Sincere 9gerian: The president is having 'condolence fatigue'. Presidents of other countries in similar situation with Nigeria,eg Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Yemen, etc are also having 'condolence fatigue'. Haba Bros, he has 'condolence fatigue' for dead Nigerians but not for dead Americans right I try not to engage in debates involving the ruling party and opposition but when posts like yours come up, I wonder if the people typing them even have souls 3 Likes |

Seun: It's a HBO show. They make shows primarily to attract subscribers to their network. I think the only way to watch HBO Shows legally is to move to the US and subscribe to HBO. the show is actually listed on DSTV channel 101 (NA in Nigeria) http://www.dstv.com/Search/?searchTerm=game%20of%20thrones§ion=tv-guide |

*Kails*: Please, see the number of bullet holes on the boat and tell me if they were trying to kill him or not. They could have used a flash bomb or something, but decided to shoot up the boat. Even at that, blood was splattered outside the boat, unless you're saying the suspect tried to kill himself outside the boat. Also, the statement that the Elder brother was run over by the younger one has been outed as a lie by a witness https://socioecohistory./2013/04/22/ Until questions are answered about the number of security personnel at the event, seen with same type of back packs used by the bombers and some seen running just before the explosions without theirs, the doubt that this is an inside job still remains

I can't believe most of the posts I'm reading. WTF You guys are happy that the ruling party admits it’s corrupt and says opposition parties shouldn't point fingers as they are also corrupt WTF is wrong with Nigerian youths these days! What happened to NANS, NBA and other civil liberty groups Even at that, if the ruling party knows that ACN and their cohorts are corrupt, why aren't they in jail or even charged to court yet Shitznit Mehn 1 Like |

debrief08: Kokosheen, while I agree that post partum depression causes some of these attitudes the poster mentioned that this started after they married before pregnancy and child birth. The OP didn't give the timeline of his MIL's visit but from my experience, mothers come for omugwo just before a baby's birth. Even if his wife started the negative behavior during pregnancy, some women tend to behave erratically due to hormonal changes during the period. Its just my opinion but OP would make things clearer if he can help with timelines for his wife's behavioral change and MIL's visit w.r.t. to the pregnancy period. 1 Like |

OP, I have a quick question: When did her behavioral change start? During pregnancy or after delivery I know we men tend to think in different wavelengths to women but we should try and understand them a little better. In my opinion, you wife might be suffering from Postpartum depression (PPD) and there's a thread on NL that deals extensively with it: https://www.nairaland.com/1073248/postpartum-depression-what-need-know. I'm surprised that the OP of that thread has been here and she didn't pick any of the points you made to correlate with PPD. My opinion, I might be wrong. 1 Like |

Knew her when she was a teen in Festac, finest chic in the 5th avenue axis then. While at Ilaro poly, she was still the bomb but by the time she entered Unilag, she had blown up (not as a star then sha)... One thing I can say about her is that she's a very down to earth and nice (when she needs to be) person. One thing I really really like about her is that she doesn't suffer fools... Bobajo: God bless you 1000 times for this post. They should shoot the people that own the money too for 1)'conduct directly exposing other peoples lives to danger' and 2). 'serial money laundering to perpetrate unnamed atrocities' I wouldn't say they should be shot but you made a pertinent point of their exposing ordinary passengers to situations like this. But in a country of unlawful rulers, nothing will be done. |

adconline: If you read the original post, it's stated that the robbers missed the cash being moved from the car park to the airport terminal. This was a regular FX movement and not BDC runs. No one is beefing anyone here, I just would like to have an idea how this money was made and why it's being taken out as cash except if it was gotten illegally and being laundered. |

Seriously SMH for most of the posters on this thread!!! Most are thinking of tribal e-war, how they would have spent the evil loot or how come a pastor is involved but fail to get the real message of the robbery!!! Nigeria is being ROBBED DRY by some pen robbers! In 2012, N600 million is being moved out on one day of a week and according to the robbers, this has increased to N1 billion raw cash!!! 1 billion naira in 1 day!!! Haaaaaaaaaa Come on Nigerians, who owns this money? what are they using it for? Where did they get it from? These are the sort of questions we should debating and not frivolous issues that would not add any value. 6 Likes |

