bestofnollywood: Pastor Jerry Eze, the visionary founder of Streams of Joy International and the widely acclaimed New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD), has not only emerged as Nigeria’s highest-earning YouTube creator but has also done so on an unprecedented scale. Through his profound impact on the digital world, Eze has amassed over ₦7 billion from YouTube alone, becoming a monumental figure in the realm of online spirituality and religious influence. The business of selling Jesus Christ really paid off for this one who has never in his life manufactured any product to benefit humanity or Nigerians. |

drmuri: ↪We support lawlessness in Nigeria. The governor of Kaduna state declared curfew to combat widespread crime and looting. Why will a sensible person defy curfew. No matter what happens, he is dead and nothing can bring him alive. Those using his death for various agendas do not love him. It is good to be law abiding. Curfews can be overruled if they violate your right as a citizen particularly your right to protest. Yes, your governors instituting curfews as a weapon to keep you from protesting is against the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land which is above your courts and your Governors. Note this, please! |

dre11: ↪Members of the House of Representatives earn significantly more than the N600,000 they quoted at the plenary session where they agreed to donate half of their monthly salaries, FIJ has gathered. During a plenary session on July 18, the House of Representatives pledged to donate half of their monthly salaries for six months to combat hunger in Nigeria. The lawmakers had said they earned N600,000 monthly and promised to release N300,000 each to support the Federal Government’s economic recovery efforts. However, FIJ has found evidence confirming that lawmakers earn more than they claimed while making the pledge. The Revenue Mobilisation Fiscal Commission (RMFAC), which is responsible for setting the remuneration of political office holders, pegs the salaries of lawmakers at N794,086 monthly. Also, a Channels Television interview with Uzokwe Ifeanyi on Thursday disproved the N600,000 claim. The lawmaker representing Nnewi South Federal Constituency revealed a screengrab of his July salary notification, revealing that a member of the House of Representatives earns N936,979.53 monthly. If lawmakers donate 50% of this amount, they would be contributing about N168.7 million monthly and would have donated approximately N1 billion to fight hunger over six months. This is why I don't understand why the South Easterners are not calling for the removal of the Ben Orji abi abi na Kalu senator who keeps playing them for fools in the senate. |

Nandap said the Service has also stepped up surveillance to prevent foreign intervention in the country. IzunnaOkafor: Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, over the weekend commissioned a kilometer-long road built by Anambra-born billionaire, High Chief Emeka Hamilton Ezeonu (Ikemba Nnobi), in Nnobi, Idemili South Local Government Area. Chief Ezeonu, renowned for his philanthropy, also recently renovated the General Hospital Nnobi, constructed doctors' quarters within the hospital premises and built security towers at the Nnobi Police Station. His contributions to the security architecture of Nnobi have been adjudged substantial by many, even as he also provided modern roofing for the Ifite Ogbeadiji Village Hall. Speaking while commissioning the road, Governor Soludo praised Chief Ezeonu for his unwavering commitment to the development of Nnobi and Anambra State at large. He highlighted the billionaire, while also commending his efforts in transforming the community through various infrastructural projects, describing him as a beacon of hope and inspiration for others Let me guess, Mr. Billionaire Philantrophist is now looking to dive headlong into politics come, say 2027, abi? I ask because this is Nigeria after all where mago-mago people dey use shine-shine things dey cover people's eye. By the time they finally enter into politics, na so the people go pay for all that shine-shine wey he give them before, through the nose as him go steal, kill, and destroy them every chance he is given. No need to look far at all to find examples of such in Nigeria. Anambra state already had money given to the LG to build/repair that very same 1km which my billionaire philanthropist says he repaired for free on behalf of the people. Where does the LG now plan to divert those funds? |

Islie: Amnesty International had condemned the use of lethal force against protesters. In a statement, the human rights group said, “Our findings, so far, show that security personnel at the locations where lives were lost deliberately used tactics designed to kill while dealing with gatherings of people protesting hunger and deep poverty.” But Muyiwa Adejobi, Force spokesman, had said while there were some instances of killings during the protest, none was by the police. Following widespread killings in Kano at the weekend, Amnesty International asked Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to establish Judicial Commission of Inquiry into fatal shooting of protesters, The agency said at least 10 protesters were fatally shot in Kurna and Kofar Nasarawa of Kano. Meanwhile, the Police still denies that policemen killed unarmed protesters. |
