Hmmm Kelechi Nwakali,very different scenarios.Osimehn moved from Wolsburg to very lowly Charleroi and see where he is now. Sadiq failed in Roma and Rangers but went to Croatia league to rediscover himself,moved to very ambitious Almeria in Segunda,at the end in Real Sociedal.Awoniyi was a globetrotter,played in Holland,Belgium and Germany until he proved himself with Union Berlin,now enjoying good wages with Nottingham...i remeber and I said will Profindana provide a good platform for Nwakali to step up,which am doubting but I hope to see him moving up.

Oga Charles,I just pray Okoye comes good cos Nigeria really invested on him,a regional league keeper to national team keeper, serious a real talented keeper would have seized the opportunity,ditto to Uzoho,from Segunda 3 to world cup as number but till date Nigerians don't believe in him... Rohr did well for Okoye and Uzoho.

Okoye is arguably the worst goalkeeper of the Super Eagles.

Reason I need to dig into archive... I watched Best Ogedegbe till this era and really surprised that some don't even know Wilfred Agbonabare.The man who broke into Spanish league as far back as 1990 and kept for good six years with 189 matches.... Okoye has done nothing to be compared with any ex eagles goalie.

Okoye was one of the best goalkeepers in the dutch league. That is not a small feat. Agbonabare was nicknamed Agbonibasket, Shorunmu cost us AFCON 2000 and 2002, Dosu was average at best at Atlanta, Agu was one of the worst Nigerian goalkeeper in history! Only Okala, Best, Vincent, Opara, and Carl can be rated ahead of Okoye!

My marjori,Agbonabare was named Agbonibasket when he conceded five goals in a match keeping for NNB during WAFU cup.The man damn good and his records are there in Spanish La liga.He was the first Nigerian keeper to break into top five league in the world and was instrumental to our qualification to first World Cup... I remember 2000 Afcon was decided with penalties,I never rate Shorunmu but he was far better than Okoye... If we can get keeper of Dosu standard in present day NPFL then bye bye to Okoye.... Oh Alloy Agu the keeper I never respected but I saw him in Dutch league with Maastricht and did well.He was in goal in Algiers 90 and Senegal 92 and his performance though average was better from what i saw of Okoye in Afcon and any match he has kept for Nigeria....Pls just tell me any SE match that Okoye show that glimpse of a real national team keeper.

**Haba,pls go into archive and read about Wilfred Agbonabare,a la liga keeper with over 170 appearances for Rayo Vallecano,apart from Vincent Enyeama no Nigerian keeper had such record in top five league and saying Okoye is better cos of Dutch league.Dutch league that very poor Alloy Agu survived and Peter Rufai went there to revive his career.

In 1980,Okala has lost it which saw Ogedegbe benching him.Emma Okala was undisputed number one from 1972--1979.My Dad took me to stadia as a kid to watch Okala and that was 1977 WC qualifier against Tunisia but I can't say anything about him,all I know was watching players running up and down but I watched Best Ogedegbe till he left the game in 1986 with Abiola Babes.

Oga Charles,I can say much about Yak,right from Okomu Oil fc to Julius Berger fc and when he was in U23 camp in Ilorin.He looked lazy without ball but very deadly inside box but that missed against South Korea is the worst in World Cup history and it negate his profile as a good CF and Nigerians till today didn't forgive him

I have never rated Okoye. In the national colors he always seemed like a disaster waiting to happen. Take 4 shots on goal and Okoye will chop 3 goals.

Chief,a veteran like you rate Okoye,not possible.... you wey don see Best Ogedegbe,Peter Rufai,Wilfred Agbonabare,Alloy Agu,Willy Opara,Ike Shorunmu,Joseph Dosu,all time best Vincent Enyeama and little of Carl Ikeme.

Those mistakes are bond to happen, it happen even to the greatest of Keepers, Just like it made us miss the worldcup, Constant playing will help in reducing to mistakes to the nearest minimum

The coach rated him highly and it was based on his recommendation he was signed...yes mistakes happens even to the best in the world but that does not stop fans from rating a very good keeper....yes I agreed with you on constant playing and only way out is for him to seek for loan,possibly back to Dutch league.
