2. Instead of filming, why didn't they call the fire service with same phone?

The women who were most impacted by the situation should have used the energy to rally for help from all of those around. They seemed more connected to the building that was on fire than the many passerbys appeared to be. And as such would have at least asked those walking by for help obtaining buckets getting water and putting the fire out. Standing in front of the building as it burned and chanting incantations like that made me even suspect they may have something to do with the fire..

Herding while trespassing on private property is a problem and needs to be put a stop to. Open grazing does not work in today's world, particularly with trespassing laws in the books and the people having the right to own property of their own apart from that owned and controlled by the government. To assert that cattle rearers should have the freedom to use their property — cattle— in inflicting damage on the lives and properties of others is ludicrous.

This debate ought to be a national one where the people are called on to chime in. Leaving it all to these men in the video spells more disaster to come for Nigerians.

As it stand, Nigerians stand a better chance with the police now than they would if the same police were controlled instead by the state government. Look at places like Abia, Kano, Kaduna, Sokoto, Niger, Kwara, Enugu, and Imo for examples of why not state Police at this point.

Herding is herding! And IMO does not need to have land for it. It is private citizens, even whole village communities, who should focus on making it work on what is the limited property they have. The state can encourage citizens by investing in those who would be willing to use their property for such purposes.

Herding shouldn't be prohibited as instead herders should be restricted to herding on their own properties instead.

A better idea would be for the government to encourage local animal farming. If more local farmers went into rearing of cattle and meat production, on private property, of course, it would go a long way to curbing the supposed dependence problem.

You don't seem to know much about the people you mention at all, do you! The Pharisees, Scribes, and Sadducees were religious leaders just like your Kumuyi. They set themselves up as shepherds and teachers over God's people, going as far as preaching their own ideas in place of God's Law to the people.
