They didn't strike to bring down inflation that affects everyone, but they are fighting for the minimum wage that will cause more inflation and benefit the pockets of only few. But the rest of the country must suffer so those fews can benefit? 1. These people are simply refusing to work for extreme poverty wages. The ones causing your suffering is your government and not these people. You never elected these workers and so the suffering they have to care for is theirs alone..if your suffering bothers you then fight your government who refuses to pay better for wages to laborers. Focus your angst on your elected leaders. 2. Why should they strike to bring down inflation? They are instead choosing to stike to ensure that even with the inflation they are not shortaged, and are well in their right to do so. Why dem go carry Nigeria problem for head when the current government has was elected by Nigerians? |

AbuTwins: ∆ How does this proof Mary knew Jesus was God? All these your vituperations are just mere opinions without substance. If Matthew had access to the information from Mary, why didn't Luke, Mark and John have similar access? Luke was a companion of Paul. John even wrote that Jesus while about to die said to his mum "Woman behold your son" and he said to John "behold thy mother"! When Jesus saw His mother and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He said to His mother, “Woman, here is your son.” Then He said to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” So from that hour, this disciple took her into his home. John 19:26-27 This was John's report not found in Matthew, Mark and Luke! Even if we are to reason with your view, Mary started to live with John from the above verse! So John should know better about the Magi incident! But John didn't report it. So who told Matthew? So, I was there during the 1 century, before 70 AD, to make decisions for these writers on what they could or could not write about? You never really talk waiting dey bite you. 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀 |

I created this for jesusjnr2020 because at least so far, we know where he stands and we can take him serious unless he proves otherwise. Again, God never asked any man to follow paul of the teachings of Paul. God was explicit when He instead commanded all His people to trust and obey Only Jesus Christ. He even bellowed this from the Heavens on more than one occasion. Jesus Christ made abundantly clear to His followers that those of them who love Him are those among them who would submit to and obey His teachings and commandments. NewHe: It's not about FGN but about states and OPS! I think N65-68 is OK Not even close considering it does not in any way make up for the value lost as a result of the Naira crisis. The Naira depreciated by at least 340% in value since February of 2023 causing the minimum wage formerly worth about $67.72 to depreciate significantly to just over $20.00 where it is today. Do you know what that means? it means that to get back to the buying power of their money as of February 2023, for example, the old minimum wage of Naira 30,000 would need to be boosted by at least 340% to bring it up to about Naira 102000 in today's money which is approximately a starting $68. This is all talking of the beginning point of the negotiations if the NLC is serious about in fact getting the minimum wage raised, and not merely adjusted for depreciation in the Naira value. So, Naira 65,000 - Naira 68,000 is not OK. |

So, I am not sure how N62k makes sense. ■ If the government increases it, market women will increase prices too. ■ Honestly, an increment of wages is not the answer to this crisis. But can this happen? Nope. So, you are all wasting your time. These are enough for you to survive Nigeria no matter the situation ahead. I know you get coconut head. So, keep fighting the government. No be me hunger go kill. Na you. Lol. 1. Why in the world is the aim for a family of 5 when instead minimum wage should be based on what individuals earn? 2. This is unnecessary fear-mongering? Did the same market women increase prices each time the reps and senators padded their pockets? 3. Nonsense! The international poverty line, which is currently $2.15 per person per day, is the threshold that determines whether someone is living in poverty.
