MYGODISNOTWEAK:Try instead John 3 vs 14 through 20 to see that the statement was made by Jesus Christ regarding the Israelites -- the same to whom the bronze snake was raised in the desert. He basically used that statement to insist that it is that very same world -- the world comprised of the Israelites(blood line of Jacob) that He was sent by His Father. ![]() |
KosiGee:I can bet that ordinary Chinese people would not have manhandled him in the manner shown in the video. Rather, Chinese law enforcement would probably have been called in immediately. Can we please stop fishing around for excuses for that which should have been done away with the last century? ![]() 2. They easily do so because Nigerians equally have little to no respect for their own country and people. It is really that simple so why attempt to lump all blame on them as if that becomes OK to do? ![]() 3. Savagely? Meaning you are equally OK and at home with the way your own leaders and law enforcement deals savagely with you and yours in Nigeria as well, right? 😩 And when the Chinese Government finally steps in on behalf of their citizens whom they wish protected from the Nigerian barbaric way of life, you all whine about how you too would like to be valued by your own government. No be so? ![]() |
1stDoggystyle:Shot by whom? Na movie you dey confuse with real life? ![]() 2. So what part of that says one can be shot or manhandled by a mob? Assault /manhandling of any kind by the same Law you quote from is a crime. ![]() |
FourQu:Even I am stunned by the many Bullsheet claims he made. Imagine the audacity of the 419 attempt 😩😩😩😩 |
Burruchaga71:the moment You decided not to fight for your stolen mandate is the moment you recognized him as your president. ![]() |
Captain4Jehovah:Jesus Christ of Israel never said this which you claim. And to your other statement regarding your churches, Jesus Christ made abundantly clear that the dogs will trample that which is Holy -- guaranteed. That invariably means that all your churches operate based on trampled/unholy aka antichrist ideas. ![]() |
Inosky:Rubbish! 😩 2. And more Rubbish! He is making unity highly impossible as though unity was ever top on una agenda to begin with😩😩😩😩 |
EmperorCaesar:Likely not or everyone implicated would likely face jail term. You do not manhandle anyone and expect to get away with it in the U.S. No one is above the reach of the law and everyone is aware of it. ![]() There is absolutely no excuse for the man handling of the man.😩 |
floss:They can't because their own cowardice is no different from that of Book Haram and other terrorists who would rather attack the poor and weak than focus their attention on the political class and their assets bought with stolen money ![]() |
SmartPolician:That already seems to be the motto of every one in the Nigerian society to date. ![]() |
Bebigiby1:Given up? These people are part of the genesis....the carrier generation -- of the problem that I described. And as you noted, their kind of psychosis is on a massive level, with near no end in sight. There is no me giving up on them as instead they have refused to fight for better for themselves. You can't force a horse to drink after you have led it to a stream. ![]() 2. Earlier, I painted a clear picture of how this problem is made even more pronounced when you take a look at life at the individual LGA levell in Nigeria. Yet here you are still insisting that some sort of partial separation will fix things. There are 774 partially separated LGAs as we speak and absolutely none of them can boast of functioning systems to date. ![]() You may think yourself removed from the mass psychosis you described earlier but if you paid more attention to the disconnect in your reasoning, you may find that you are yourself closer to it than you would like to admit. ![]() |
Tayorshd87:Why would Nigeria, a country that invests little of nothing into local production be compared in any way or form to the U.S, a country with invests heavily into local production of goods? ![]() 2. Well, the reason for that is simple. You don't produce what you need locally hence the reason why you need to import it from outside still..if cutting imports is what you desire, then the solution is simply to begin investing heavily in locally producing what you need. Those needs -- the demand for goods --- remain whether you like it or not. The key is to use it to the advantage of local industries. ![]() |
bdon123:Storyland !! I😩 |
Namigotalktru:1. When ever did Africa get good leaders? Whenever I'm history has Nigeria ever been graced with a good leader? 😩 2. Fighting China and Russia? Are you people OK at all? 😩 3. Gosh! Who did this to you all? 🤔 |
jaxxy:🤔 A zoo is in fact organized meaning their are functional laws and systems in place. |
Bebigiby1:Solution? What you prescribed earlier isn't a solution though since it has already been tried before and was found wanting. So why expect a solution from me? I merely know where the problem that you described as though as mass psychosis in fact comes from. The solution... yeah... not for the current generation at all. ![]() |
