Seagodess:LOL... I have no superpowers since I am a human being. ![]() 2. I didn't see any man displaying God's "supernatural power". And if you are by any chance referring to the God of Israel — YHWH— and His Son, Jesus Christ, I am afraid you are terribly mistaken. ![]() 21 “Not everyone who calls me Lord will enter God’s kingdom. The only people who will enter are those who do what my Father in heaven wants. If that were the case— you assume this man is connected to YHWH and Jesus Christ, then what I see is a man scamming his audience using the name of a God who does not even know Him at all. ![]() 3. Since you claim to have powers, do let us know what they are. Are you able to fly? Please, I am curious. ![]() |
Seagodess:Huh? Test what powers? ![]() |
Maysdevices:Genuine in what sense? ![]() |
Maysdevices:You first have to give me name for the deity in question. I need a name to search with ![]() |
ChybuzzDD:Because African societies in general are incapable of applying common sense, abi? It is African heritage to wallow in foolishness at all costs. ![]() |
optm:Be very specific! Which of the Scriptures do you accuse me of twisting so we can examine what is in fact written and compare it to what I stated since I don't deal at all in interpretations or twisting of scripture? That is solely the purview of the religious-minded. ![]() 2. Oh no! ![]() |
AbuTwins:1. So, it was not Jesus Christ that made this statement and definitely not the God of Israel either, meaning your OP is wrong regarding the God of Israel — YHWH — and His son, Jesus Christ then, yes? I say this since you were not able to show that John 3 vs 16 contains the claim that you made against God of Israel! ![]() 2. There is nothing "holistic" about your special interpretation of the contents of those 3 verses which you conveniently pulled out of context there. The passage below, in the very words of Jesus Christ Himself, explains what the sacrificing was all about. 14-15 “I am the shepherd who cares for the sheep. I know my sheep just as the Father knows me. And my sheep know me just as I know the Father. I give my life for these sheep. The one who did the sacrificing was Jesus Christ. He put down— sacrificed— His Life and He picked it back up again— all of His very own Power and Will.... ![]() sac·ri·fice...and for His own gain - John 17 vs 1- 10 ! ![]() |
AbuTwins:Please be more specific as simply listing a random verse does not help us out here at all. ![]() Jesus Christ, the one who made the statement found in the passage instead insists that in much the same way God gave the Bronze snake to the Israelites in the desert as a path to redemption, He too was being given to the Israelites who were condemned of His time so that they no longer be condemned. 14 “Moses lifted up the snake in the desert.[a] It is the same with the Son of Man. He must be lifted up too.So, how could the above passage be the response to the question I had asked earlier of where exactly is it written that the God of Israel — YHWH— sacrificed His son? ![]() |
optm:1. That is pretty much what I do when I pray. I say it as Jesus Christ taught us to say it in Matthew 6 vs 6 - 15. ![]() 2. You are not paying attention at all to Jesus Christ, are you? ![]() Recall that Jesus Christ lived under the Old Law of Moses which operated as the Law in the nation of Judah in the land of Canaan at the time. And if you search through the Old Law of Moses, you wouldn't find the same restrictions as the one Jesus Christ handed to His followers anywhere in that Law, not at all. So, Jesus Christ had no reason to pray according to Matthew 6 vs 6-15 when the Law of Moses did not stipulate that He should do any such. ![]() However, Jesus Christ called His followers to a different Law and Kingdom entirely from that which He lived under. Yes, His followers are called to abide by His own Law — Jesus Christ's teachings and commandments —, the Gospel and the Truth of God in the Kingdom of God. Under the Gospel are the teachings and commandments which include the one expressed by Him in Matthew 6 vs 6 - 15. And we know that Jesus Christ made known that those who love Him are those who obey His teachings and commandments— not those who do the things He did. What this means is that anyone who thinks it makes sense to copy Jesus Christ is only fooling Himself because Jesus Christ made clear that His friends are those who do as He says, implying that His enemies do not do as He says. ![]() |
