mostob:Your bigoted hypocritical and filled with double standard. Akpoguma rejected Nigeria publicly several times after requests were made to him, his Father casting aspersions on Nigeria in the process. But we still invited him well Rohr did If you compare quality and pedigree Akpoguma is not on the same level as Fikayo Tomori but actually well below. Actually there is no current CB in Nigeria that is on the same level as Fikayo Tomori to date. If Tomori agrees to play for Nigeria we should give him commendations and welcome him with open arms unreservedly. |
It's quite remarkable that two Nigerian players sit in the top three highest goal scorers in Seria A. V.O. and Ademola Lookman, thats never happened before. Very quietly and silently Ademola is ripping this Seria A league in a not so high profile team. But nobody really calls him monster beast player , terminator ,etc. |
Meliforme:God helps those who help themselves and walk in Faith. 7 years of vagabond journey man across Europe Nwakali has ended up in a bankruptcy club in the relegation zone of the poorly Segunda division. Team got flogged by a Guadalajara from the Tercera Federación, this is the fifth tier of Spanish football essentially amateurs and semi professionals. That's like a non league club flogging a championship club. And some Super delusional call him Midfielder maestro and have the crazy audacity to make comparison with Eze. A reminder who Eze is below he keeps improving never remaining be stagnant. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dgl2KyZna1I |
BannedLarge:Thank you |
charlesemeka85:Lazy by comparison a big yes but clumsy a big NO. In addition in my opinion Gallagher is far more consistent, he will not drop below a certain standard and his commitment unwavering. You are by always sure of a top draw performance by Gallagher. Deviation, Ivan Toney rejected by England and then he scores two against Manchester city and essentially an tells Southgate to shut his stupid big mouth up. No league like the EPL anybody can beat anybody at any time . |
TheGoodJoe:Let's try , highest paid players in the national League are on £4k a week, there are some on £7k a week. Admittedly these are exceptions. So your assertion you cannot in any way shape or form compare the two league. I've made it clear the majority of the teams in the Segundo division will struggle in league Two And on average most in the lower percentile of the Segundo will fall into the national League. I have already gone into depth about the quality of players. I will reiterate Wolves U21 played Villarreal B and got narrowly beaten 2-1. I watched a few weeks ago maybe more Liverpool FC U21 flog Wolves U21, 5-0. I then said that no U21 EPL side can beat a league one team , and predicted that Liverpool FC U21 would he beaten in the cup by Accrington Stanley, well they did get beat 3-2. I watched Sheffield Wednesday hold Southampton to a 2-2 draw and loose on penalties, actually it was forgotten man ♂️ Dominic Iorfa who lost the crucial penalty. Sheffield Wednesday are in league one and Dominic Iorfa is on £10k a week. He is not the highest paid player. Watched Sheffield Wednesday get beat on penalties by Southampton after a draw in a cup game. They are not on the same level as Southampton but they held their own. What do you think would happen to Ponferradina FC if they played Southampton FC or that's unfair Maybe they should play the U21❓ |
yinkeys:Harry M, is the coach favourite and he is white, he should not really be in the team . Unfortunately England has several options in Defence nonetheless you cannot get away from Racial bias. In addition it's widely believed that Seria A is not as competitive as the EPL. And unless you are doing it in EPL you may be over looked. Add to that Racial bias. Because I don't see how you can take Harry Maguire, Ben White and Conor Coady over Fikayo Tomori, It doesn't add up for me. The only CB with pace is Walker the rest are going to get whipped by fast and tricky forward players. Tyrone Mings, Fikayo Tomori and Marc Guehi, Chris Smallings are black and they are all better than out of form and slow Harry Maguire, Ben White ,Eric Dia and Arguably Stones. Surprised to see Luke Shaw as LB he has not been outstanding, I don't think he is better than Ryan Ssegnon of Tottenham. Can't say argue about the forward player selection, but feel there should have been room for Ivan Toney, Jack Grealish, Maddison are not better than him including Callum Wilson. The midfield is open to many questions and options and Henderson has experience and a calming influence, l think Kalvin Philips coming back from injury and no form could be a risk. Tega , Calvert Lewin, Ollie Watkins are not in form and have not performed, they should not be going. |
AndSunGorilla:Actually the work rate of Gallagher is phenomenal and when it comes to defensive play , think Gallagher shades Eze. That work rate may see Gallagher creating more attacking opportunities. Although there is racial bias ,I still think Gallagher gives you more options in my opinion. |
Danielnino00:Very simple unconscious bias and conscious preference in general a non offensive and politically palatable term for RACISM. Racism is endemic, long standing historical yet continuous and ingrained INSTITUTIONAL. This is what happens for black people in every endeavour across the UK without FAIL. I could give you a thousand plus instance's I know as well as personal examples. Welcome to WONDERFUL life in the UK. |
