woow! Thats great, but i'm sure not in Nigeria sha.. I mean wtf? How on earth will federal and state universities buy BED and PILLOWS for over 3thousand students[average quota of students admitted yearly].. Gimme a quintessence of such a federal/state university? I think you need to get straight FACTS o.. To me it isn't impossible, but hard to achieve??!
. Well, I'm an EKSU student. In my 100l be4 UNAD became EKSU caused by the merger, I stayed in the hostel and we were given beds with pillows... So I'm talking bout experience here and not just fallacy.

Your lappy is fake,I'm sure its a refurbished laptop sold to u as new.... You can try to upgrade the system software or update your windows... The best thing ill do is,since most new system comes with a warranty(off course I doubt urs is new) return it to the seller and get it fixed for free or just collect another.
HealthRe: Surgery Done With a 'rechargeable lamp' In Nigeria... by kolidave(op): 11:12am On Oct 17, 2013
Na wa oooo!!!! Everybody just dey share likewise experience. So u mean most times, surgeons use rechargeable lamps and lantern to operate? So this is a norm in Nigeria?.... Chai!!! #faintzzzzzz time to start planning to build ma own hospital, ill just remove electricity and generator budget & get regular supply of candles, lamps and lanterns every 3months. that one sef go cut budget. Sounds like a good plan.
HealthRe: Surgery Done With a 'rechargeable lamp' In Nigeria... by kolidave(op): 8:43pm On Oct 16, 2013
Wait ooooooo!!!!! *cleans eyes* why is everyone giving and siting examples and at d middle of d story say ' using a torch light/mobile phone torch' so dis tin don turn normal tin for naija hospitals..... #faintzzzzz

No offense, buh ur use of English is terrible ooooo, that's not a dental surgery and definately not a lantern. Its a fluorescent lamp Abeg. jigboke: Why should you be ashamed of urself . Remember that, the problem is from our leaders .the money meant to be used and equip the hosp are embezzled by them.Doctors are really doing their best . This is one of the reasons that made me to like this ongoing strike .
I'm embarrased cos what dey did is a disgrace to the country, its just so absurd... If dey knew they didn't satisfy all d criterias to do a surgery why do it with a lamp and risk the life of a patient. I know the government are to be blamed but this doctors have a little blame too

oyinmama: It isn't a new occurrence. Back in 2003, I remember using a phone torch to carry on with a Caesarian section at Adeoyo Hospital in Ibadan. PHCN had done its worst during surgery, main generator and back-up had both broken down. We couldn't stop, so we made do with the torch of those small Nokia phones back then to finish. There were also instances when I had to set up intravenous fluid infusion for babies via the scalp using lantern light held up by colleagues.......
woww how was that possible... Was it safehuh? Wasn't there a way u could stabilize d patient and continue when There's proper electricity... those where huge risk....