optm:1. Here's a very simple question for you! Point out the exact portion of the statement made by Jesus Christ that suggests this "motive" you insist upon. Be specific, please! ![]() 5 “When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites. They love to stand in the synagogues and on the street corners and pray loudly . They want people to see them. The truth is, that’s all the reward they will get.2. Where did Jesus Christ specify that Matthew 6 vs 6 - 17 —and the rest of His Gospel Law of the Kingdom of God — should not be applied in this Jerry Eze case? Where is this exemption you claimed stated in the Law that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Be specific, please! ![]() 3. Jesus Christ condemned the offering of prayers in public places. Jesus Christ made it clear that no man who belongs to Him should offer prayers in public places. What your churches do has absolutely nothing to do with Jesus Christ. So, if you are attempting to assert that because your churches pray in public it must mean that Jesus Christ did not say it is wrong to pray in public, then you are simply asserting your antiChrist stance as Jesus Christ said those who don't belong to Him would do. ![]() 4. The Temple in Jerusalem, which was the House of God— YHWH—, was the house Jesus Christ said that about, this while quoting the Prophets. ![]() 5 So I will put a memorial stone in my Temple for them. Their name will be remembered in my city! Yes, I will give those eunuchs something better than sons and daughters. I will give them a name that will last forever! They will not be cut off from my people. The temple mount in Jerusalem is God's Holy mountain. There is no other holy mountain or Temple of YHWH— Jesus' Father— Here on earth. ![]() 8 “‘But you are trusting lies that are worthless. There is no other Temple on this planet that is called by the Name of the God of Israel — YHWH — the Father of Jesus Christ, except the Temple which was destroyed by YHWH— God of Israel— almost 1900 years ago. ![]() |
optm:1. Jesus Christ, who lived His Life in complete submission and obedience to God's Law at the time—The Law of Moses—, is quoted from the very same Law in His counter to Satan. Yes, Jesus Christ ran with the very Letters of the Law as His counter for Satan. ▶ Jesus Christ's response noted in Matthew 4 vs 7 is taken from the book of the Law, Deuteronomy 6:16. ▶ Jesus' response in Matthew 4 vs 10 is taken from the book of the Law Deuteronomy 6:13. ▶ And Jesus' response in Matthew 4 vs 4 is taken from the books of the Law, Deuteronomy 8:3. All 3 responses given by Jesus Christ to Satan's advances were taken straight from the Law of Moses — the Letter of the Law. ![]() 2. I am afraid you misconstrue what Paul meant by that statement which you quote there. It does not mean any of what you think it does. And it has little to nothing to do with this here topic or conversation. As you can see from the above point, Jesus Christ used the Law to fight back against Satan, and in much the same way, His followers are encouraged by Him to abide by the Law that is Him — use His teachings and commandments to fight off temptation — so that He too may continue to abide in them - John 15 vs 7 - 11. ![]() 3. But that is exactly what you have been desperately trying to do to this point. And sure, go for it! Point me to where they attempted to quote scripture and I will show you how it was all out-of-context, same as Satan's attempts against Jesus Christ. ![]() 4. Look, Jesus Christ said those who love Him are those who abide by His teachings and commandments— God's Law and Truth in the Kingdom of God. I quoted His teachings and commandments to you earlier— the Letter of the Law that is Jesus Christ. That you think of them as unbalanced, is not of Jesus Christ at all. ![]() |
HRMK:No be the same thing your own pastors dey do too be that? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
optm:1. I don't even understand the question. ![]() 2. One thing Jesus Christ pointed out when it concerns the religious-minded is that they need to keep those goggles that keep them blind to — and removed from— the truth at all times. Here you are confronted with the fact that Jesus Christ said those who are of Him do not pray like Hypocrites where a third party can see or hear them. Rather than accept the Truth of Jesus Christ and gain an understanding of the difference between His Kingdom and that of men, you chose to downplay and even cast Jesus Christ as some sort of liar in other to lift Jerry Eze above Him. You obviously don't agree with Jesus Christ— you don't seem to care at all for what He has to say at all— so why pretend to believe Him at all? What do you gain by it given that Jesus Christ promised His standard will never be lowered to fit in any, not even you or your Jerry Eze? Why not worship Jerry Eze alone in truth and openness? ![]() |
donforeign:LOL... look at this one! ![]() |
