Joebie: Boniface already has an assist for Nigeria, and forced an own goal in as many games. And he is proving himself week in week out with assists when he doesn’t score. You mean you are still in doubt?
Sir, he is most likely an SS for Udinese I love rating our players with super eagles performance but hope Peseiro brings the best in them |

charlesemeka85: Speaking at a press conference on Monday to preview his side's UEFA Champions League meeting with Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli confirmed that Samuel Chukwueze is at his disposal against the French Ligue 1 team. The right winger has not figured for the Rossoneri since he suffered a hamstring injury during the international friendly between Saudi Arabia and Nigeria on October 13 - an ailment that kept him out of the matchday squad against Mozambique. Chukwueze proved he is fit again in AC Milan's final workout on Monday, having completed all the exercises without any issues. Pioli made it clear that USMNT star Christian Pulisic is ahead of Chukwueze in his pecking order of right wingers and this indicates that the Nigeria international is likely to make his comeback from injury off the bench if he is given minutes by the coach. In quotes relayed by AC Milan's official website, Pioli said: "Pulisic and Chukwueze are fit. Samuel has had fewer minutes after getting injured on international duty.
"I think Christian will start but Samu will be ready to make his contribution." Chuwkueze's AC Milan career has not started as he would have hoped as the former Villarreal man has yet to either score or assist in nine matches for the Italian giants. The 24-year-old's potential return to action at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium on Tuesday has seemingly put him back in contention to be named in the Super Eagles squad for the back-to-back World Cup qualifying matches against Lesotho and Zimbabwe. Good news that Chuckwueze is fit again |

Joebie: His assist ratio is not good enough either. What will he be doing behind the CF. How do you come to that conclusion about Boniface? Yes I will pick Iheanacho till Boniface prove it in national team, hopefully coming Afcon. But I have a question and enlightenment, pls what role is Isaac Success playing in Udinese cuz his goal scoring damn too poor and as you said his assist not that top notches but keep on getting games. |

Joebie: Egbon, Isaac Success is good in his own right but only u said we are not lacking CFs on this same post. So what role do you want him to play na? I don’t really see Isaac Success as CF cuz his goal ratio is abysmal, just 3 goals for Udinese in 2 seasons and yet to score ongoing season but a very good option behind CF.Right now Iheanacho, not even Boniface behind our CF is working, though am not seeing him in eagles for Afcon just my opinion. |

Truidstar: Sir, Akinsanmiro and Eletu are more realistic but their time will come. Folorunsho and Ugochukwu have identified with Italy and France respectively. Remember we can only take 23 players to a tournament and field 11 at a time. Sir,am not talking about Afcon but for the future. |

charlesemeka85: what do you hv in midfield? Sometimes I no Dey understand…na so we talk am,Chuckwueze skill make we think he better pass Saka but it’s glaring now,Eze we thought we don’t need him but would have been a great addition,I Dey hear wetin Lesley Ugochucwu go bring, now Michael Folorunsho..oh Akinsanmiro and Eletu should continue developing instead of capping them now and see what future holds. Apart from RB and CF positions which I think we are secured, other positions are opening, good player doing it week in week out deserves eagles call up,sincerely I don’t mind having Isaac Success back |

Danielnino00: Here we go! Voting of Members of the Nomination Committee Gentlemen and ladies of the thread, it is time for us to vote for those who will stand as representatives of this thread and partake in the selection of award categories and award nominees. This year, the nomination committee will be made up of at least 7 members: myself, icon4s who pioneered the award will continue as an honorary member of the committee and at least 5 monikers from this thread. Every member of this thread is eligible to vote and be voted for. But let's keep in mind that this isn't a popularity contest. Vote for those you believe have the knowledge and passion for Nigerian football. Here's the rule for voting: 1) You're to vote for 5 monikers from this thread to join the committee; 2) Vote the monikers in order of preference, from top to bottom; 3) Points will be awarded to each moniker you vote for. Your first nominee gets 5 point, the second gets 4 points, the third gets 3 points, fourth gets 2 points and fifth gets 1 point. 4) At the end of the voting process, the five monikers with the most points will join the committee; 5) In the event that two or more monikers are tied on points, they will all be added to the committee, as the goal is to have as many monikers to contribute to the process. 6) You're allowed to nominate yourself 😉
Voting closes on Wednesday, November 8th 2023, 10pm Nigerian time.

Joezinho: Exactly. It is such a shame that for a country like Nigeria , our goalkeeping situation is piss poor.
I am a strong advocate of our scouts looking inwards for a keeper that's playing regularly, there’s Bankole Kayode of Remo stars and Adeleye of hapoel Jerusalem.
A lot of us laughed at Ezenwa when he was in the team but he never made any of the mistakes that the hideous twins have made that either led to our ouster at the cup of nations or couldn’t qualify for the WC.
I bet if Ezenwa was in goal, we would not have conceded those cheap goals.
Casillas and van der Saar will not magically fall from heaven with black skin and a green passport. Honestly our goalkeeper trainers failed us. |
