do4luv14: Actually it was a mistake on the part of Enyimba Secretary, , Innocent was Slotted Square Number 5, instead of his number 3, a mistake by their Secretary,
Already the numbers had be submitted to CAF, before the match, even his number jersey is there, but they cannot use it, hence that rushly done Jersey Kanu Nwankwo should sit up |

ChrisKels: I don't really understand what is wrong with some of you in here, and who are these 20 olodos that pressed the "like" button to this biased post?
How could you draw up such a formation that would have Victor Boniface in the starting eleven ahead of a player that plays in the most competitive league of the world?
Don't come to me with that "system that works and who is best suited" crap of a talk because to me what matters most is the league a player plays in. Boniface has no right being above Awoniyi in the pecking order because Boniface plays in the Bundesliga while Awoniyi plays in the EPL, so it should be Awoniyi in the starting eleven, not Boniface. 😡 I thought pages back settled this debate. We saw Osimhen/Awo running into each other,Boniface came in second half and we saw better Osimhen, meaning Boniface must be utilized behind Osimhen and if he is not available then Boniface behind Awo or Moffi. Well, everything depends on Peseiro |

Barryseal: I tried to highlight this a few days ago with my discussion with Kog45. That little triangle of the GK and 2 CBs is very weak and not championship worthy. It's just that simple. Yes Barryseal,it seems you are right though I was like we are free to go with what we have but now am having second thoughts based on what I saw yesterday |

DABIGATRAN: Nobody has really been spectacular in GWG. I believe the Nigerian system has a way of making top quality professionals look mediocre. Some may argue that it's the same system that produced most of the players. Yes, but don't you think we could have produced more if we had a sane society? Yes the system is not working but Osayi came and stamped his authority, also Bruno came and looked convincing but some with more than 16 caps have not really shown us what they can do,given player like Omeruo relevancy till date. |

DABIGATRAN: Should Kanu sew jersey for the team? Is finidi a tailor either? Those guys just accepted to fill in those posts due to patriotism. Kanu will not provide the football infrastructure. It's the work of the government. Sir,Kanu is the chairman what Europe call club president.Kanu is in charge of Enyimba fully.Finidi is the coach fine but under their noses this was happening, terrible. |

Bannedlargedx2: He hasn’t proven himself yet, he went from rangers to Ajax and now Fulham. Bassey is definitely better than omeruo it’s just sad that we don’t have Quality CB on our disposal considering that our best CB is bassey My point is clearer Sir,I want to see Bassey telling us he is better than what we have in eagles.Yes from Rangers to Ajax and Fulham, good progression but I have not felt the impact in GWG. Are you saying Ebuehi is better than Osayi just cus he is playing in Seria A. |

DABIGATRAN: Omeruo comes good in some matches but overall his form has dipped badly. Even the first match you mentioned he was directly responsible for Messi's goal. Sir,you said Messi wey Dey give world class defenders wotowoto but Bassey flopped against Balde of Guinea Bissau. |

Bannedlargedx2: Lucky my nyash. The likes of omeruo, ekong, awaziem, Ajayi once had an opportunity to play at big leagues or team and they didn’t capitalize on those opportunity. I believe that, we don’t have many potential World class CB at our disposal and for such reasons, bassey is numero uno for now until someone better becomes available Sir you are mixing things up here. Are you talking about club pedigree or national team? Yes playing in EPL should do the talking but as at today i haven’t seen it in his game with super eagles and I will not based my judgement cus a player is playing for Fulham. Osayi is in Turkey and with few appearances he has shown us what he can do.. |

Bannedlargedx2: If they leave you now, you will drop a premier league CB for players at turkey, Belgium, Greece, South Africa or Portugal league If it was easy playing at Epl, why hasn’t our CB been signed by anyone in EPL?? Let’s be speaking with sense on this platform It depends on what the EPL CB brings to the table. Bassey has not showed us why he should be rated than other CBs…I remember against Guinea Bissau,he was below par and Omeruo took his position in the second leg. Super eagles is not about EPL but a national team where the best are invited irrespective of the league and your performance do the talking. Sir,pls just tell me a Super eagles match that Bassey proved he was a class even as LB |

Bannedlargedx2: You guys are quick to fault bassey without investigating thoroughly because why would a coach play a LCB at RCB position? By doing such, you’re making him susceptible to Errors and uncomfortable. Sir,I don’t rate him cuz he has not convinced me for once in eagles. |

He has changed the face of the club just few months in, again reinforcing the notion that players don't necessarily make good administrators. Barryseal: Who are the best centre back pairing for the Super Eagles right now? We seem to focus only on the GK at the moment but I feel we don't have a settled back line.
Most of the CBs are old and the new guys haven't really stamped their authority.
Awaziem seems to have faded away. Ifhe had progressed, he would have been a bridge between the old and new generation and ultimately the leader at the back. The CBs are Semi Ajayi,Calvin Bassey,Kenneth Omeruo,Torunigba Jordan,Chiedozie Awaziem and Troost Ekong,so with these guys to pick from we are okay for Afcon |

Philosopher1979: Its easy. If home based teams can do well in chan and club competitions their players will be invited. Lwt enyimba do well in the african league let us get to thr semi final of chan etc and they will be condidered. Even during keshis time they did well in chan wafu cup and some club competitions I don’t think there is need for us to wait till we reach semi final or perform wonders in CAF cup before we consider our rated NPFL keepers considering the state of Uzoho and Maduka in the last two seasons, worrisome. Enyeama and Ejide didn’t performed wonders in any CAF competition before gotten their opportunities. As a matter of fact it was after eagles debuts that they started representing their clubs in CAF competition. As it stand, better to have Nwoke and Obasogie than all these 2nd,3rd Abi 5th tiers Europe based keepers. |