Bebigiby1:1. Mental problems are not that easily blamed on others or systems. So, no point abeg! Not every Nigerian from that system is tribalistic and bigoted even though the vast majority turned out that way, so it is a copout of sorts to try to blame it on the system when it is more of individual psychosis. ![]() 2. My simple conclusion is that our value systems in Nigeria, and much of Africa are utterly worthless particularly where it has to do with personal and societal development. The society and educational system have been wrong for a long time and that is why we rarely raise people who put society and the welfare of others before their selfish desires and goals. Even at the tribal and traditional level, the very same is obtained. It's a no-brainer then why at the national level, all we have is the same mirror shone back at society. That's been my thought since my days growing up in Nigeria and it remains the same even today. Until we reconfigure our value system at the bottom, Nigerians will continue in the same part even if you were to divide it up this very day into over 250 different pieces— a piece for every ethnic group. ![]() |
kkins25:That is pretty much what the majority of Nigerians in Nigeria live for. They are mostly carbon copies of their politicians only without the opportunity to loot at the same level. ![]() |
Mom007:1. But I am not the one here attempting to shift blame onto others though. You are! 😂😂😂😂😂 2. Then why not proudly proclaim yourself a coward and beat your chest boldly at that? That makes more sense with this write-up of yours than coming here to try to tell us it is all the CIA's fault or the USA to blame for your choice not to do anything at all. It only makes you seem more pathetic, despicable, and maybe even wormy! 😣😣😣😣😣 |
Bebigiby1:That sounds more like an excuse than anything else actually. Yes, the FG has a lot of power, however, it is not the only power in the country at all, and neither is it the government will the only say when it comes to the lives and livelihood of the people at the bottom. That you describe the average Nigerian as tribalistic and hence inordinately distracted by that which he/she should not be is to attempt to shift blame for the problems individual Nigerians have— albeit what seems a majority — on the Government. I mean what you described seems more like a psychological problem than anything else. ![]() |
Bebigiby1:1. 🤔 2. Let's for the sake of discussion pretend that this idea of yours qualifies as a good idea and this statement you hold applies, are we to believe that this great patience and effort comes from you posting this disconnected logic of yours — it is indeed disconnected from the reality of life and living for Nigerians in Nigeria to this moment—on Nairaland? Has there been any time in the history of Nigeria or Africa when this sort of galvanization has ever occurred and been classified as good by the majority? Cause at the end of the day, we are dealing with the Nigerian people here and not aliens. 😏 3. The vast majority of Nigerians in Nigeria don't even have a clue what it means to fight for their kin and kids — their own flesh and blood—let alone the future. So, is this hope of yours for this generation or for a future generation to come... that is typically what people who share the same view as you usually admit to after all is said and done. 🤔 |
ebukal67x:That country can only exist if the people are willing to fight to make that happen and stand by it. Nigerians, the people, are not interested in any of the sort though as clearly indicated by the OP. So? ![]() |
Bebigiby1:There has to exist a direct connection between this final thought of yours and the reality of things as they exist. That connection is entirely missing from all of your write-ups so far. ![]() 2. There are 774 local government areas in Nigeria... municipalities where if the people truly wished for progress, they could easily begin making it happen for themselves as is. To date, none of those 774 municipalities can boast of any of the following ■ Clean water supply to homes ■ Robust sewage and water management system ■ Effective Waste management system ■ Good schools with world-standard educational and Skills training services ■ Internet connectivity in both homes and businesses ■ Electricity supply to homes and businesses(through building of dams, use of wind turbines, and better distribution services) ■ World Standard equipped Healthcare network ■ Sturdy road network complete ■ Passenger Rail system linking at least the major towns and cities ■ Network of Libraries with free access to members of the public to support learning ■ Better prison facilities and rehabilitation programs ■ Expansion of police-community programs to help capture crimes across all parts of the state. ■ Robust Gas transmission network for the direct piping of gas into homes. , etc. And this is all despite the billions in remissions sent back to Nigeria year after year by people abroad. So, what makes you think that division of Nigeria is the answer to development at the local level where nothing really stopping that even today. ![]() |
Bebigiby1:What totally convinced you that this is even a good solution in a country where according to you, the vast majority — scattered across every tribe, every ethnic group, every religious group, etc.— are not wiling to lift a single finger to do anything to change the status quo? Aren't you sort of projecting your private delusions as a solution instead? ![]() |
