I get what you are saying about your employer "trying" for you. Nigerians typically use that as an excuse to allow the status quo to continue without realizing that they harm the country by such pronouncements. You are right that this is indeed Nigeria but in that same country, what is been learned is that when the people band together to fight for a cause, things work sort of like they do in other countries and climes. For instance, if you and other Nigerians are sick and tired of being bilked by your employers, you can all come together to make a formal complaint and take your issue to the courts to have these employers made to account for why they refuse to abide by the law.

Again, it is up to the people to decide whether they have had enough of the same bullsheet.
