Do you know what that means? it means that to get back to the buying power of their money as of February 2023, for example, the old minimum wage of Naira 30,000 would need to be boosted by at least 340% to bring it up to about Naira 102000 in today's money which is approximately a starting $68. This is all talking of the beginning point of the negotiations if the NLC is serious about in fact getting the minimum wage raised, and not merely adjusted for depreciation in the Naira value.

So, Naira 65,000 - Naira 68,000 is not OK.