Bebigiby1:1. It's hopeless pretending? Who is pretending though? The Nigerian people who have yet to lift a single finger to fight for that which you claim they want? Or the Politicians who are very much at home with things — the people's reaction and the free loot they continue to nab— as they are? ![]() 2. The majority of citizens who do absolutely nothing cut across pretty much every tribe and group in that Nation. So, who are you trying to save? A minority who really have no place of their own anywhere in that nation among any single group? COME ON!! 3. Considering what you typed earlier, this amounts to a bullsheet conclusion. Again, the majority you described earlier belong to every tribe, every religion, every group, and every divide in that nation. They have no desire whatsoever to fight for change or anything of the sort since they are at home with all that exists as is. So, why do you keep pushing these disconnected ideas as solutions? ![]() Cognitive dissonance na craze ooo! 😶😶😶😶😶 |
Bebigiby1:That makes no sense! ![]() The people refuse to lift even a finger to impeach him but somehow magically you conclude that what is needed is for the country to be restructured and divided. What is up with the way you all reason? Who's gonna make that happen if not the same comatose people who refuse to impeach the Tinubu you are against? Or are you seriously trying to say that the politician in office today would somehow grow a conscience and hand you a divided Nigeria on a platter or something? Wake the fk up abeg! ![]() |
GothamCities:1. Its you who lacks an understanding of what really took place during the so-called Reformation and how and why Christianity, even with its over 45,000 branches that have shot out since then all retain and continue many of the same doctrines and traditions associated with its mother church, the Catholic Church. ![]() 2. That is the lie you tell yourselves but the fact is most of your traditions today can easily be traced back to the Catholic Church. Even your offering collection rituals are from the Catholic church. ![]() 3. I don't need to know of a Babylonian cult as all I need to know is Babylon mentioned in Scripture and what the God of Israel accused the Jews — Israelites as well —came away from Babylon with. That religion and everything put on top of it amounts to Paganism —antiChrist — where the God of Israel is concerned. ![]() 4. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I am far from the ignorant one in these things. ![]() |
GothamCities:This statement of yours makes absolutely no sense! I simply quoted what is written in Scripture as is written. If you think that is heretical to do then it means you don't accept what is in fact stated in Scripture to begin with. ![]() 2. Balderdash! Your churches are founded upon the same doctrines and traditions of the Catholic Church. The so-called Reformation was merely a farce by those who wished to have a piece of the power and glamour that formerly belonged only to the Catholic Church. The foundation of their so-called reformation is the same foundation drawn by the Catholic church, most of their doctrines and traditions are the same, except for the fact that they claim to have been reformed. Yes, all 45,000 denominations of Christianity today, including those of the Catholic Church, all share the same functional doctrines and traditions. So, stop deceiving yourself thinking you deceive others by it. ![]() |
GothamCities:I did that earlier but you reject the Gospels as Jesus Christ made clear those who would adopt doctrines and traditions of men — Religion — would. So, your particular problem here has nothing to do with me. ![]() 2. I also did that when I pointed out that the Pagans, some of them Romans, eventually set up a religion by which to manipulate the minds of people and also gain power and prestige for themselves amongst the people of the time. They cooked up stories of all kinds to associate themselves in any way possible with at least the apostles whose stories were never again to be heard of after the end came in 70 AD. That eventually paid dividends for many of them when the religion was made the official religion of Rome by Constantine who equally wanted to get in on the political importance of the religion at the time. ![]() |
GothamCities:😂😂😂😂 Which church discovered which lies? The same churches that built their foundation on that which was Catholicism— doctrines and traditions— before them abi which one? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 2. How could they have dropped that which is still part and parcel of the belief system even to this day? 3. Taken from Babylonian cults? Religion, in the form of what is called Judaism today, is what the Jews— the Nation of Judea, the sister nation of the former nation of Israel — took from the Babylonians when they were there in captivity. And that is the tradition that even Pentecostalism upholds to this day as Christianity is famously known to be modeled after Judaism before it, the very Religion Jesus Christ is known to have condemned even during HIs time. ![]() |
GothamCities:You are not paying attention at all. 🤔 The Catholics invented most of their doctrines and traditions by way of their many twists and lies which are not found anywhere within scripture. Even the idea of the cross as a sacred symbol was invented by the Catholics. The idea of the book you carry around called your Bible is some sort of "Holy" book that should be revered and never tossed, torn, or burned... all ideas that came from the Catholics. Many of your prayer rituals, and ceremonies in your Pentecostal churches came from the Catholic traditions as well. ![]() |