I see this as Blatter begging the FFM to please save his ass!! I don't belive this story one bit and that's because of the timing. Question is why didn't they say this all this while before Pandev came out to say he voted for Mourinho... This tale is getting interesting. |

And why the heck isn't your iPhone 5 working here If you don't know how to use a smart phone, don't buy one!!! I don't think either the OP or Onyinye cheated. More like a case of chance. OP said his friend was around for like a week, which is more than enough to get a woman pregnant. Onyinye is probably shocked and angry that the family can think such. So sad OP, your famous three.some would now be you, Tiwa and your Wife, since Onyinye would be leaving Tiwa'a a.s.s |
Education / Re: Nigerian Boarding School Experiences by kokosheen(m): 5:18pm On Mar 20, 2013 |
Mehn!!!! Boarding school was the bomb. As a junior, you suffered oooo.. Lemme recall the craze tinz JS1-3 go through: Dirty plate call – this is a call by a senior student (SS2 - 3) at which he would throw up his plate (plastic oo) but if it lands on the floor!!! All the Juniors are dead – seriously Dirty clothes call – same scenario as above Mid –term and New- term tax – I schooled in the beginning of the 90’s, so you pay roughly 30 – 50 bucks to the Generals (the sadists seniors) and 20 naira to the gentler ones. The tax is less if you’ve a sadist senior as your school father cos he takes half your pocket money and that’s all!!! Fight club – this is for entertainment of the seniors and not all juniors undergo this. If you’ve been identified as a bad boy (sneak out of school, partake in eating housemasters goats and chickens, raid the school farm), then you are eligible to be called to fight at any time T (fight takes place mostly during school hours – class dodgers) Burgled lockers – after the 1st night, bye bye to your provisions and text books Maintain your seniors farm plot – each house (hostel group) had their own farm plot and proceeds are given to the school (in other words the principal and senior teachers to share) As a senior, I was a made-manboi… lemme lists some tinz we did: Kitchen raid – the cooks always start preparation of the morning meal on slow fire overnight, perfect opportunity to raid the big pot Kill, Cook and eat Goat/chicken/snake/bush rat/wood worm - anything that looks edible Cook with boiling rings connected to light switch/with coal iron and (most ingenious) a hole in the ground (to be explained later) Raid the school farm Sneak out of school every night to a joint to eat fufu. Funny that I wouldn’t try that shit again if given the chance. The buka opens only by 6pm and it’s just across the road from a cemetery (I’ve eaten enough ghost meals, chai) Sneak out every weekend to local hotels to swim/shag your school mate/play games at your day-student friend's house One that is general, right from Junior to Senior class is Ninjarising – using a tee-shirt to cover ur face, two pillows to soften your footfall and going into the female hostels in the middle of the night to get trophies (trophies – female pubic hair) and check out the ones bathing at night…. (Please, note that I only did this once or twice to spite some girls that abused me) 1 Like |

This is a bare-faced lie. Haba!!! You mean Bill Gates (who isn't a head of state) would wake up one day and cancel an appointment with a sitting president of a federation just because some people are not around to join him on the trip. I will believe Abati's fairy tales if and only if, Obama was the one to accompany Bill Gates in the first place, otherwise, Abati needs to stop drinking from GEJ's toilet bowl. 11 Likes |

For the period Patience Jonathan wasn't around, GEJ seemed to be taking good strides and personally my position (oppposition) waned a little. Now that she's back and running, the Presidency has reactivated the harakiri mode. I hope the country exist by 2015, because at this rate, unless GEJ pays all army officers at least $1m/year, something will happen. |

Dudu_Negro: We have a splinter Governors forum, facilitated by the President of Nigeria. Gej is also in a move to subordinate state governors to his cabinet ministers and in addition to remove local government from under their control. Nice insight... Truth be told, if GEJ succeeds to hold on to power in 2015, the chaos that would reign when he eventually leaves will be unprecedented. This move of his is so so ill-thought (just like most of his decisions )... |
