Softmirror:On Election day? 🙄 Can you people stop being dubious for once? The bread shown by OP was shared on the very day of the election with people at the polling units. These were literally hungry voters being enticed to come vote instead for PDP or APC as the case may seem right there at the polling units. How does that compare to pre-election day campaign ideas in the U.K or U.S? 🙄🙄🙄🙄
|
Newlymarried:That is a bullsheet response made for the eyes of gullible Nigerians alone.🙄 How many times you don see APC in the middle of downtown Manhattan, yet those NYPD police officers work so many times more effectively than the Nigerian Police Force can ever boast of? ![]() |
Ginomel:What is the name of this living God that supposedly saved you? ![]() 2. What does it mean to say everything moves smoothly for me? ![]() |
freemi:Take a look again at the conversation that came before and point out how exactly my response can be construed as an attempt to justify. ![]() sweetrace:... That is pretty much the same thing your politicians do, isn't it? ![]() |
Salt06:My comment was that these bandits are the same as your politicians. They are both of them wrong! So, where do you find this assumed attempt to justify a wrong by my person? ![]() |
donforeign:Consider what you said abeg! donforeign:Why did you conclude that he is more Nigerian than all? ![]() |
donforeign:How is he more Nigerian abeg? Help us understand! ![]() |
Bobloco:Why would it make sense to compare him to any of the current crop of criminals for Pete's sake? ![]() |
Mrexcell:Uzodinma did not show up at each polling boot to carry out these atrocities. He paid Imo state people to do it for him. Until Imolites stop hyperfocusing on Uzodinma, and instead go after the criminals among you who would take money from him to destroy your lives with, you will continue to be nothing but social media complainers. The same is true in every state in Nigeria. The criminal politicians use Nigerians against themselves. ![]() |
jaephoenix:indeed! ![]() |
Petalss:I already responded to this earlier on this same thread. ![]() The contextual meaning of a word is always more important when attempting to comprehend writing than any other idea one may have in one's head. The key to understanding the world that Jesus Christ spoke of in John 3 vs 16 is given by Him in John 3 vs 14.↪ While in the desert, the God of Israel sent snakes to kill the Israelites for complaining. And then the God of Israel told Moses to lift a bronze snake proclaiming that those of the people of Israel— no mention of the foreigners who lived among them in the entire tale— bitten by the snakes(condemned to die) who would choose to look up at the bronze statue would be saved from death(condemnation of death), a sentence inflicted on them by the God of Israel Himself. 4 The Israelites left Mount Hor and traveled on the road that goes to the Red Sea. They did this to go around the country of Edom. But the people became impatient.Recall that at this point in the journey, the Nation of Israel had not been constituted so the text majorly regarded the descendants of Jacob — Israelites— separate from the foreigners among them. Moses lifted the bronze snake, and those who looked at it lived. ![]() ↪ Jesus Christ, in John 3 vs 14, is written to have said that in much the same way that Moses lifted the snake in the desert for the people of Israel He too would be raised as a beacon for those among them — the people of Israel — who wished to live after having been condemned to die by God of Israel - Deuteronomy 28. 14 “Moses lifted up the snake in the desert. It is the same with the Son of Man. He must be lifted too.Two things from all of this is ► God is responsible for condemning the Israelites to perish in the grave — lost. And He, God then also sent Jesus Christ to save the same people... Israel... after condemning them to die. Same as He did with the serpent back in the desert. ![]() ► The World that Jesus Christ was sent to is the same world that consists of those condemned of Israel aka the Lost sheep of Israel. Just as Jesus Christ made clear in Matthew 15 vs 21 - 28. ![]() When one completely disregards the contextual meaning of a word or term to apply in its place a meaning or definition removed from — foreign— the text itself, one is no longer attempting to comprehend the content of the text in question. Rather, it becomes an attempt to impose a meaning/understanding different from that contained within the text itself. This pretty much goes against every rule that guides human language comprehension. ![]() This happens to be what those in religious sects including Christianity who brandish their many interpretations are ultimately guilty. Their various interpretations violate the very context and content of the texts they quote, texts all written by humans with human hands in human languages and ultimately broadcast for human consumption. ![]() |
Petalss:Why these various interpretations? Where in the book is it stated that interpretations are allowed or to be considered to begin with? What particular author of what book in that entire compendium insists on the creation of these interpretations you speak of? Why must I debate these various interpretations rather than simply accept what is written in the book of Jesus Christ and this God of Israel? Of what value or meaning is any of that exercise? ![]() Consider the following text. ![]() Edet lives in Calabar. He is 8 years old. Every morning he goes to school. But in the afternoon, he stays at home. He likes to read. His mother buys him books from the bookstore. What interpretations are necessary to simply comprehend the message being conveyed in the passage? How many of them? Why? ![]() |
Emusan:🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Keep telling yourself these things. |
CyrusVI:So, all that money they embezzle, even money meant to go to feeding, security, and healthcare, is without consequence(direct or indirect) as far as the very lives of the people they steal from? |
Emusan:I love the way you people like to think that using a translation of the text that suits your particular delusion means Jesus Christ must have lied when He said He was sent by His Father only to the Lost Sheep of Israel, a text equally found in the very same translation you use even here(NIV). 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