optm:1. Are you insinuating that God changed His mind and decided that those He condemned as hypocrites — antiChrist— were in fact of Him? Are you trying to get us to believe now that God lied when He said His Word was everlasting — the same yesterday, today, and forever? 2. Argh! So, by insisting on the declaration of Jesus Christ Himself as far as His Kingdom is concerned, I mislead you? Those who love Jesus Christ by obeying His commandments and teachings are fools whereas people like Jerry Eze who publicly flout their stance against the teaching and commandments of Jesus Christ are the wise. ![]() I love the way almost all of the time, religion never fails to prove it is of the antichrist, just as Jesus Christ declared it to be beginning with the religion that existed during His time, the religion Christianity was famously modeled after. ![]() |
optm:Ok, I will bite! ![]() optm:First, there is absolutely nothing "secret" about your churches. Second, notice that the rules Jesus Christ gave were to individual members of His Kingdom... not to groups of people/cults or what you lot call churches. ![]() |
optm:A "true minister" of God would pray like the Pharisees do? 5 “When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites. They love to stand in the synagogues and on the street corners and pray loudly . They want people to see them. The truth is, that’s all the reward they will get.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 2. No need for all of that! Jesus Christ made the equation for finding out those who belong to Him very simple. Jesus Christ said those who love Him and are loved by Him do one thing and one thing only; they obey His every teaching and commandment. And right here and now you and I know that Jerry Eze DOES NOT obey Jesus Christ's commandments and teaching starting with the one noted above. ![]() You can lie to yourself all you want but one thing you can't do is change the Word of God or lie to God Himself. ![]() |
optm:I didn't write or say that which is recorded in Matthew 6 vs 6. 5 “When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites. They love to stand in the synagogues and on the street corners and pray loudly. They want people to see them. The truth is, that’s all the reward they will get.For you to think there is a way around it means you do not agree with it. For you to even suggest the statement ought to be questioned means you never even agreed with it to begin with. ![]() It is for this very reason — this need to second guess Him in His own Kingdom — that Jesus Christ called those who follow the religious leaders and their doctrines, blind people and antiChrist. ![]() |
optm:You already took it outside of Jesus Christ the moment you insinuated that a separate set of rules apart from that stated by Jesus Christ Himself specially exists for your churches. I mean, the owner of the Kingdom said His disciples will pray in secret and hiding and not like the religious leaders of the religion of His time who pray in the open and to the hearing of others. But here you are suggesting that the same Jesus Christ backtracked and somehow caved into allowing the very same religious traditions that He openly disavowed among His disciples. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
optm:Evidence of "miracles" happen every single day even outside of your church settings and without the many proclamaitions and declarations of your mogs aka gods of men? Are you for real? I only did a quick google search of the key "Woman cured of cancer" and got at least 3 of those hits on the first page. You sit back and search through other pages and using other keywords and you will find loads more stories of the same kind... people cured of cancer, and most of them without ever connecting with any of your religious gods of men. ![]() One major issue I tend to have with these so-called testimonies in your churches is that they mostly never make the news. You could search all through google for a whole day and never in fact hit any story in particular connected to these miracles broadcasted from your religious pulpits and fire-altars. I have always wondered why they never make the news. ![]() |
optm:Are you seriously attempting to INVOKE the rituals and traditions of your churches OVER and ABOVE Jesus Christ Himself here? ![]() |
optm:Coincided , you say! But the many other healings of the others in those other posts did not need to COINCIDE with the declaration of any of your mogs for them to happen. Why does this then mere coincidence serve as proof that this one miracle of your wife's is linked to the man's declaration? ![]() 2. The other woman there in one of the posts claimed she took to eating vegetables and fruits and she was healed... no surgery and no drugs too. (Just so you know there is no special cancer diet; she simply wished to believe that her diet, like your pastor's declaration, was the key to her cure.) 3. Of course it is unusual but from the fact that there are so many of these kinds of stories out there — I searched less than 1 minute and found 3 different ones, it means that they are not unheard of. ![]() |
