nurudeen181: Everyone seems to be focusing their comments on spirits of the dead and the stories of the morgue, i guess this is why youtube is there, even tiktok. You can search some things about the mortuary. You can even visit mortuary attendant and ask them things you heard but dont believe. I didn't notice anyone saying anything about how their loved ones were embalmed by removing some part of their belly. This i what i saw the day i took my dad for embalming for he was to be taken to the village from the north. I only felt it was necessary but i didn't like it. Sometimes i still think it's a sin to burry a person who died full body by removing a part of their body in other not to make them smell along the journey, i was told some things are also placed in their body then they'll sow it back like nothing happened.. you'll hardly notice it. You'll think its an operation carried out there not knowing their stomach or intestines were removed A sin? According to what standard? What exactly is sinful about the embalming process? |

Everything about you, your being, your essence, your identity is just your brain. diamond68: ■ see this what I mean by PEAK OF WISDOM. Ok what is meant by lost is that overtime these tribes forget their identities and who they are and adopt new names for example Yorubas are now called Yorubas today. They are lost. If you tell the average Yoruba man that he is one of the tribes of Israel he would laugh at you. That's what LOST means Again with the religious gobbledegook! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Where do you get the notion that the names they bore— whether Yoruba, English, Israeli, etc.,—ever mattered to begin with? Stop regurgitating the religious narratives you have been fed all while insisting you have nothing to do with religion. The word "Lost" had nothing to do with the naming system adopted by the individuals. It instead has to do with that proclaimed by YHWH the God of Israel in the very Law of Moses of what He would do to them. The meaning is written in the book but you clearly prefer the religious gobbledegook because you are yourself a religious slave! 😂😂😂😂😂 |

Captain4Jehovah: ■ I now understand your position CONCERNING God's redemptive plan for the whole world. How I wish you had the Hebrew Bible! The word "world" does not simply refer to "lost sheep of sheep of Israel" for THE FACT THAT he proclaimed the message of salvation given to him from his Father to the people of Israel and that he sent his disciples to herald the same gospel to them. The word means Adam, the race of man, humanity as we read from him saying "we are from below" I mean the earth for John the Baptist bears a solid testimony to this thus:.... Stop throwing this religious gobbledegook at me for Pete's sake! Anyways, I have at this point more than established by way of the full declarations of Jesus Christ that what you have is instead based on pick-n-choose doctrines presented to you by your religious leaders who themselves have absolutely nothing to do with Jesus Christ of Israel or the God of Israel — YHWH. For if they did, they would regard His every proclamation as valid for Eternity. |

By the way, to further bolster the point that your reasoning comes directly from religion is the fact that your claims plug in directly to the religious notion/idea that somehow the tribes of Israel were lost— disappeared into thin air. That never actually happened! Iamblessed85: ■ No. All stand out technologies mimmick the workings of either the human body or spiritual laws. This then means that those at the helm of such inventions are well versed with these spiritual laws. I’m not talking about those who reproduce already existing technologies. I’m referring to the first inventors. I theorize that another way to define tech is to see it as a physical manifestation of spiritual laws. If you’re a medical person, you would notice that the very same way the organs and the brain works is thesame way components of devices work. Coincidence? Mention any technology you can think of and i’d tell you it’s spiritual equivalent Again, everything that is technology is coded — tangibly manipulated — by human coding. There are no spiritual laws as all laws are tested and can be replicated in labs and in many ways in the real world by human operators. So, therefore, what that means is that your supposed astral plains — your spiritual worlds along with the laws you attribute to them — are all, in fact, of the tangible human world we all live in. 😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫 |

sreamsense: ■ That is why I said you should ask your idols when you go to give sacrifice to it about: "who is Jesus Christ?". Shout the name of Jesus Christ three times in your idol sacrifice house, then; you will get instant answer on whom Jesus Christ is. Jesus Christ was born in Isreal according to several prophesies from old prophets of God, but; he was born for the purpose of saving entire world (not Isreal alone). John 3 vs 16, for God do love the world ( not only Isreal) that he gave His begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus was born in Isreal, grew in Isreal, recruited his disciples in Isreal and then send them to the entire world (not Isreal alone) to preach repentance. Jesus did not send his disciples to preach only to Isrealites, he sent them to preach unto utter most part of the world based on God's mission for humanity. Jesus is real! Stop wasting your time on idols. Most christians today worldwide were once idol worshippers that later saw the superior power of Jesus Christ. It is not easy for babalawos to follow Jesus Christ if not because they encountered superior power of Jesus Christ that are more than that of idols they were worshipping before. Stop rebranding and repackaging idolatary to fit contemporary era. Stop hiding under culture to worship Satan and idols. You can practice culture without going into idolatary. It is evil, True God is against it. Jesus is real! Ask your idols whom Jesus Christ the Son of God is. Ask your idols who is the boss between him and Jesus Christ. If you idols lie to you that he is superior to Jesus, it will catch fire instantly because it can't claim Glory of God. From the response and what happens next, you should realize Jesus Christ is real, then; decide to follow him truthfully In conclusion, Jesus Christ of Israel and YHWH of Israel are fakes who bloody lied to the entire world about saving only the bloodline of Jacob/Israel? WOW... but it is the very same lying Jesus Christ of Israel and YHWH of Israel you lot claim you believe in, abi? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |

