1.Identify corpse

2.Rape kit...swab and keep for DNA

3.Swab corpse for fingerprints.....and palm prints.Get blood for toxicology screen.

4.Collect all fibers.....all fibers....

5.Round up the usual suspects.

6. Compare suspect's DNA ,fingerprints , etc to those found on the crime scene.

7.Investigate all known associates, friends, enemies of the young victim. If she had a rich or even poor boyfriend or two....investigate them...and eliminate them...alibis, etc.

8.You will get your man or woman eventually.
