Everybody will bite the dust one day, even you and I. So let's not make it about that which should not matter at all. undecided

Turji has been making the lives of the people miserable for many years now, and he has killed hundreds of Nigerians at this point. So, these tales the Nigerian army continues to tell mean absolutely nothing. undecided

Marketers are running away because of Naira low value. If we go by former exchange rate, fuel price should be around N300 to N450 per litre now without subsidy.
Why in the world would you even concern yourself with this former exchange rate? Was the crude oil, and every other input, used in producing the fuel bought at this former exchange rate you concern yourself with? Are Nigerians to pay their 7.5% tax when buying fuel by the former exchange rate as well? Sheeeesh! undecided

PoliticsRe: Fix Ajaokuta Steel Company Create Jobs For Youths, N’delta Youths Tell FG by Kobojunkieee: 4:14pm On Sep 13, 2024
Orabi:
The Niger Delta Ethnic Nationalities Youth Leaders Council, has called on the Federal Government to revive the Ajaokuta Steel Company, plagued by alleged corruption and mismanagement, to create jobs and drive industrialization.
The Council called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to direct the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate the issues and ensure the company's proper completion and operationalization.

The Council, in a statement by its President-General, Comrade Terry Obieh, criticized the severe lack of transparency in the management of funds and contracts related to Ajaokuta.
He noted that attempts to obtain details of spending and contracts have been met with obfuscation.
He said: “We, the patriotic citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from the Niger Delta region, are concerned about the persistent neglect of the Ajaokuta Steel Company. This laudable project was built with the proceeds of oil and gas from the Niger Delta in the 70s.
Beware of Fake NGOs and groups sponsored by Politicians with intentions to manipulate the Nigerian people to their interest. undecided

How can anyone who has closely watched the level of incompetence that is this government to date, ask the same to revive that steel mill?

■ A notorious bandit identified as Kachallah Buzu has been gunned down in Zamfara State.
Buzu was killed in a massive military operation in Zamfara, where bandits have wreaked havoc.Hours before his death, the bandit whom ZagaZola Makama, counter insurgency expert, described as the boss of Bello Turji, another wanted criminal, had called for massive action against the military. “Kachallah Buzu Made a video Yesterday calling on Turji, Dankarami, Dogo Gide, Bello turji and Others to stop killing poor people and focused their fight against the military. He is the Boss of Bello Turji. Now he has been suyanised by the Same Military in less than 24hour,” ZagaZola posted on X.
The troops reportedly seized motorcycles and a large cache of weapons. Hideouts of the bandits were also destroyed.
The development comes hours after operatives of Department of State Services (DSS) and the troops of Nigerian Air Force neutralised scores of bandits who attacked Bassa-Kukoki village, Allawa district of Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State.
These army people and storytelling ehn! grin

Now the spin is that in the latest episode, "Turji's boss has been killed,", Turji has a boss and that boss has been killed by the Nigerian army. I wonder what the title of the next episode will be. Surely, it will not be "'Turji' has been killed," because the same army has aired that episode more than two times now only for Turji to show up alive on social media afterward. 😂😂😂😂😂

If he doesn't sell 60 percent below landing cost he used nigeria and dumped nigeria...after they sold dollar to him at 400naira that'd the least he can do for the country....within a year I bought dollar 500 to 1660 but he built a large part of his refinery with dollar given to him at a discount a favour many business men didn't get...he got a land for 100million dollars when dollars was at 250 to 350naira or so he also got a free trade zone with it nigeria has tried for him he should make it worth it..the only thing we need to do is supply him enough crude and other local refineries.
He is already using wayo to tell you all that he ain't gonna sell his fuel cheap. That claim that marketers don't want to buy his fuel for cheap so he will export is him saying he will not sell cheap. So, wetin Nigerians go do? Force him to sell cheap or subsidize Dangote fuel for Nigerians? grin

