Pls you people shd speak so that we can know the performance of our Player in camp, that will also help us determine out first eleven. The camp is still young to know who is who, imagine Yobo had a full training with the team yesterday. |

chrisooblog: Sometimes judging your team's chances based on who is available or not is not the way to go.
In 2013 Osaze was out and out our best striker using EPL pedigree but we didn't take him. Same with Martins who I think was playing in La Liga then.
At the end of the day what happened? Emenike from a ''farmers'' league carried our goal scoring burden even though before the AFCON he was largely unrated.
So it's rather premature to say without Osimhen, Dennis and Ighalo we don't have hope. I think everything depends on Eguavoen philosophy as a coach.Stephen Keshi believe so much in bullish striker like Emenike. He love them strong and tall, athletic sort of. Let's wait for Eguavoen to unleash his team against Egypt. |

12large1: Epl, la liga and Seria are the Big 3. Their goals holds more weight than any other league that’s why I said “on current form”.. bundesliga and Lique 1 are among the big 5 but they’re still farmers league.. to me, 1 goal scored at Epl, la liga and Seria is an equivalent of 1.75 at bundesliga and Lique 1 while 2 at all other backwater league Sir,is there anything like big 3?what we have is big 5 and if you are doing it well in any of these leagues you are free to go.......according to UEFA statistical ranking of top 5 europe league which center on co- efficient and method rating...in this we have goalkeeping standard with post shot expected goals minus goals allowed, distance from goal per shot, pressing vs errors, wage + age and the ranking.....based on these there are confusing part on which league to rank number 3 between Seria A and Bundesliga but EPL and LA LIGA stand out in the rankings. |

12large1: Iheanacho has more SE goals than osimehn wtf are you blabbing Sir,I will start Iheanacho in GWG of 2016-2017 over any striker but Iheanacho of today I doubt but it all depends on what Sadiq,Awoniyi and Dessers bring to the table. |

humility33: Nacho can play as a Cf very well
He is more clinical than the strikers in camp, he is good with positioning His problem is that he gives away ball easily and poor touches sometimes
Playing him as a CF is not out of place Oga we have Sadiq,Awoniyi and Dessers, and this Afcon is an opportunity for them to tell us what they can do,am seeing us after Afcon getting confusing on who to start as CF even with availability of Osimehn. |

12large1: I just watched the trio of awoniyi, umar and iheanacho and to me, iheanacho seem more impressive and should be out starting striker in the absence of osimehn. Eguavoen must instill extreme discipline and seriousness into iheanacho or else, he can lose attention. My ranking of the 3 1) Iheanacho 2) Umar 3) awoniyi
Also, we can field 2 strikers and 1 winger while also selecting 3 midfielders in order not to imbalance the midfield Eguavoen I know I don't see Iheanacho starting CF over Umar or Awoniyi but I see him playing behind. |

safarigirl: Papilo does not say his words like a typical Nigerian. His accent is off, not quite Nigerian, but not quite foreign. Just caught in the middle
I don't have a recollection of how Ndidi sounds, but I recall Mikel was dragged for having a wannabe British accent by Nigerians for many years, maybe na retirement make una don dey reconsider.
When Kelechi retires too, we will say his accent was not forced after all.
Like I said, as long as they can be understood, make we no dey mock their accent. Sometimes, na pressure make people accent dey change and then they eventually get used to it. Environment does this but really surprised seeing Ola Aina and Alex Iwobi singing in Yoruba dialect perfectly. |

IDENNAA: No , Aribo didn't struggle because be had many options , which a Nigerian boy can only dream of. Aribo had many opportunities to excel in different avenues.
Take example of the exploits Nigerian kids are doing in the U.S. and you would understand these African kids born in first world country are so blessed.
My children reject food I wished I could eat as a little boy growing up in Nigeria.
I don't know what interest you have in Aribo but you are not being totally honest. Oh interest on Aribo....it was on this thread I said am not really impressed with Aribo of recent and he need to sit up. Sir,we are talking football here, did i accused you of racist when you classified Aribo as foreign born....let's continue with our football analysis so we can learn from it. Fact remain Nwakili has Aribo to displace and Aribo need to sit up and Afcon will be the determinant factor. |

IDENNAA: So , brother , you think Nwakali and Aribo had the same struggle ? A boy who waa born and raised in a first world England with all the government social programs for indigent families , security and regard for human life is being compared to another from a third world country where one senator pockets a salary that could feed a whole village! This sort of mentality is hurtful to all the children suffering because of wickedness of their leaders.
Aribo dropped out of college because he has no interest in university education not because his parents could not npay his fees or the government could not provide financial aid....you must not defend nonsense just to winargument. Sir,school fees is not the only reason for someone to drop out of school?some drop out to pursue another dream and it was always like a gambling and for former non league player playing for national team now is something great and that's my point,so Aribo struggled to be where he is today . |

Pls I don't like belittle a player but will be very angry see peeps here compare him with Aribo or even Iwobi Yes he is pushing harder...not getting it right does not mean he is not working, possibly Afcon can be a major turning point but depends on what Aribo and Iwobi brings to the table. |
