Romance › Re: Depression: The Most Difficult Thing To Explain by koladata(m): 5:12am On Nov 04, 2025 |
It's easy to explain but most people use the word depression loosely in Nigeria, but it’s far more serious. Imagine someone losing their parents, family, job, savings, all in one day then their nude got leaked that same they after scammers hacked their account and wipe their entire savings, that crushing weight is what people with depression feel every moment, even without such bad events happening to them .
Depression isn’t just sadness; it’s when the brain gets stuck in a deep, sad state that only treatment can fix. But many people think a breakup means depression... being sad and being depressed are not the same , sadness can pass, while depression traps the mind until it’s treated. |

Let the country finish if it has to , i'm Yoruba. Of what benefit is the country to me, a country that is being enjoyed only by some set of people. Politics › Re: Trump Designated Nigeria Country Of Particular Concern In 2020 Too by koladata(m): 5:57am On Nov 01, 2025 |
Send support to a government that is not ready to solve his own problem? !!!, what move have they made personally. there are over 5milion cctv camera in UK over 50 million in USA , China cctv camera is unlimited... How many does the government have to start with ?, I know your argument will be cctv camera won't work, but why not digitalize and secure all the streets first abi money no dey to buy cameras? Why not create a new security polices whose work is primarily to monitor cctv cameras across the country on a shift , lets see if bandit will break all cameras at once and lets see if where they are running to , camera no dey there? Simple road government no do , how do you explain that Abuja has some10 lanes of roads and Benin major road to all most all part of the country is a deep hole, so while traveling on a bad high way , why won't bandits take advantage of the bad roads to kidnap them since they know they can't maintain some certain speeds because of the road?. Barricades every were on high way , which country in the world have you seen such barricades and these are opportunities that these bandits use to kidnap people , you will see barricades without police or military guys , you just have to slow down and pass through this obstacles on the road. Why will police put barricades on the high way just to extort people in the day time and still leave it there at night when they close from work knowing fully well that harmed rubbers can take advantage of these. So before you ask for support from usa , what has the government done personally to stop this. If they tell you government are being these bad things happening in these country , some of you think its a lie and I can understand because its counterintuitive to think the government of a country would do this to his own people, but sorry that's the reality. Go to cross rivers state, i have a friend in this state who is a top police officer, he had told me a top secret 5days ago that the governor of cross rivers pays head of each occultic members 10millions naira monthly to share among his members and these my friend even confirmed that one of his colleagues is a beneficially of this money every month... which means even police offers are cult members . How do you explain this to a 7 year old, and would you say Tinubu doesn't know about this with all the highly paid top security officers around him? So the question is, how do you want USA to support a country whose government are the ones behind the indulgency What steps have they taken to get the support of USA , the other day we saw video of military guys taking pictures with bandits LegendHero: This time around, Marco Rubio is calling it Fulanu ethnic militias mudding Christians in Nigeria.
We all know bandits don’t look at whether a person is Muslim or Christian before mudding people but I kinda like the viability this is gaining.
Trump should put body and send some support for Nigeria government to curb the herdsmen menace once and for all if he truly cares about Nigeria Christian. They should supply Nigeria fully the necessary military tech and intelligence needed to hasten the end to this menace.
Anything contrary to the above, he is just showing fake love to Nigeria Christian. |

Romance › Re: Why I Lost Interest After Meeting A Pretty And Intelligent Lady by koladata(m): 5:23pm On Oct 30, 2025 |
You could have tried to explain this to her first before making your decision tobeezman: I met this fine geh at a tech event in Lagos. Before the event started, we had a little chit-chat and mehn, she was exactly my type. Beautiful, intelligent, confident, and we just clicked. You know that kind of connection that feels like you’ve known someone for years? Yeah, that was it.
Throughout the event, we kept vibing, laughing at the same jokes, sharing ideas, everything just aligned.
At the end, I asked for her name she said Linda. Cool name.
Then I asked where she was from, she said Anambra. My eyes lit up. I’m from Anambra too!
So I got curious and asked, “What village?” She mentioned it and boom, it’s in the same local government as mine. I was like, “This is fate.”
Everything was lining up perfectly. She was single, I’m single, we shared interests, goals, and background… until one tiny moment changed everything.
She gave me her business card and I didn’t see a single Igbo name on it. Both her first and last names were English.
When I got home, I texted her, I asked, gently, “Don’t you have an Igbo name?”
Her reply?
“I don’t like my Igbo name, and I don’t like speaking Igbo either.”
That one message drained everything I felt for her. Instantly.
It wasn’t about tribal pride or anything dramatic, it was just the realization that we might see identity differently. Because for me, being Igbo isn’t just where I’m from, it’s who I am. It’s the rhythm in my thoughts, the tone in my laughter, the root of my values.
And when someone rejects that part of themselves, it feels like they’ve rejected a part of me too.
So yeah… I ghosted her. Not because she wasn’t amazing, but because something in me went cold. |

Thanks for the clarification casualobserver: He is importing largely because we don’t have enough to give him. Don’t forget he is importing crude and exporting refined products. Refined has more value than crude.

My thought exactly but the problem is even Dangote is importing fuel... Nigeria is counterintuitive casualobserver: Petrol price is not going up. We have a refinery that can supply all our domestic needs. BUA is under construction and the NNPC refinery is there. This is to make imported petrol more expensive than locally refined petrol, discourage the practice and conserve our forex.
And if they don’t want to patronize Dangote they can set up their own refinery. |

Everything they said is true , at this point I don't even care if the usa have access to Nigerian oil , to what important has the oil done to the citizen oga? please, let them come and take the oil , as far as i'm concern the citizens are already on the ground and you can't even push us further , the only people that won't find it easy are the politicians. courage89: All these negative, fabricated stories needs to be repudiated by all Nigerians. When their true goals, objectives begin to manifest, it’s not only the north, or Muslim that will feel the impact, it’s the whole Nigeria. Christians, children, elderly, Igbo, Yoruba… pretty much everybody.
American politicians are drumming the war of sanctions that will cripple Nigerians again: cause chaos in the country to destabilize and paralyze our economic activities, create high inflationary environment leading to unending devaluation and increase poverty in the land.
They want to create chaos in the land, similar to what’s going in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), for them to have unfettered access to our natural resources, rare earth metals.
This is where all Nigerians needs to come together in respective of political affiliation, religion and tribal affiliation and push back on this false narrative. |

Let them invade them if they have to , what have they done with the oil, they are still one of the poorest countries in the world even with the largest oil reserve, so let them invade them , if US win, its a win for all. Kaliningrad: The US is so broke, with $38 Trillion debt they're now looking for oil to steal from weak countries. Venezuela is their easy picking. And now they're starting to sell the bullshit story about drug trafficking bla bla bla.
When we all know that there are more drug traffickers in Texas alone than Venezuela. The entire US rap industry is funded by drug money. Wall Street bankers wash the money and reinvest it in the US economy.
Mexico is the home of the biggest and deadliest drug cartels, so why aren't they invading Mexico? Because it's too close to home. They don't like their cities being destroyed when they go around looking for trouble or oil to steal. If they invade Mexico, Mexico will hit them back home.
The so called President of peace who ended 10 wars, even with countries that never existed.... Is once again planning to invade and kill the most peaceful people in South America.
This is why the United States is hated back home in the Americas. They've held everyone hostage and threatened to eliminate everyone who doesn't comply.
The US will get what's coming. |