■ I am saying the running cost isn't cheap,
■ now the Governor said it is part of the world bank funded project, what he should do his go to the Governor and get more funding but with the headline it looks like he also want to be acknowledge, which is okay,so his head can swell, but what is important is getting more money
.
You are not making any sense! The running cost of maintaining 200 acres of farmland? Are you for real? undecided

2. Did you even bother reading the story to make certain you KNOW what there is to be known?
Nonny95:
A young farmer named Bello Zabarmawa has refuted the claims of Governor Dapo Abiodun and asserted that he is the owner of the 200-hectare rice plantation contrary to claims that the project was funded by Mr Abiodun’s administration with support from World Bank.
Last month, Mr Abiodun and his entourage including a crew of photographers and videographers, visited the rice plantation in Magboro in the Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of the state.
The governor posed for pictures holding the harvested rice grains while his media team parroted claims that Ogun has joined states such as Lagos and Bayelsa to grow local rice, raising expectations among residents for rice to be available at affordable prices.

But Mr Zabarmawa, a special adviser to Kebbi State Governor, debunked the claim saying the rice farm was his project, according to PM News
Mr Zabarmawa was notified of the rice plantation-friendly soil in Magboro after one of his associates, Haruna, visited the village in 2019.
Mr Zabarmawa arranged to disburse an interest-free loan to about 200 farmers to plant rice on one hectare.
Given it was an untilled ground, he hired bulldozers and other farming equipment to clear the land and prepare it for planting season.
But given it was an enormous expanse of the land and project that community members including the village monarch welcomed with joy, Mr Zabarmawa was encouraged to seek the government’s assistance.

He paid N6 million to secure 220 hectares on lease and registered it with the “Young Service Grow” using “Alubarika Farms,” PM News quoted Mr Zabarmawa as saying.
He admitted that the Ogun State government supported the project by paying 50 per cent of the cost of clearing the ground and supplying fertilizers.
The project belongs to this man. The loan which was obtained from the World Bank was given by him to 200 farmers who farm the land. The land was secured by this man. As for the fertilizers, he said the governor paid 50% of the cost as well as the cost of clearing the land. That money likely came from the annual disbursement of money from the Ministry of Agriculture for the purchase of fertilizers at the state level for the support of farmers.

PoliticsRe: Successes Against Insecurity In N'west States Under Matawalle Commendable - AYCF by Kobojunkieee: 3:30pm On Sep 13, 2024
Jatuski:
The Arewa Youths Consultative Forum (AYCF) has commended the recent strides made in the fight against banditry in Nigeria’s North-West region, particularly under the strategic leadership of the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Mohammed Matawalle.
A statement issued by the President General of the forum Yerima Shettima said, in a period marked by considerable fear and violence, largely instigated by notorious bandit leader Bello Turji Kachalla, the forum recognizes the overwhelming response orchestrated by the current administration, reflecting a renewed commitment to restoring peace and security to communities.
He noted that in recent months, the North West has been besieged by a terrifying surge in banditry, casting a pall of insecurity that has affected the daily lives of countless citizens, adding that Turji’s relentless campaign of terror, which has involved extorting protection levies and inflicting grievous harm on innocent civilians, underscores a critical moment in our national discourse on security.
"It is, therefore, commendable that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken decisive action by mandating Minister Matawalle to lead intensified military operations aimed at dismantling Turji's criminal enterprise.
"This redirection in military strategy is not merely a tactical maneuver but a vital step towards reclaiming the dignity and safety of our people. The military's recent engagement with bandits has signified a departure from previous operations, showcasing a newfound tenacity reminiscent of earlier engagements when the military acted without the reticence brought on by media scrutiny".
Beware of Fake NGOs and groups set up and sponsored for the promotion of the dubious, lies and intentions of politicians, all weapons set up against the Nigerian people.

The farmer should appreciate the governor and give him due credit for supporting the initiative.
Nonsense! The reason you people think like this has to do with the way they have made you a lot into slaves in Nigeria.

Here's an example. Farms in America are heavily subsidized by the Government but no governor would dare claim that the proceeds from any of the subsidized farms belong to him or his administration or his efforts, and for good reason too. undecided
