How can 3 police officers with guns n a bus come to deliver a letter of invitation.. what happened to our post office system. It's a complete waste of resources and intimidation tactics. Besides they don't have to come down to pick d letter, drop it with d security man at d gate n go. A friend of mine was in same situation sometime ago. D police came n said they are inviting him to d station for questioning. We obliged n told them to give us d address to d police station n we would come, they refused n said he had to go with them. And I asked them is it an arrest or an invitation, because if its d latter, where is d invitation letter. They went beseck but at d end with didn't go with them n went by ourselves later in d day. Learn to know your right especially when u are in your safe zone like your home or office. Sure they can intimidate me on d road n make useless claims against me. But not in my house

Is this an arrest or just a mere letter of invitation? An ordinary constable could have just come knock on the gate and deliver that letter....or better still the letter could have been mailed. I know Nigeria is useless, but mails still get delivered. I live in the united states and my bank over here still sends letter to my home address in Lagos foe whatever reasons and they get it and let me know. What is the rationale behind sending 3 armed police men in a Hiace bus just to deliver a letter of invitation with all the insecurity Nigeria is facing?

I use to travel mostly with Iyare mottos then, there was a all vehicles from both lanes had to park for over 30mins before police told us the road was clear. Now the road is good. Robbers open fire on vehicles to force them to stop. We say there are herdsmen, were they trying to graze on the road or what?

What is your conclusion that this people are herdsmen? Was anyone captured and later confessed? U travel to the East and use that same road, I used to travel that road at least 15 times a year when i was schooling in Benin, asides being from Edo. Then we knew the dangerous spots, we have had to park for the road to clear a couple of times because robbers were operating on the road. It was worse b4 GEJ completed the road. Why were they not labelled herdsmen then? People come out from the bush an open fire to force travelers ro stop then we label them herdsmen. Are they trying to graze on the road or what? We have killer herdsmen but we cant keep labeling every criminal herdsmen. Its unfortunate u have been dragged into this folly!

Its called reasoning logically. We will keep shouting herdsmen while the real criminals keep getting away. Ore-Benin road is well known for armed robbery and kidnapping. Because a prominent person got involved now is why we hearing all this noise. Last week some guy posted a video of how people came out of the bush and started shooting at them on that same road, luckily some policemen were travelling at the same time and they returned fire which made the bandits take off. When that road is bad, they usually ambush on failed portion of the road, now they shoot at any car in sight to force them to stop. There was no much addo about the guy who posted the video last week cos he is a nobody. I wonder why people think prominent people cant fall victim to robbery or kidnapping. Robbers and kidnappers come out of the bush to operate with no cows is sight but we label them herdsmen. Where did that conclusion come from. Its time we Nigerians start using our head and stop letting politicians and some bitter people who wont get over Buhari as president use us to feign false hood and division.
