If he likes he shud use trumpet self. All these achievements he has been reeling out, are they true or not? He may not have done 100% well but he has done well. For one man to have lead the chunk of madt people we have in this country convincingly for the past 4years, without being a Phd holder in psychiatrics matters, he should be applauded and given another chance. |

aljharem: If your anuty indeed has a shop then I must say you are heartless. Agudu remains one of the most neglected areas in Lagos state.
No pipeborne water, No drainage, horrible roads etc and yet you still defend APC that have rule this state for 15 years !!! Bros , God bless u. I spent 11yrs in Aguda, but recently I went to Aguda and I discovered that there is no single road that leads to my precious Aguda of 1998. I wept. From Sanya to Adetola, from Ijesha to Aguda, from Masha to Aguda, infact pple leaving in that axis have been locked out. Some pple will come here and tell us Fashola and Apc are the best thing that has happened to Nigeria. Nonsense. |

What is the population of Urhobo pple in Delta state? The delta Igbos, itsekiri and the Ijaws will give GEJ what he needs in that state. Delta state is not the birth right of the Urhobos. It is the time of the Igbos and nobody can stop that. |

Politics › Re: Why Did Buhari Sentence Fela Kuti To 10 Years In Prison? by komek(m): 7:32pm On Nov 10, 2014 |
barcanista: When General Muhammadu Buhari came to power, there was wide corruption in the Second Republic. A decree was passed that nobody take out or bring in foreign currency into the country. Offenders are liable to 10years in Jail. This decree was to curb money laundering by politicians and corrupt businessmen.
FELA KUTI Fela had performed abroad, he was paid in foreign currency in cash and had it on him on his return to Lagos. He was subsequently arrested for breaking the law and was prosecuted, found guilty and jailed.
PLEA: There was a plea by human right groups to Head of State Buhari to "pardon" Fela, he refused because he believe that the law be served to the letter.
THE OFFENSE, GMB AND FELA: First, there was an existing law/decree.
Secondly, Fela bringing in cash means it contradicts the law/decree, however, the money is from hard work. Morally, he's justified! Legally, he is not.
Buhari had refused to grant pardon, because the law was broken. If he grants pardon, some section of politicians will accuse him of preferential treatment. He didn't because he believes in absolute discipline. By law, he is justified. Morally, he is not, considering that it was Fela's sweat(my opinion). The law does not work with emotion unfortunately.
MY OPINION: GMB should have pardoned Fela. The law should have made for exception. Buhari should have tampered justice with mercy Did they hack this moniker? |

bebe2: Dats naija for u.
U might think health is wealth, but not in Nigeria. If two pple don manage buy jeep dat means the whole country is wealthy.
Dat was wat killed my cousin's bf. He collapsed at work and went into a diabetic coma, he was rushed to specialist hospital in Benin and the immediately fixed a drip for him. With 4hrs he was dead . They later discovered he was given insulin overdose which killed him.
No enquiry was done, no questions asked, no compensation . This is the singular reason i dont like going to the hospital. Because most hospital workers are supposed to be carpenters and bricklayers. |

Even some educated ones have been brainwashed just as we see on nairaland. I was chatting up with a friend why he wants to vote for Jonathan again and all he could tell me is that he is his brother. I asked him what his so called brother has done for him since he is still jobless,he didn't say anything.
Just like nonnybb said and I quote "I will rather remain poor supporting PDP than vote for APC". berem: Jonathan is a branded failure. Ngwakwe: GEJ and PEJ is a family name and don't have anything to do with Nigerian Government.
If you have issues with President Jonathan and his Administration then address him as such. Patience Jonathan's problems are her husband's headache as she wasn't elected or is she seeking re-election.
What baffles me most is that the same people shouting Jonathan failed policies and PDP's sixteen years of bad governance are beginning to praise Obasanjo and have gone further to start repackaging him as a great revolutionary and a patriot.
The same people have gone to seek a failed PDP Administrator's approval and consent to support their attempt to grab power.
If you are not conversant with Nigerian Politics and just depended on social and electronic media for the past six months, you may think Goodluck is PDP and PDP is Jonathan since 1998.
What can I say more than to behold an unprecedented double standard in Nigeria politics.
I will always plead with and remind all open minded and independent Nigerians to avoid all those people trying to repackage a Coup plotter, Sharia Advocate, Human Right abuser, a despot and an embodiment of zero experience in Democratic governance as a substitute and a messiah.
Goodluck Jonathan has his fault but not a failure rather he encourages Democracy, build institution and civil liberties, he doesn't favour one region at the expense of another in any shape or form. He believes in one Nigeria and the right of all to share from the national cake which Buhari in his life and next reincarnation won't adopt.
Nigerians deserve better than Goodluck Jonathan's presidency but won't be intimidated to settle for less. U Just said my mind and u made it clear where I belong in the Nigerian politics. When a wise man with vision speaks, he inputs wisdom into the mind of those who are ready to learn. Well said. Thank u |

Travel › Re: Have You Ever Missed A Flight? by komek(m): 10:36am On Nov 05, 2014 |
I have missed my flight out of carelessness. I got to MM2 as early as possible. I started reading a book I came with. There is this airline that starts with letter "A" they are known for moving their flight timing. I was there when the first, second and third timing was moved. Each time they announce anything, I will rush to the counter to ask what exactly the announcer was saying. On this particular day my sense of understanding English failed me. By the time they announced our boarding I did not hear. I was so into the book I was reading. It was not funny cos I was suppose to be at my destination the previous day, but because I believed I wud fly in very early the nxt day, I did not bother that much. |

barcanista: 3. "MUSLIM VOTE MUSLIM" What They Tell You: They tell you that Buhari asked Muslims to vote "only" true Muslims in 2003 polls.
What They Won't Tell You:
They won't tell you that President Jonathan went to Redeemed Church in 2011 to seek Christian endorsement, and was "prayed" for and endorsed by Pastor E A Adeboye on behalf of RCCG Christians
They won't tell you that Christian Association of Nigeria instructed "believers" to vote Christian candidate Jonathan in 2011.
They won't tell you that CÀN have become a defacto mouthpiece of Jonathan.
They won't tell you that General Muhammadu Buhari never appointed the National Supreme Council on Islamic Affairs by proxy or any guise while he was in power for 20 Months like we see today between GEJ and CAN
WHAT ELSE? They won't tell you that Buhari crushed the islamic fundamentalist maitatsine insurgency within few months when he was in power.
They won't tell you that GMB cleared our debt within few days of coming to power.
They won't tell you that the economy was improved to a significant proportion and indiscipline was quelled under his watch.
WHY ARE THEY AFRAID OF BUHARI? According to Obasanjo, the PDP is afraid of going to jail(for corruption) should Buhari get elected.
VOTE General Muhammadu Buhari For President 2015. VOTE APC 2015 I don't have any issue with GMB, but for the singular fact that he ousted a democratically elected president, Buhari will never rule this country even with his other positive antecedents |
