yeah, i'm just comin 4rm meetin, just send me ur address and i wil come and tender my CV and application letter

You better talk to Kandikane to change your picture OR she should add the others to it... Me thinks you're being set-up to fall, because why should your pix be at an angle? I think your first pix with this other one is okay.

I will like to learn here. How can WE ALL buy from US?

If you own a Nigerian bank issued master/Visa card, its easy. What you need to know is your Billing address (the address you registered the card with) and you should have someone in the US to deliver the item to i.e. your Delivery address.

How you now get the items from there is up to you. Amazon/Apple Store/Best Buy etc are all sites you can buy stuff from and they will deliver to your delivery address in US.

yeah. true. but not all of us have access to buying from us directly and we av to pay for it.

We all can buy from US, major issue is getting someone to bring it down. Lucky for me, this is xmas season, so there are takers. On your bolded text, I paid for it oooo.. Abeg, I don't have power doing runs shi.t online

Technology Market / Re: Iphone 5 Unlocked Now Available From Apple Stores In USA by kokosheen(m): 11:01am On Dec 05, 2012
tumababa: if u bought 2, the tax is 107$, Apple ships from china when d product is just released. now that its been on sale for some time, they shd now av in stock.

You're right, at 8.3% tax rate, tax comes to 107$ for both phones. Better than buying for 120 - 150k in Naija.

av u now bought it for 649$? if u think thats all Apple will charge u for the iphone, u are on a long thing. depending on where u want to ship it to,total amount charged can be up to 730$ or more.
Another good news is dat the 2 per customer limitation has been removed. U can now buy up to 100 pieces at once directly from Apple. thats incredible.

Yep, I bought 2 for $649 x 2 = $1298 and some other stuff I needed and the tax wasn't too much as I was shipping to Texas. It seems Apple's hub is around that area because a friend that bought his from their Canadian store while tracking the order saw that it shipped from China - S.Korea - Houston, before sorting to Canada.
Technology Market / Iphone 5 Unlocked Now Available From Apple Stores In USA by kokosheen(m): 9:28pm On Dec 04, 2012
I wanted to buy a new phone and was told I could only get the unlocked version of Iphone 5 from Canada or UK. Lucky enough I googled unlock versions of the phone and found that Apple has now started selling them in the US about 6 hours ago.
so if you need one better make your order now. By the way, I got the 16gb for $649 (NGN 103000), not bad shey cool

^^^^ if you changed the time, you could have modified your first post and highlighted the change with bold red font (there was no way I would have gone through 58 pages on a workday). Anyway, round 1 is done, hope we keep to rules in the next round.

You guys are doing a great job.

Sincere 9gerian: Former Minister of Information, Dr Walter Ofonagoro,
On the Major Chukwuma Nzogwu Coup of January 15,1966, he said that the purpose of the coup was to revolutionise Nigeria.
He said that calling the coup an Igbo coup was wrong since Igbos were controlling over 75 percent of the government in the First Republic.
According to him, the purpose of the coup was to bring dynamism into the government of Nigeria in line with Ghana and other African nations that were already attracting international respect.
http://thenationonlineng.net/new/news/how-gowon-blocked-arms-food-from-entering-biafra-ofonagoro/

So in order to revolutionize, leaders of other regions except SE were killed and at the same time Igbos were controlling 75% of the govt

Please, who is fooling who?

How can you control something and when you decide to revolutionize it, people that don't control (according to you) are killed and your people immune??

Family / Re: Give Me A Child And Get 250k, Twins 500k by kokosheen(m): 11:25pm On Nov 29, 2012
stpat1:

she'll be tested before the whole process, then she will be in a rented apart till she gives birth. Or she can go about her normal life after the pregnancy is over 2 months (that's if she wishes). But by the ninth month she has to be in the apartm. And within the city and will be there in the next 1 year for good attention.

If that's the case (even though she could still cheat on you if she wants), this process is going to be pretty expensive unless you intend to keep her in your own house. Also, what you're asking the lady to sacrifice is much more than she just humping you and giving you a baby, you're asking her to pause her life for 2 years +.

Men, that's kinda cheap for a graduate @1.2m package. Things are bad but I don't expect a graduate that you might consider fit to be your baby mama taking this offer. I think you stand a better chance with career minded chicks who also don't want the marriage baggage.

RudySmith:

let me enlighten u by telling u that there r many *pre natal* PATERNITY/DNA test available on the market. The test done r amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling, and can save the poster a lot of unforeseen whahala.
and you can prescribe somewhere he can do this and at what price?? Comeon, this is naija. Shi.t like this is very expensive and results are not always conclusive. This is not time for daydreaming bro
Family / Re: Give Me A Child And Get 250k, Twins 500k by kokosheen(m): 7:50pm On Nov 29, 2012
RudySmith:

That is why we advised him for a DNA/PATERNITY test b4 any lump sum should b handed out.

So he does paternity test after humping and praying for 1 - 3 months, waits till she delivers after another 9 months and have already forked out at least 450K (that's not counting antenatal cost)?

If it turns out the baby is not his, do you think he would be able to muster the courage to go through the entire process again, at which he wouldn't still be able to guarantee the baby would be his until delivery
Family / Re: Give Me A Child And Get 250k, Twins 500k by kokosheen(m): 7:26pm On Nov 29, 2012
Enoquin: How are you sure the lady you are planning to hump will sleep with only you? What checks have you put in place to ensure that she sleeps with no other man before getting pregnant for you?

Smart question...

OP, how do you escape the fate of many married Nigerian men I know one is by not getting married but Enoquin asked a valid question, how do you ensure she sleeps only with you? Or do you intend to house her till she gets pregnant

OP, this case is simple.

Reply every mssg you receive that the update is a hoax and you actually had a bet with someone you now know is crazy and lost (the bet). Use a smiley too and put this mssg on your status too.

You're not engaged, don't worry about it.

So she responded. She is busy with finals related stuff this week, but has agreed to hook things up sometime after that.

So....suck it, haters grin

ekt_bear wins again cheesy

ekt_bear: My brother, the story ends here, unfortunately cheesy

It would be ungentlemanly of me to share any further details of whatever happens on NL.

Besides, the purpose of this thread has been served: the lesson learned is not to assume that a girl wanting to be facebook friends = rejection. I should have known better than to listen to the detractors that abound on NL grin

Oh I forgot to say, she told me the reason she didn't give me a # is due to some creepy, overly aggressive stalkish guys she met in the past.

Depends on your base and how often you move around. I've found Glo modem to be reliable in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, and some of my friends use Etisalat.
If in Lagos/Abuja/Port-Harcourt, Etisalat should be good enough.

I use Glo and find it okay for my limited use away from home/office but can't beat my chest every time
Politics / Re: Obasanjo Fires Back At Gowon by kokosheen(m): 4:46pm On Nov 25, 2012
I still don't like OBJ, but Gowon's comment was uncalled for as he himself has not taken visible steps to end the crisis (he can't even stop the killing in his state)... Anyway, history would tell us the real players to the BH games.. its just time we need (hopefully the country would still exist)
