Ndidi normally records the highest in duels won on both sides in most of our matches. He used his signature octopus to win back the ball in our recent match against Zimbabwe. We too dey deceive ourselves here.....Ndidi of old or new Leicester |

Treadway: wrong They didn't come in legally They came in illegally and regd using the stupid CBP one app by the slowpoke called Joe Biden, to make an asylum claim. Those who already are in the court process will not be touched until judgement is delivered on their asylum application. Those who just used the app to join the illegal queue and haven't had their day in court, have now been told to leave cos they came in illegally through the wide open southern border, and the current president who is not an idiot like the previous one is intent and bound by law to stop the illegality.
So by all means open your gate and your front door, and let strangers waltz into your mansion to live there, cos they used an app that the former landlord whom you bought the house from, created due to his dementia. As super nice guy wey you be, when you can accept the above, I fit take you seriously Una too dey flex on America matter leaving Nigeria matter |

opes: Okoye will surely be the first choice at Chippa United. Whether Nwabali can be the first choice at Udinese is debatable, but at AFCON, he did very well We have seen both in eagles and it's absurd talking about Okoye in Chippa and Nwabali in Udinese....... |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Kog45(m): 10:50am On Apr 08, 2025 |
BankyGee: Nwabali is better than Okoye in the national team. I agree and I love that he's our number one, but the way una dey talk about Okoye anyhow dey surprise me. Okoye is a better all round goalkeeper than Nwabali, reflexes, ball distribution, shot-stopping, he's good. His problem in the national team is that he doesn't talk, he go just dey look defenders dey do anyhow without calling them to order like Nwabali does and when your defence is penetrated, one of two things will happen, either you concede or you save.
Okoye at Udinese is on a crazy level, even in his last game against Genoa, he was the Man of the Match with mad double saves and other saves.
I still love Nwabali as our number one and it should stay like that till Okoye learns how to coordinate his defenders, no senior man for national team, make he no dey fear. Okoye had all the advantages than Nwabali, reason why Rohr left Nwabali and co in NPFL and brought regional keeper to eagles. I followed Okoye career keenly and in Udinese right from the moment he seized it against Cagliary in Copa cup and never looked back. Good that we have Nwabali and Okoye Nwabali is my pick |

yinkeys: I’d include Uche in the front 3 if we play 3-4-3 He plays a much more offensive role for his club than in the middle of the park I’d drop Simon & probably bring him on 2nd half We really need fighters & players that can impose themselves in games against a well coordinated South African team That game would probably be Eagles toughest game this year because it’s on their soil Boniface is not an impactful player in the super eagles He’s got the physique going on for him but boy is not performing Pls just forget Boniface |

yinkeys: What sort of logic is this ? If you like be Buffon, Cassilas, Nueur or Courtois If youve got Enyimba players in front of you, playing against much better teams you will be more exposed & concede regularly To me it’s better he’s exposed to all sorts in club level, than make the errors in national team You really think statistics tell the complete tale ? Chippa United is not a great team Okoye had his chance, he didn’t take it Others too will get their chance if they’re better than Nwabali Uzoho is also gone because he’s just not good enough too That position is a delicate one There’s no time for too many errors in national team football Dude also won the hearts of Nigerians against SA in Afcon, those penalty saves sealed that spot for him. What has Okoye done to deserve number 1 spot ? It’s not like he’s playing for man Utd or something lol Udinese is a mediocre club in Italy I thought he was gonna give us reasons against Rwanda why he deserves to be the number 1 but we lost that game Nwabali appears to be the more composed goalie, he’s also comfortable with the ball on his feet. Every player needs to fight for their spot Okoye not playing for man utd is not even the issue but glaring he is not better than Nwabali.....do you think Onana is better than Nwabali? |

yinkeys: We want Onyeka & Uche in the team Nwabali has made 3 obvious errors so far in his Super Eagles career One against Ivory Coast in Afcon final One against Zimbabwe in WC qualifier One against Benin, partly Ndidi’s fault too
Okoye possible two Against Tunisia & Rwanda
But who is the better goalie you’d be confident in Oga,Nwabali gives confident and Okoye brings shaky shaky in eagles. What errors are will talking about, not at fault against Zimbabwe and Benin?haba abi no be this game again We have watched Okoye in eagles and no match Okoye impressed. Nwabali is far I meant far far better than Okoye. |

Nobody will say the real truth. You are asking the wrong question my brother. Now ask them okocha legacy outside the premier league ,they will go far back to 1952 where he dribbled and made Oliver khan jumped like a frog
Wishing you all a wonderful week 👌 This is the reason why I always rate Nigeria player using super eagles performance. If we want to go by club career rating,Richard Owubokiri would be rated above Rashidi Yekini. I remember JayJay as CM competed for Afcon highest goal scorer with 4 goals....Okocha carried Nigeria team from 2000-2004,well missing out on APOTY really underscored who is Okocha, nothing more and funny the same APOTY Victor Ikpeba won. Oga not hype,Okocha is more valuable than Kanu in eagles, nobody remember how he scored sublime free kick against Cameroon to level after we're are down with two goals but you see the same people telling us how great assist from Kanu to Utaka is the best to happen in Nigeria football history. Funny na EPL legacy we are talking instead of Nigeria legacy. Andrew baba he don tey o. |

Napoleon55: If we are comfortably leading a team, there is nothing wrong if our star player takes the penalties, Not only because Osimhen is gunning to break Rashidi's records, but is also equally good in scoring his penalties, he is yet to lose any of his penalties for us,even though there is a possibility of him failing to score when it will matter most just like any other player.
So I stand with my opinion Osimhen should take our penalties when much is not at stake.
And some times a designated penalty taker do allow another player take penalties and the coach won't have problem with that. Oga forget Yekinj record, records are meant to be broken and made, Osimhen is breaking that record penalties or not. The question who is eagles penalty taker? Ekong right. The assertion that if we're leading comfortably or taker allowed someone to take it,yes it happens but who is a designated taker?Ekong. Just check some opinions,Moffi and Omeruo better than Ekong, forgot that only a warrior would take that penalty against Ghana after a goal down. |
