with such a man? Walahi... there is nothing honorable in any of this for women. 😥😥😥 |
sherif4owo:Mohammed said Allah promised men all of their heart's desires, including 72 virgins, while women only get all of their heart's desires, excluding 72 male virgins of their own with the libido of 100 women package. Abi? ![]() Mohammed said Allah knows best, yet even in his heaven, Allah continues to low-ball women... why? Are you insinuating that women remain second-class citizens even in Islamic heaven? Why not make their reward as explicit as Allah made the reward that awaited men? 🥱🥱🥱 |
dotunibrahim7:Exactly! And usually one day out of the entire festival period, too.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
Probz:Carbohydrate + Carbohydrate = unbalanced diet. 🥱🥱🥱 |
Rep9jaCom:Aren't we sick and tired of all of these nonsense stories at this point? What illness killed her? What is the likelihood that she was eventually poisoned by her husband after confessing to the affair? 🥱🥱 |
Pukkalolo:Marriage before now was always one head, though..the man's while the woman was a slave. (One head using the woman's head to benefit itself) That is why men went around tagging themselves the head of the family.🥱 |
Coolis:You were interested in her? I didn't get that at all from your post. It read more like you were trying to conquer her while spending just enough from what you typed up there. You entire OP reads more like a Nairaland how-it-went for someone who took tips from one of the toxic characters in this section. Those tips only work on hookup gals and not on real dates. 🥱🥱 By the way, leave this gal alone if she already rejected you. Like you, women want men who are interested in them, not trying to rest or size them up while hyperfocused on nickle-and-diming their interactions.🥱🥱 When you want to date someone, your mind needs to be interested in the person and not how much the person should spend or not spend or your money. Think carefully about that for next time. Maybe you should consider dating someone who is well within your bracket. Someone who will not mind mama put instead of an expensive joint, etc. 🥱🥱 |
thesolutions:Marriage has not changed at all. Rather, women have. Women no longer accept the standards offered by their fathers and grandfathers to their mothers and grandmother a. And that has sent men scampering. It is finally dawning on some that they would have to bring more than just a a body and promises of financial support to the table like their fathers before them used to be able to in exchange for a lifelong commitment from women they then used and abused to their heart's content. 🥱🥱 |
LagosG:Are you currently accepted and left without chains in the Nigerian society where I assume you currently live today? 🥱🥱 You think loneliness only happens to those who leave the shores of Nigeria? What about the millions of lonely individuals who were born and raised in Nigeria? Is their plight of no significance because you need to ignore their existence to pretend to win against the others? 🥱🥱 |
