3triangle: It baffles me how we tend to condone evil in this country and we all call ourselves christians and moslems whose religions teaches uprightness and upholding of the truth. Well, as for me, we all stray and I did learn my lessons. I was an innocent girl that was taken advantage of. Looking back now, I wish I could take all that back. I have a trust issue with men now & its even a phobia I have to live with in my marriage when the time comes. That not withstanding, we should call this evil what it is. She is supposed to be a nursing mother, f-u-c-k-i-n-g another man who's not her husband and still breastfeeding her baby, that's abominable if you ask me. I'll free you, but first remove the log in your eye before looking at another person's speck. You should tell someone that you know would spread the gist until it gets to your sisters about your sexcapades with their husbys. You don't have to worry, their husbands took advantage of you, you were too young to know better, but now you are older, you are disgusted by the act and want to make sure people know the kind of person their husbands are. If you can do this, then you're morally justified to tell on your aunt. |

3triangle: Its not about me this time. Yes I made my mistakes but I was naïve and the 2 men used me and took advantage of my innocence. That is history now though. What do you mean focus on topic? Have you confessed your sins to your sisters? If you haven't and your secret liaison with their hubbies is still secret (meaning the hubbies themselves haven't confessed), then you have no right bringing this topic up. |

3triangle: I am just shocked to my marrow. I so wish to cause the husband to find out. The man is such a gσσ∂ and hard working man But you didn't remember that your elder sisters (2 of them) had great husbands when you were digging them shey .. As your own issue died down, this will too. The only thing I think you can do is to call your aunt and discuss with her to stop what she's doing, don't go destroying other peoples marriage. 3triangle: I am like I said doing something abominable and I know. But I cant help myself. I am an existing member of nairaland.com but I cant post this using my original ID for fear of the stigma cos some of friends in school knows my nairaland.com handle.https://www.nairaland.com/589476/doing-something-abominable-know-need 1 Like |

geez*: Yes, some Yorubas do have licensed guns but the question is what's the proportion of Yorubas with guns (whether licensed or not)?? 2/3/4/5% of the population? Igbos at Alaba/Trade-fair complex (Aspamda)/Ladipo/Jankara/Ajegunle-Apapa wharf/Ajangbadi/Idumota have a good population that are armed or have handled arms before. I cannot give a %tage of this, as a poll cannot be conducted, but its on record that these markets also serve as gun trading posts. I’ve Igbo friends and most if not all, have at one time handled a gun before (maybe during festivals or from their guards or runz) while most Yoruba guys are too busy with Acada or chasing the golden fleece to be bothered. I expected you to write that you, your brothers & cousins have shotguns under your bed, not mentioning OPC here. Do you think when it happens OPC would come to your doorstep to secure you or they'll first converge at pre-arranged gathering area? At this point, you should start thinking of how you'll secure yourself and your family first before you start calling for the Hausa treatment (that's if you're living with us in Nigeria). On what you posted, were you present during these fights at Ajegunle/Idi-araba??, if you weren't and don't intend to participate in future ones, just shut-up and let the people who do, do the talking. Nuff said.. We should start thinking (that's our greatest strength) and stop engaging in e-battles we won't be present to fight in. Omo Odua ro nu!!! |

T9ksy: Thank you sir for your kind words..Ode With everything going on right now, you expect me to vent over a e-warrior comment You're behind a PC calling for northern treatment but when push comes to shove, we won't find you. Let me tell you this, 1) I'm yoruba and have Igbo friends. 2) Lots of upward Igbo boys in Lagos have guns or have handled guns which you don't have/haven't handled. 3)Most Yoruba boys are to busy with Acada than to get involved with point 2. 4) Lots of Area boys don't count as they always scramble when it really gets hot. Please, when you have at least a shotgun under your bed and your brothers & cousins do too, then come back and start writing people of little mind comments. FYI I was active during the '93 riots, so I'm talking from experience. You shouldn't talk/act like Ojukwu that didn't have guns but went to war . 1 Like |

