villagereporter: Sir every match has is own tactical and technical approach. The onus was on Mali to prove a point to Nigeria that “see your life” and they never disappointed but that doesn’t guarantee that they will beat SE if our path should cross. But one thing we should all acknowledged is dat there are one or two positives from d INT. FRNDLIES. Besides I av never seen any perfect team going to competition there must be clog in the wheels. My man with Uzoho😆Mali will beat Nigeria…Uzoho don buy market for insulting Nigeria fans |

Arthur Okonkwo too. Atubolu is a German under 21 player and I don’t see him playing for us.Arthur Okonkwo, well is he ready cus I see him as a keeper still developing. |

mostob: Rohr na proper scout. His only downside was the tactical aspect. Scout wey gave us poor goalkeepers we are still battling with….If Akpeyi No keep today na Ezenwa tomorrow and the next day na Uzoho and the next was Maduka from regional league, credit to Balogun and Ekong who knew they always having mediocre in goal post….time for our CBs to raise their games or else next Afcon would be worst….Abi no be the same Saudi Arabia our brother Mali beat 3-1 and some they write stories on how our team is taking shape based on São Tomé,Saudi Arabia and 10 man Mozambique. Uzoho snapchat showing Nigeria national team is going nowhere, meaning we are parading bunch of arrogant players who are not ready to accept criticism and improve. Even older players criticizing dem na to reply back in a disrespectful manners. |

AndSunGorilla: Egbon, let me respectfully challenge you sir, how did you come about your proposition? They are better, that’s the fact, playing regularly is the koko for goalkeeper confidence. I will never pick a Cyprus league bench player over very active and rated NPFL keeper who does it week in week out, just check out Amas Obasogie performance last season in CAF cup…. Enough of overrating a 32 caps Uzoho who didn’t had a match to be remembered for in national team. Also Maduka didn’t made any appearance in a league last season except two matches in league cup and FA cup and you expect me to rate the two mediocre who came into eagles unmerited from regional league and division three and yet to convince me for once. |

That awka United goalie is just like Uzoho, for Enyimba goalie I was not convinced either I don't know of Insurance and Sporting Lagos Goalie yet. So let's the sport minister try as a matter of urgency get us either Noah or Tobias Lawal Just forget Tobias and Noah for now |

Marjoribanks: Ani Ode ni. lol 😂. If it's by only tactics coaches won't buy players that fits into their system however at National team level you have to make do with what you have. No matter your tactics without quality players nor a little luck you can't win nothing and I gave you two examples. But cos you are dull you couldn't decipher what I meant. Suegbe!! lol 😂. Pls are you saying tactics doesn’t do it. |

AndSunGorilla: In my opinion, I don't think Akpom is needed currently. Just a few tweaks here and there 1) change the goalie for starters 2) in the absence of Osimhen, Boniface, Moffi and Awoniyi (if fit) are available 3) Give Sadiq some space for now, let him regain match fitness before inviting him again 4) Chuks may be better off starting from the bench 5) I think Nathan Tella should be given an invite too
One Luv and Jah Bless!!! Hmmm on JPeseiro I don’t have much to say again cuz having two keepers that will can count numbers of matches they have last season and this season none if am right….inviting Sadiq that played nothing last season showed that he was taking things for granted. |

AndSunGorilla: In no way am I insinuating that you are not a true fan, that's not in dispute in any way, you are a true fan sir. Sometimes and occasionally, certain things happen and they defy logic. Call it pure luck, not sustainable on the long term but luck sometimes shines on the undeserving. Maybe, luck will shine on the SE, odds are against the SE now but like I said earlier, I choose to be optimistic in this case. And I strongly feel it's too late to change the coach before the AFCON.
I grew up in Ibadan and the most famous sports journalist then was a man lnow.as Feyi Ogundiyile, from 1989 when Westerhoff was appointed till 1993, Feyi was on Westerhoff's case, he just never liked him. The highly successful Westerhoff played in 3 AFCONs before he eventually won it in 1994. Mind you he tool over a team that controversially lost to Cameroon in the 1988 finals. I feel we should give JP a little it of time, at least the upcoming AFCON before deciding either to boot him out or give him additional time. Like we all know, Time is a revealer of all. One Luv!!!!! Egbon Feyi Ogundiyile very eloquent man, then I love to watch his sport program on NTA Ibadan channel and I will never forget the day I watched 1988 English FA between Liverpool and Wimbledon through him, then John Fashanu was in top form and Liverpool Bruce Grobellar but it was a goal from Lawrie Sanchez that gave Wimbledon surprised victory. Yes he never believed in Westerhoff cuz he thought we deserved Senegal 1992 Afcon. |

komekn: Your club and league consistent outstanding top performances are the basis for national team selection.
Look at Bassey trajectory from Academy player to Rangers to Ajax to Fulham quality doesn't hide.
Now compare the downward trajectory of Omeruo is not on the same page and level as Bassey and never had been.
He expired a long time ago should not be in the SE . Afcon is coming then we go know who is who,dat Dey for sure |

Meliforme: THE REVELATIONS AT THESE FRIENDLY MATCHES
1. Calvin Bassey
Calvin is indisputably the number one revelation at these friendly matches. His positioning has transitioned from mediocre to excellent.
It was not just his duels, tackles, interceptions and other actions that involved defending, but his passes of the ball. He is a genuine ball playing defender. From well calculated short passes, to play progressive long balls, to creative passing. He is a defender that can create goal scoring scenarios. He alongside Iwobi affected very well how we played against Madagascar when they were both subbed in at the second half.
You can see that he doesn't just defend, he is a controller as well as an attacking threat.
He has a similar playing style to Kenneth Omeruo whom many of you do not rate. Both know how to command their area.
If Bassey continues on this trajectory for club and country, then he is definitely world class. Calvin Bassey with 11 caps a revelation against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique? |

charlesemeka85: nothing is wrong but he has to move to test himself against the best in europe before been recommended
We do not lack CDMs so there is no need rushing the young boy. He should be allowed to development his game before such call I think it’s time we give players that can do it the chance irrespective where they are,Sunday Mba won Afcon for us….reason why we need to invite Ifeanyi Emmanuel and Kelechi Nwakili just like we are having Fisayo in camp, let’s solve things fast. Am seeing us losing out just like last Afcon if things are not addressed….goalkeeping issue is there and midfield is thin cuz we can’t be having Ndidi and Iwobi alone starting,we need midfielder that can give us fluidity just like Mikel normally does it for us. |
