Odidigboigbo: ↪What I'm trying to say is that if actually he enriched himself with politics, during his ordeals with Buhari/APC , they would have dug out his corrupt file or tag him with one corrupt case or the other and start using EFCC to pursue him just like the way they did with Saraki, mind you, they decended so low to accused him of buying guns for Armed Robbers during that period but no case of corruption was raised. Descended so low? LOL... I am afraid I am not with you on this at all. When these people attack each other and go after each other, it is rarely as you would expect it to end. The Sarakis, the entire family, ought to be in jail with much of what they own completely seized and confiscated if indeed the intention was to bring them completely down. That is not what happened though. |

Yeah, I doubt all of that actually. Having issues does not seem to work the same as it does for the ordinary Nigerian. How many of them do you know of that have ended up in jail during any of those hard times? We should never forget the examples of Bode George, Alamiyeshega, and the rest. These things are all arrangements as far as I know. |

Education › Re: Student Loan: UNIBEN Confirms Receipt Of N24.4m For 332 Students by Kobojunkieee: 7:44pm On Aug 15, 2024 |
Fasindo: ↪ Mtchew I still don't buy the idea of students loan, why giving loan to students when you have not create empowerment platform for them for easy repayment of the loan after graduation. How do you expect them to pay back the loan after graduation when unemployment is on the increase. Subsidize education, use the students loan to create industry for them to be employed after graduation. Tinubu is a disaster with zero economic policy Nigerian Businesses and students alike complained for so long about the poor education standards in Nigerian schools. They also complained of the generally bad business policies which make job creation and self-employment an arduous task for the poorly equipped graduates. What did your Nigerian government do? It decided to increase tuition to the point that students are now forced to look for ways to pay for that very same shoddy education they had originally complained of. Guess what next? The same Government now provides students loans to pay for the same poor education. So at the end of it all, we see that the people's complaint was never resolved but their problems were instead further compounded. Now, not only do they have to deal with paying off loans but paying off loans taken out to pay for the miserable standard of education that deprived them of skills and abilities necessary for obtaining needed jobs. Tinubu never cared about the average people, even those who elected him into office. They were just a means to an end, and remain so to this day. |

Lanruze: ↪For Umar Ganduje to have remained Chairman of APC till date, shows that PBAT is not an inch serious about public perception about his Governments' anti-corruption drive. I am still trying to wrap my head around the favour Umar Ganduje did for PBAT that has made him stake his second-term and reputation for a Politically weak and battered image personality like Ganduje. For God's sake this man has a video that has been forensically audited belongs to him as a Governor stuffing his agbada with proceeds of a bribe received as kick-back from a contractor and the video is viral. its just the summary ; "show me your friend , and i will show you your future." Matawalle is still the minister of defense even with Bello Turji calling him out as a terrorist almost every week. If you are looking for where the criminals in Nigeria gather, no need to look further than the political circle that surrounds the President. 🤔 |

UdabaPrince100: ↪Obaseki inaugurates Edo Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, on Wednesday, inaugurated the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board headed by the Chairman of the State’s Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Apst. Gen. Dr. Irekpono Omoike. The board was inaugurated at the Government House, Benin City, the Edo State capital The governor said, “I can't thank CAN enough for coming up and working with me on the Christian Feeding Programme (CFP). Let me apologize on behalf of some misguided political actors who wanted to drag the good work you are doing in the Lord’s vineyard into the murky waters of politics in the unfortunate incident relating to the CFP which you have diligently and sacrificially undertaken for us. "I was really sad when I heard that some people were playing politics with the efforts you have made, making all sorts of claims that you were rebagging products given by somebody else, but glad with the response you made.” All this was before or after CAN stole Edo people's rice, abeg? |