sweetrace:That is pretty much the same thing your politicians do, isn't it? ![]() |
Petalss:The details you seek are as written in the Book called the Bible or the Old Israelites texts. Jesus Christ is the Son of God — God's Constitutional Law in the Kingdom/Nation of God — and He was sent by God only to the Lost Sheep of Israel. These details are found in the book. ![]() |
Emusan:You disregard Jesus Christ and His Truth, but you are mightily focused on the particulars of my bloodline as though it somehow colors the almost 2000-year-old facts of Jesus Christ. Of course, I want to understand how this detail of mine matters as far as the content of Scripture established almost 2000 years ago. ![]() So, again, If I am not of the bloodline of Jacob, you mean I am not allowed to state the facts of Jesus Christ? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 |
Emusan:Wait a second, so If I am not of the bloodline of Jacob, you mean I am not allowed to state the facts of Jesus Christ? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 |
Emusan:Jesus Christ who reiterated that His Father, God, sent Him only to the Lost Sheep of Israel is merely a joker to you? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Abeg, waka pass me with your brain-damage o'jare! I don talk am say you religious nut-jobs don't have any regard for the person of Jesus Christ and His Gospel. You are more interested in the many lies of your scammers-in-the-lords, the ones you all would instead die for. 🙄 |
Melonsmasher:Una too dey like to do nothing but complain. ![]() |
Emusan:Jesus Christ, the one who made the statement found in the passage instead insists that in much the same way God gave the Bronze snake to the Israelites in the desert as a path to redemption, He too was being given to the Israelites who were condemned of His time so that they no longer be condemned. 14 “Moses lifted up the snake in the desert.[a] It is the same with the Son of Man. He must be lifted up too.For Pete's sake, the entire conversation Jesus had in John 3 beginning from verses 1 - 21 was with Nicodemus, a Pharisee of Israel. Jesus Christ was not foolish when He pointed out that He was sent to the same people who were condemned by God in the desert. ![]() Note: God did not condemn the foreigners living among the Israelites even in the desert. ![]() |
AbuTwins:@AbuTwins , The one desperate to divert here is your person. You created this thread suggesting that the particulars of Joseph's life were vital to the grand scheme of things. Then you went ahead to suggest that the story told by Joseph's descendants and people was of no use. Then you conjure up by absurd by suggesting that a story that came almost 1000 years after the original story by a total foreigner who never even encountered the people of Joseph — his descendants — is the more accurate version of Joseph's life. And you take offense when our jaws drop at the absurdity of the claim you continue to make? ![]() 2. About 1 Samuel 13: 1 and the life of Joseph, these are just stories of men; accuracy of account does not and should not matter at all. Why? Because they were not gods but men. I know this may be much for you to understand(it is a thing religious folks seem to struggle with in their many tussles to claim supremacy over other religions)but it really matters little whether Saul wore green underwear or Joseph had a rainbow-colored coat. What instead matters is the Word of the God of Israel. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 ![]() |
Beremx:Heathrow Airport alone generates 5000MW of electricity for its use. Compare that to an entire country of 200,000,000 people using only about the same amount of electricity each day and you realize how very funny that claim really is. In Nigeria, people seem to believe everything runs on Juju. ![]() |
lexxwiz:You are kidding, right? You confronted your own sister for building a house in her own papa's village and putting her name on it. If it had been a brother of yours who had built that very house and inscribed his name on it the same would you have confronted him as well? What gives you the right to decide what she can or cannot do, where she can build a house or cannot build a house, and how large she can inscribe her name on it or not inscribe her name on it? Go and fking apologize to your sister for that disgusting attitude of yours abeg! ![]() She isn't the reason you have yet to build a house of your own like hers in the village; hating on her for doing it first will not help you either. Jeez! ![]() 2. From your story, you are the one who seems money-driven... money-driven to act like a jerk towards your own sister. Even if she is indeed being a jerk about having more money, that doesn't excuse the fact that you were also a jerk to her in this. ![]() |
danvon:Lies! ![]() |
Apcshyte:The rumor at the time was that he died atop of one of his concubines...he wasn't murdered. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 And all of Nigeria, from North to South, rejoiced on that day. 🥳🥳🥳🥳 |
AbuTwins:Correct Translation? You are attempting to convince us that the story of Joseph written by his own people and descendants should not be trusted. That rather, a story sold by a man who had absolutely no connection to the timeline or people of Israel and his descendants should instead be trusted. How did you get that to make sense to you? That is what I am more interested in realizing here. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Mohammed's story comes many thousands of years later in a foreign land and to a foreign man almost 600 years after the nation of Israel formed by the Israelites— descendants of Joseph included— had been destroyed and the people scattered across the world. Yet, somehow you want us to believe that a foreigners story is the more accurate version of what happened to the man named Joseph...Seriously... more evidence is needed on how you came to this conclusion of yours. Abeg, explain this juju for us make we understand. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
Petalss:Oh, that one? Millionaire in the same Nigeria that we know abi na another Nigeria? Their millionaires are poor men. ![]() |
AbuTwins:Your conclusion won't change this fact though. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 |
Petalss:The man is probably now a billionaire after ripping off his 10's of thousands of followers out there. ![]() |
