The student studentship status survey seems so unreal for a new student like me. I guess its just to leave the default options, submit and proceed or just ignoring the survey.

Politics › Re: Okupe Condemns Opposition Governors’ Visit To Maiduguri by kokoA(m): 7:10am On Mar 06, 2013
GEJ should talk some senses into Okupe and Abati. These guys are killing him slowly. Must they respond to anything the opposition party does? How can you say a group of Nigerian leaders who decided to meet in a certain part of Nigeria were playing to the gallery? The agurement that the president had plans to visit Borno still makes no sense to me. So if the president plans to visit say Bayelsa state next week and the APC governors also decides to hold a meeting there few days before the president's visit, it becomes a crime? GEJ should tell his media aides to focus more on his strong points and play down his weak side, rather than desperately trying to cover obvious facts with cheap lies. Okupe must be high on alomo when he said "Nobody will kill a Nigerian and get away with it". That man lies from the four cardina points of his mouth to earn a living. Smh.

Politics › Re: N200m Donated To Victims Of Boko-Haram By APC Governors by kokoA(m): 8:17am On Mar 01, 2013
emmysenior: I almost gave a damn about this APC of a party, until they started showing signs of hypocrisy. Bomb blasted the same town in which they held their 1st meeting & now donating money to victims of bomb blasts... Where were they these whiles? Once upon a time, almost all Nigerians were very gullible & susceptible to mind traps, but that's in the past now. They should be very transparent, if they must conquer.
and your point is? By asking "where were they these while" are you talking about the APC that was formed some few weeks back? I think the right question should be "where is the presidency and his PDP gang?" What has PDP done to show the people of maiduguri that they part of Nigeria? PDP plays politics with the lives of Nigerians. Simply because Borno is an opposition state, they have refused to offer any form af assistance to the people of that state. I don't care if this is hypocricy on the part of APC, all I can see is APC leaders working on the streets of maiduguri, the most dreaded city in Nigeria, all I can see is leaders of a country waving to their people who have lost all hope because a man who they chose to protect them have lost hope in them and left them for terrorists to feast on. This is good 'hypocricy'!. PDP prove yourself!

You call the fall of PDP 'evil'?.. The oneness of PDP is the greatest tragedy Nigeria has faced in recent times.

Politics › Re: Tour: Maku Visits Edo, Shuns Oshiomhole by kokoA(m): 11:51pm On Feb 26, 2013
It was wrong and unwise for Oshiomhole to have declined receiving this body.Yes,you can decide not to pay for their visit, which is a sound argument, but making it impossible to inspect state projects is wrong.
We all have our opinions how Nigeria should be run, but if this tour have been going round the country to identify what the other governors are doing as well as federal projects in the states, Oshiomhole was wrong to have become so uncooperative and denied the people of Edo State the opportunity to ask questions and find out what was happening in the state. It all smacks of someone with skeletons in his cupboard desperately trying to hide something.Anyhow, the deed is done.
Sorry, but your response is very pathetic.

I later tougth to myself that they were probably purchased by our government and the white soldiers were asked to deliver them.

Well, the world is mad and we have to accept it that way unfurtunately. When a PHD holder and a president of a country chose to grant a young man who sing about how good his 'anaconda' is inplace of a very serious National debate and calls it "identifying with the Nigerian youth", why won't my younger sister aspire to be like Goldie and not like Chimamanda Adiche?. Who wants to be an "Enenche Akogwu" and get killed while trying report on the true situation of the country when you can be a "Tuface" and have all the beautiful women in the country? what more can I say?
Career › Re: About Sap? by kokoA(m): 7:27pm On Feb 21, 2013
xploits777: @Bakare, you need to really calm down with your approach and drive. It's ok to have strong drive and passion and be confident in oneself as a growing professional.
Another critical factor for success is character and attitude. These two ooze out when you communicate in verbal and non verbal terms. Everyone truly has freedom of expression but how free is it in a public forum like nairaland or even at your place of work.
The companies you seem to vilify as been mere training or certification companies are blossoming in massive SAP projects implementation due to their tenacity and hardwork. There are numerous ongoing projects in Nigeria and the SAP job market doesn't work like the conventional Job market where recruitment processes are strictly methodical and sacrosanct. NETWORK is key and that is what nairaland and other social media platforms afford us.
In brief, my advice is I don't think you are selling yourself enough with the reactions and comments you have poured in here and will advice you try to learn more by asking questions than jumping to conclusions on matters you probably have little or no experience in.
You may consider joining linkedin and there you will see reality and probably eat up some of your comments.
If you care to know more kindly inbox me your email and I will link you up and introduce you to some SAP groups. Cheers
exploits777@yahoo.co.uk
you have given him the best advice. I am a rockie in this SAP thing to, but thank God I was oppourtuned to work with a firm that have carried out a full life cycle implementation. From my interactions with senior colegues I know first hand that Nigerians are really working hard. Thought the market may be rough but the pipeline is promising. I think BAKAREATT is acting this way probably because he has invested quite a lot in SAP trainings and certification and is yet to see all those wonderful things people say about this career before he began. I know how it feels, though I never travled anywhere to get training, I have not taken any certification yet, but I interact with lots of SAP guys and I know how much they have put into it. At times I tell myself I am not worthy to be in their midst because I got to know SAP by accident and I never liked it initially but now I can say I was at the right place at the right time and thanks to people (my Bosses) who forced the thing down my throat. @BAKAREATT, Bro certification is cool but when it comes to the real thing its trash, I'd advice you take the advice you ve been given so far, look for openings in one of these firms. The pay is usually very discouraging at first when you compare it with your investment, but accept it for the main time, experience is what counts in this thing not paper.. Certificate can only give you a chance to be interviewed.

@Bakareaat: its very unfair for you to say no Nigerian company can implement SAP for her client. I know a number of implementations currently going on and local consulting firms with local consultants working on them.