Business / Sonangols $3.2bn Profit Shows Nnpc’s Model As Broken by kokosheen(m): 7:28am On Dec 12, 2012 |
Wednesday, 12 December 2012 00:00 PATRICK ATUANYA Angolan state oil firm Sonangol’s strong profit growth for 2011 is highlighting the broken model of Nigeria’s state controlled oil company, the NNPC, which is hobbled by corruption, poor management and political interference. Sonangol posted net profits for 2011 of $3.32 billion, a 32 percent rise and up from $2.52 billion in 2010. Strong revenues on the back of high oil prices more than offset weak output last year, the company’s chief executive Francisco de Lemos Jose Maria said. Sonangol is the main player in the oil sector in Angola, Africa’s second-largest oil producer after Nigeria. The company also has exploration activities in Iraq, Venezuela and Brazil. Sonangol’s performance compares with the NNPC, which was described as “technically insolvent” by a former junior minister for Finance, Remi Babalola. Analysts say the NNPC with its flawed business model has become a personal slush fund for Nigerian politicians. Nigeria’s government owes the state-owned oil firm for improper, informal loans used to cover a range of expenses, from a presidential helicopter to maritime security and hardware for military personnel, according to a recent audit. NNPC has also been forced to shoulder most of the cost of an expensive oil subsidy, with the corporation going from accounting for 60 per cent of Nigeria’s fuel imports in 2011, to now accounting for all of them. The Federal Government owes the NNPC more than $8.1 billion in fuel subsidy payments, an unnamed NNPC source said last month, straining the corporation’s ability to import petrol and adding to its financial burden. The NNPC budget (which has to be approved by parliament every year), is often inadequate for its growth capex. “The NNPC should not be subjected to the National Assembly’s usual legislative processes and appropriation because it operates like a private corporation,” Petroleum Minister Diezani Allison-Madueke, said in a recent statement to the House of Representatives. The corporation cannot also independently raise funding, leaving its joint venture cash call commitments often unfunded and behind schedule. The NNPC (established in 1977) in joint partnerships with the major international oil companies (IOCs), produces most of Nigeria’s 2.4 million barrels a day of oil output, which contributes 80 percent of government’s revenue and 95 percent of foreign exchange. The corporation also has interests in refining, petrochemicals and products transportation, as well as marketing. The Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) which aims to unify all the necessary legislation in one bill and provide a clear framework for investment in the energy sector, as well as transform the NNPC into a model state oil company such as Brazil’s Petro bras, has been largely stuck in the National Assembly. A 2010 joint report by Transparency International and Revenue Watch Institute, found that NNPC had the poorest transparency record out of 44 national and international energy companies examined. The NNPC received a score of zero - the only company to do so - in the category of “organisational information disclosure”, a measure of the transparency of a company’s deals and partnerships. A report by the National Assembly in May, uncovered a $6.8 billion fraud involving Nigeria’s fuel subsidy, which is partly run by the NNPC. The report said NNPC was accountable to no one and owed the government N704 billion ($4.34 billion) for subsidy violations and owed oil traders some $3.5 billion in unpaid bills. Angola, Africa’s second-largest oil producer behind Nigeria, pumped 1.65 million barrels per day last year, earning the company (SONANGOL) $33.7 billion in revenues as oil prices rose above $100 a barrel. http://www.businessdayonline.com/NG/index.php/news/76-hot-topic/48888-sonangols-32bn-profit-shows-nnpcs-model-as-broken |

190-the-clown: Bobs, I didn't know it was possible until I opened this thread too . As in, OP is not a medical practitioner, claims to be a MAN, and also had great urge of making love to the babe, but when confronted with the kitty-kat, could only devise an unknown method of checking if the hymen is there or not!!!. What can I say now? He should use his method(s) to check if the place is still intact or not . 1 Like 1 Share |

ayolatun: Guy she wan jazz Ɣ☺ΰ !!!! Run for yah dear life. lol . On topic, someone else might have disvirgined her while on hols and maybe she took in. The question now is whether you are a virgin and she knows it. If you're one, her crayfish brain might be telling her to sleep with you and put the pregnancy on you. Anyway, you messed up initially because no sensible babe would open up her kitty for a man to check if the hymen is there or not, if they didn't want him to hit it hard. NOTE that all I have written above is a theory that might not be true. For all we know, she might still be one. Since you checked successfully last time you got there , you can still check if all is intact. 1 Like |

Hmmm!! so HIV might be a cure to cancer? but what hybrid disease will it produce (T-Virus ).. Anyways, lets welcome the real life ALICE (let em watch her before she starts flying ) |

My first, second and third carry-overs were my fault.. Too much club things, too much voltron arrangement, believing everyone in our Voltron-crew was like me, wicked lecturer (re-arranged the exam hall at the last minute ). When I saw my results with F-s, I just buckled up in subsequent semesters and got good grades (graduated with 2.1). I knew it was my fault and was just disappointed in myself. It even gave me the opportunity of dropping stragglers from the crew. |

Family / Re: "Pls Help this man – "How should he tell his Wife That he his HIV Positive?" by kokosheen(m): 10:57pm On Dec 08, 2012 |
The guy thinks he got infected by the co-worker but truth be told, he might have gotten infected through his wife as she could be cheating as well. I know this is far-fetched, but the first thing he should do is to confront the co-worker on her HIV status as she's bound to know (shey its mandatory that workers in coy do the HIV test every 2 years). The risk here is that the co-worker might be uninfected, which means another party knows his status, but if it occurs this way, the discussion with his wife would take another dimension. But if the co-worker is +ve (I.e. She infected him), he should come clean to his wife and save their children from getting accidentally infected. |

SK or SexKillz, I'm ashamed for you.. Hiding posts that show the kind of sham election you want to hold. I wrote what I observed and its clear as daylight now that you're trying all your possible best to make sure your candidate wins. Note, that even though this is for the fun of it, you should never find yourself in a situation that you'll be best yet someone in a position of power would do their possible best to frustrate you. The competition was nice in the beginning but you ended up spoiling the fun for me and my friends, thanks..I'm un-following the competition thread. I have said my piece 6 Likes |