The CBN announced on June 14th,2023, just 2 weeks after Tinubu announced the removal of subsidy on May 29th 2023, that it was going to free float the Nigerian Naira. On June 14th 2023 the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) released a press release announcing it would abandon its controlled foreign exchange system in favor of a free-floating one. The declaration has been followed by a depreciation of the exchange rate without precedent: on the 14th June 2023, the CBN’s exchange rate was NGN464.5 for one dollar. A week later, on the 21st June 2023 it was NGN708.2, which represents a loss of one third of the currency value in one week. Floating of currency is not the same as the devaluation of the same currency. Yes, Nigeria eventually switched over to devaluation after it realized by December 2023 that it could no longer handle the free fall of the Naira and as such by March 2024 the report of IMF which was submitted by Nigeria to the IMF by the way, reflected this change. However, it cannot be denied that Nigeria originally floated the Naira back in 2023. |

Such people are likely going to suffer until certain things are done to make things right. What proof does anyone have of the existence of these supposed spiritual powers? How many have you ever tangibly tangled with in your existence? 2. How many of these supposedly spiritually cleansed people have, afterward, been relieved of all dirt, ill luck, and all other claims? 3. Millions of Nigerians cannot even fathom peace in their lives because of the stress and depravation that is poverty; the rich among them cannot experience peace, particularly those of them who stole their way to riches, because of the fear that one day, they might lose it all. But here you are claiming peace has something to do with some chi? Are you for real? |

sreamsense: ■ Orunmila and irunmole that could not deliver your forefathers from being enslaved in the face of white men guns is what you still believe in. You are still moving backward instead of moving forward. Jesus Christ is real. Humble yourself, call him to reveal Himself to you if he is real and he will do that tonight. Jesus is full of love and compassion. You are still serving gods you don't know or understand. Idols that cherish backwardness. Idols don't leave in clean flats except in thatch harmlets. Nothing like Irunmole University, they hate contributing to civilizations. Most pastors today's were once idol worshippers before Jesus Christ shewed himself to them and delivered them from idols. Most of them ended up throwing aways their inherited idols and many babalawos are todays followers of Jesus Christ because they found out Jesus Christ is superior to all those idols. At the mention of Jesus Christ every knee shall bow to the glory of God. So, stop going back to idols that could not deliver many. Since many babalawos and idol worshippers threw away their idols and followed Jesus Christ, the idols have remained powerless to drag them back. Remember, idol worshippers were once the most populous in south west, but now Christianity remains the most populous in the south west and the world today with many idol worshippers threw away their idols when they they discovered Jesus power is real and superior to idols. When you get to where you give sacrifice to your idols, ask your idols who is Jesus or shout Jesus Christ three times for your idols to hear? If your idols never fall down or get angry with you; then, come back to tell me the story, but if your idols fall down or get angry at you, then; you should know Jesus name is superior to your idols. Begin to follow Jesus Christ and throw away your idols. Jesus is real, he is not a white man invention. Call his name to show himself to you, he will do that because he is real and full of love and mercies Jesus Christ of Israel is real to Nigerians who have nothing to do with the bloodline— descendants of Jacob/Israel — He said He was sent by His Father YHWH of Israel to save? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |

Blazetrailer: ■ This has been argued many times here and those who started by saying it was floated eventually either agreed it ead devalued, resorted to insults and quietly faded away. I will be more than happy to take you up on that again. ■ Naira was devalued, as called out by IMF in their March 2024 Directors/Partners report. No floated system has the Central bank selling USD to a set of people at different rates. Rubbish! Your very own government has ADMITTED to floating the Naira in 2023. Free-floating is the only way to get the Naira to free-fall the way it did back in 2023 under Tinubu. Fx control in Nigeria The CBN had maintained a complex, multi-level, pegged exchange rate since the adoption of the Naira as a currency in 1971. The system has suffered from several major structural issues. Most of Nigeria’s fx supply comes from oil exports, which has led to volatile access to international currency for the CBN and frequent shortages when the oil price falls. A massive parallel market for currency has developed alongside the official currency exchange system: most non-oil sources of fx (such as remittances or non-oil exports) have tended to be channeled through the parallel currency exchange. On June 1st, 2023 the parallel market exchange rate was between NGN740 and 750 for one dollar. Meanwhile, the official exchange rate from the CNB was NGN460.9, a gap of 60.6%. That gap between the official and the de facto exchange rates has also fueled corruption: well-connected importers able to access foreign currency at the official rate enjoyed a massive advantage over competitors relying on the parallel market. Nigeria’s fx policy has been repeatedly criticized by international financial institutions such as the IMF, which has called for the suppression of the controlled exchange system several times in the past. The implementation of a free-floating exchange rate has been one the IMF’s Executive Board main demands at the end of its consultation with Nigerian authorities in February 2023. https://trendtype.com/insights/nigeria-free-floats-the-naira-causing-a-sharp-devaluation/ It was only after the currency kept running off on its own—it reached about Naira 2000/$1 at some point— that the country decided to switch strategy back over to devaluation... pegging it back .. unfortunately, it has lost billions of dollars in its attempts to do that. I recall we realized by March of 2024 that the CBN had removed over $1 Billion in a space of days from the Foreign Reserves to force the Naira back to less than $1200, however, that didn't last long. 2. Worse, Nigeria continues to claim that the floating of the Naira had to do with the IMF which instead suggested since during IBB days, Obasanjo, Jonathan, and even Buhari days that the Naira be devalued. |

Some of you that come to comment on Nairaland are worse than illiterates. Someone in your family should collect your phone or stop subscribing data for you so you stop disgracing them publicly like this. Floated, not devalued... floated! The floating of the Naira in 2023 — Naira fell to over Naira 2000/$1—about by this incompetent administration is to blame for why it continues to fall back to the approximately Naira 2000/$1 floating rate despite concerted efforts by the same government over this same year to reel it back. |