optm:You just now did exactly what Jesus Christ warned that the Pharisees do, which is cherry-picking only those aspects of the Law which suits their particular ideas, abandoning the rest which they consider of least importance! ![]() 5 “When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites. They love to stand in the synagogues and on the street corners and pray loudly. They want people to see them. The truth is, that’s all the reward they will get.Was the Jesus Christ that made the statement in verse 6 a different entity entirely? ![]() |
Lightman300:African man! Always desperate to reduce God(and Jesus Christ) to his level never mind the fact that by doing so he invariably condemns God a liar and deceiver! ![]() Jesus Christ warned His followers to pray in secret and hiding. He told them that only Pharisees pray in the open where people can see and hear them pray. He warned His followers against setting up monuments in His name. So, how can the same Jesus Christ have a part in what your Jerry Eze does? Did Jesus Christ, who never did any of what Jerry does and never asked His followers to do any of what Jerry does a liar and a deceiver? ![]() 2. Na so una go twist bible so stay una go twist out the last truth all to glorify men and their ridiculousness. The parable of the rich man in Luke 16 was instead told by Jesus Christ to teach that no one would be sent back from the dead to warn the living of Hell or Heaven. ![]() |
Seagodess:Stop deluding yourselves! These same "miracles" you lot attribute to your Jerry Eze and his fire altars happen every single day out there in the same world outside of your religious delusions. Do a quick google and you will find lots of them there unrelated to your god-delusions. ![]() |
Mitsurugi:Your wife's story is not unique at all. These cases are not as rare as you would think and it certainly has nothing to do with Jerry Eze or his prayers and altars, or whatever. Just do a quick google of "woman cancer cure" and you find the following stories on the first page alone. ![]() https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2024/feb/07/teen-cancer-cure-god-nsw-chemotherapy-order-court https://www.deccanherald.com/science/wonder-drug-cures-100-cancer-of-uk-woman-2717586 https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2830942/Woman-given-six-months-live-claims-CURED-cancer-juice-cleanses-swapping-junk-food-raw-vegan-diet.html https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20150306-the-mystery-of-vanishing-cancer https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/19/health/ovarian-cancer-immunotherapy.html https://www.forbes.com/forbes/2009/0302/074_cancer_miracles.html?sh=4dc07ab05ad8 Don't get me wrong now! I am happy your wife experienced a miracle but like the other three stories above, and all the rest of them scattered across the world. But, it was most certainly not because of the Jerry Eze proclamation coincidence, the same way it was not the juice-cleansing diet that cured the other women of cancer. ![]() |
Maysdevices:Which God? Which Kingdom? ![]() |
slivertongue:Which God send una fire altar abeg? Na local Nigerian gods be those ones abeg! ![]() |
Chucks13:Even Jesus Christ whose healing success rate was 100% — He healed everyone who came to Him for prayer without getting a dime from them— never did such energy-burning hardcore prayer. When Jesus Christ was asked by His disciples to teach them how to pray, He taught them a prayer that could be said in less than 30 seconds. 😁😁😁😁😁😁 |
Elections:As I said... Nigerians are among the most wicked parents in the world. ![]()
|
Elections:Millions of children in Nigeria alone are homeless and destitute, without anyone to care for them. They roam your streets every day with many entering and ending up in the hands of slave traders and pimps at the end. These children did not fall out of nowhere. They were born by people like you giving meaningless excuses for why it is OK to make babies when there is no money or resources available in hand to properly care for them. Yet even with all that, you think of yourself wiser than the 10s of millions before you who have more than proven it is a bad idea to raise kids in poverty. Again, I say, very wicked human beings! ![]() |
Elections:That was the same bloody excuse you lot used almost 60 years ago while raising kids in what what be considered conditions of abject poverty, and here you are offering up the same even now that you lot are more educated as a nation. Have you no shame at all? Na by force to have children when you know well you can't even afford to give them what they need to succeed? Na to continue to dey born like rats always carrying excuse for mouth una know to do well. ![]() |
