He stressed the importance of addressing dilapidated schools and increasing student enrolment by creating a conducive learning environment.

He came to work but aside from the atrocious policies he has used to cripple the Nigerian economy(let's pretend those had nothing to do with stealing money), his office is marked by some of the highest levels of corruption ever recorded in the last 25 years. His own wife is not removed from it all, neither is he.

What I do not understand is why the Nigerian people have yet to fire this man and send him to jail where he belongs. By the time this man is done with the country, Sudan will look a lot better than Nigeria. He has been getting his hands on the Nation's oil resources and this all while in office. Yet the people shrug it all off as if it is nothing.

It is everything that promotes corruption in Nigeria and should be done away with along with corruption.

Lagos is not ahead because of godfatherism; in fact, saying the state is ahead should not be done lightly. As it is the state only caters to the rich and not the millions of Lagos residents who exist under the poverty line. It is a state that only works well for those who are well off and not for those who aren't. Is that really the Nigeria anyone really wants?

If you watch the video, (from around 21:00) he says if they only used the results from the PU where there was no rigging and cancelled the results from Uzodimma stronghold were there was massive rigging, Uzodimma would still have won. This is a PDP chieftain saying clearly “PDP and LP were not competitive in the election”

There was massive rigging in Imo but Hope would have won even if those results were cancelled. Proving my point! The evidence of rigging was there and that is my point if you rig you will leave evidence. So if he lost there would be evidence.
Hence it is difficult to rig an election in Nigeria successfully that you would not have won if you didn’t rig. Please try to comprehend what is being said!

I am glad someone brought that up actually.

Hope Uzodimna won the Imo state because, I suspect, many voters who claim not to have liked him abstained from voting altogether. Everyone in the state has been suffering from this and whining all over the internet without doing anything else about it.

Your courts are attempting to assert an illegality here and you have not learned that when these things happen, na all of una dey suffer am? Section 109 of the constitution is clear as regards this particular issue and the lawyer is well in the right to have filed the case against those senators. By defecting, they essentially invalidated the mandate given them by the electorate and should not be allowed to continue in office no matter when the issue was realized.

Let me guess! You don't in fact live in Nigeria so you think you are removed from all of these issues created by a corrupt judiciary?

It was determined to have been filed outside the allowed period and that there are already subsisting litigations on same case. The judgement did not touch on the status of the 26 as valid RSHA members or not so your question too is misplaced. Fubara is illiterate but a serving governor. You are smart...but who are you?

The Constitution does not state that there is such an allowed period though. The court is in error.

Some beneficiaries of the state government N1M empowerment are being forced to part with Mom each as kickback to some Ministry officials.
It is not clear at the moment where the money is going to or those behind the N5000 kickback which sources say is illegal.
The operators of the illegal fee deviced a smart way of collecting it using people from each group of beneficiaries to collect and secretly remit to them making it difficult know those involved.
Some of the collectors opened a WhatsApp group where they told members that the money is a compulsory service charge or processing fee to the account unit of the Ministry of Empowerment and the office of the Secretary to the State Government that worked on the disbursement.
While many are willingly paying some have questioned the legality of the payment arguing that the state government must have mapped out money for such contingencies. Meanwhile, those championing the illegal fee stand to make about N8m if out calculations are correct.

I am in shock that there are those who paid without questioning the legality of such a fee.

By the way, if the people of Imo really didn't like Hope Uzodinma as their governor, why didn't they simply demand his impeachment? There has not been a call for that in all of this time. Complaining and doing nothing else is an exercise in the meaningless.
