PoliticsRe: Dino Melaye Asks Buhari To Grant Presidential Pardon/amnesty To Treasury Looters by kode12: 10:28am On Oct 03, 2016
GoodofNaija:
It is obvious the major problem all these people have with this govt is its anti corruption posture. They want to continue their looting but PMB has not allowed them.

It is also obvious that the main problem Nigeria has is corruption. If corruption is curbed, a lot of things will start to function properly including the economy.

But they want to continue to loot and still want the economy to function.

You can imagine a senator asking for pardon for looters huh

What will be the thinking of other potential looters or even the common man/masses huh

Shame on you Dino!!!
I personally dont like Dino as a person, but i think here, he's made some sense. How much has FG pumped into prosecuting those who looted funds? How many convictions so far? Its better they're a given a conditional pardon, than this fruitless chase that we know will end no where. And for a fact, even this present adminitration is likewise corrupt, with its own set of looters,so they'll never be able to dispense justice effectively.

The ignorant congressman was probably prodded by an ipob member to write the above trash. Whatever the case may be, he has only given an opinion and not the reality on ground. Majority of Nigerians that voted for Buhari are happy with his effort so far at fighting corruption and eradicating the boko haram insurgency. A congress man in the US will not dictate to us how to go about fighting corruption or how to go about fighting terrorists. We have our country to protect and we will go about it our way.

Nigeria did not dictate to the US how to go about fighting terrorism after the 9/11 attacks. They invaded Iraq without any evidence of weapons of mass destruction and without the UN authorisation. They have committed unimaginable war crimes all over the world so, they are not in any position to lecture Nigeria on the morality or otherwise of how we fight corruption and secure our country. If the dasugate scandal is to happen in US, will the congressman be talking this same poo? Though I believe the Obama administration will definitely ignore the congress man's trashy letter, Nigerians need not to worry. If US refuse to sell weapons to us, we will buy from Russia and China.
Stop attacking the senator and say the truth for once. We are not tAlking about the U.S here or wether or not the Senator has the moral right to say what he wrote, but are you going to deny the truthfulness of what he said? C'mon don't be such a sycophant.

FamilyRe: Woman Slaps Husband At LUTH Car Park Over Unclad Photo On His Phone (snapshots) by kode12: 11:28pm On Aug 07, 2016
I have a completely different angle about this whole incident and its about the owner of that twitter handle. The wife saw a nude pic on her husband's phone and probably out of anger slapped the husband, who didnt return the slap because,he probably knows he's messed up so just decided to keep mute. Was the wife right to hit the man? Well maybe yes or no,it depends. Was the man stupid for not returning and dealing with the wife on the spot? Thats also another question. But look at how the owner of that twitter account puts the whole scene together. Making the man look like a complete idiot and worthless being because he didnt hit her back, saying it probably wasnt the first time she's hitting him and he probably doesnt have the capacity to take care of his household, all cos the wife slapped him.If the man had gone ahead to slap the woman back in return, you'll still be the same person calling him a animal,a brute,a weakling who cant face other men,but chose to show his prowess by beating the wife. Really, what do women want from men? They keep pushing men subtly to the very edge and when the man finally snaps and unleashes the brute in him for the whole world to see, nobody blames the millions of women who have consistently attacked and tried to diminish his manhood in the past.Sad
