This is not true. If you do not have adequate information of a case, it's better you hold on before discrediting yourself.
Most of his interactions with the girl that published his name are online. A quick google search will help you have a better informed opinion.
The guy was just a gentleman who pleaded to know what he did and to whom. He begged and even apologised for whatever crime he was being accused of, but unfortunately, the agenda must agend.
When he figured out who is accuser was, he posted his online chats with lady and it showed that the lady approached him and kept on his case for years. His so called crime was refusing to date the girl and telling her that if all he wanted to do was to smash her, he would have strung her along. The girl has now termed that non-physical sexual abuse!!!
May Almighty God forgive him and his false accusers pay for their sins, amen.

You're wrong. The main income is from the 49% share of revenue that accrues to the FG.

Across the NLNG value chain, FG makes alot of money per year.

I fail to see how all this makes any sense.

First of all, last 2 months or so, same CBN came to tell the world that they were phasing out the dual currency system, and came out guidelines for banks to sell $ to their customers.
One didn't need to be a prophet to have predicted the failure of that fantasy.

Now, a 2 months or so later, the CBN is admitting it's 100th policy failure by now asking banks to sell to the BDCs. Isn't that a recognition of the BDCs as the bona fide market for foreign exchange?

Then why do we still have an official rate? For whom is it for and who benefits from it ?

Why doesn't the CBN mandate banks to sell directly to the public rather than the BDCs, who would enjoy an easy 20% profit for No effort, at the expense of the public and the economy ?

By selling millions of $ to private BDCs every week, isn't the CBN directly subsidizing private companies with very scarce foreign exchange that benefit the economy in my other ways ?

I am confused.

Why is it impossible for a person to go into a bank and buy foreign exchange at whatever the market rate is ?

For a country that sells oil and receives more than $20b in remittances per annum, why ?

It seems Nigerians don't get how unserious the present mgt. of CBN is (and this extends to economic mgt. team of FGN). They increase MPR on one hand and ask for Nigerians to diversify! With which money

Policy somersault every 2 weeks. Even the 30K they proposed haven't been implemented, they are already increasing it to 50k. While the people that really need the FX to import needed machinery, spares and raw materials cannot get it anywhere.

The CBN govr should be sacked asap. How PMB continues to retain this man to continue to destroy the economy is so baffling. Imagine being left with a choice of either voting to restart growth of the economy and theoretically fighting inflation, this man decided to go against the established norm in the Nigerian economy!!!
Once the MPR is raised, inflation rises in nigeria. So this man is destroying the little hope of kickstarting the economy by increasing lending rate to the common man.

In addition to the OP, with the erratic oil price, layoffs are rampant and catch most people unawares as they still have that big loan running, they still have to pay the crazy school fees, even though they own the house, as it's in a posh estate, the service charge is enough to rent a 5 bed house in Ajah, they still need to maintain the Benz and range rovers that 1 tyre cost 150k and a shock cost 200k.
It would be worse if the oil worker's is sacked due to an infraction which means no terminal benefit to offset some of these loans and no referal opportunity as the person has wasted all his/her years of employment with that company.