TheGoodJoe:Once again your trying to compare the incomparable. You are so irrational and sentiment based it beggars belief. You are trying to justify what CANNOT be justified. From the moment Jamie Vardy left Sheffield Wednesday academy at 16 years of age. Then went to Non league to fight his way up , he has been on a continuous upward progression. Culminating him joining Liecester City from non- league the rest as they say is history . From the time Nwakali has left the U17 National youth team. He has been on a consistent continuous downward spiral there has been no PROGRESSION after 7 years. He has gone through countless rejections and indignities , rejected by Arsenal, not considered good enough for Eredivise, Eerste Divisie, couldn't even get into Porto B, rejected at Huesca and contract prematurely terminated, now in a relegation bankruptcy struggling team in poor quality Segunda division. Football is short term career Dude has had numerous almost too many opportunities but has always FAILED to impress. You CANNOT turn daylight into darkness with your misrepresentations. |
TheGoodJoe:When a player signs for a Championship side straight from non- league for a fee that with add-ons reaching close to £2milion . A fee that matched his pedigree as the best striker in non- league. Anybody seeing his performances would know he was going to make it big. At that time he was like Hussain Bolt, the fastest player white English player anybody had seen. Everybody knew he was going to make it, including the birds in the sky. Just didn't know he would be a top EPL goal scorer and win the Premier league title with then lowly Leicester city. I am talking substantive facts and objectivity and you are talking irrational emotive assumption. You can not in any way , shape or form compare Nwakali and Vardy career. It's like comparing darkness to light. Non- league is on my opinion one of the most difficult League to come out of. The football is blood and guts kick rush and dye. If you don't get your leg broken you count yourself blessed. It's very difficult to play technical on the deck quality football. But you f your do and or can, you will stand out. The pitches are atrocious U no go he hearword. |
TheGoodJoe:When I say your emotive and entirely sentiment based with a huge dose of unbridled favouritism. You have ⚓ anchored your comparison proposition on wind and fresh air, it's nonsensical. Jamie Vardy was released by Sheffield Wednesday at 16. He had no pedigree ,he had to start from the bottom in non- league football and fight his way out of non league with consistent outstanding exceptional performance. He went from non league to Championship with a transfer fee of £1 million, a record at that time. To date he has been a consistent outstanding exceptional performers over a decade ,10 years plus in the EPL and counting. There is no comparison between the career trajectory of Vardy and Nwakali. One has been moving upwards and breaking record's. Nwakali has been consistently underperforming since he left youth football. He got his contract prematurely terminated , why because he was so Good ❓ He is in a low quality league where his relegation bankruptcy team will struggle in English League two. He has found his level in mediocrity league. Bu the way I said that Sadiq Umar was very poor and would not survive in English League one. An opinion held by management as well as fans. |
TheGoodJoe:Time waits for no MAN. Express wan leave you , infact he has been left out and left behind.. And you are saying he should take his time, Dude is not a youth player. |
Amedino99:So you think his performanced over the past 5 seasons in Leicester have been outstandingly excellent ❓❓ |
andrewbaba44:This should not be news to anyone in Sub Saharan Africa. I remember Mbappe wanted to play for Cameroon and they asked for Egunje. Most players don't make public the demands of our NFF that is required for them to play and continuously play. I am baffled how Shehu an ancestor with nothing to show gets into the team. |
Amedino99:Yes he will . Robertson and Maguire were outstanding defenders in their respective clubs. Ramsdale an outstanding goalkeeper. It's quite common in relegation zone clubs for defenders and goalkeepers to get a lot of notice. Because they spend the whole season defending and trying to stay up. As a result they usually have stats . Why not tell me a premier League forward player that has played near 180 games and scored only 38 goals and even lesser number of assists in the EPL. That will be on £100K a week or thereabouts that any club will pay 25% of his wage bill to get him in their team. He will have to drop his wage expectations massively and then he might get a club. Nobody will pay him his current wages , he has to see his contract out thats his best option career wise. Jordan Ayew plays as a winger and brings a lot more than just goal scoring. KC is very one dimensional and cannot play wing to save his life. |
AndSunGorilla:One comes to mind immediately Nathan Tella on loan from Southampton to Burnley. He plays more of a inverted winger but has played RB and right sided Midfield mostly. |
yinkeys:Tega has done nothing this season huffed and puffed but not blown anybody away. Until he starts scoring goals he is out of the England be squad. That's the right way to do things no sentiment or past history, it's HERE and NOW. |
Amedino99:Leicester is in a deep romance with relegation with only 3 points away from the bottom. They are bottom of the league club for now. So which mid table EPL club will collect an impotent striker for the past 5 seasons largely. |
AndSunGorilla:Osaze Urhoghide broke through into the Sheffield Wednesday team had a few games over two seasons when they were in the Championship. Got sold to Celtic but don't think he played any games for them, not good enough. He then went on loan to Brugge. We have better options. |
zoboizee:I remember him when he played as a R winger at Blackpool and then went on to QPR . I was surprised how he allowed the low tax money in Turkish league to prise him away from offers in the EPL. |
AndSunGorilla: "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride" |
fabyom:So there are no young players doing well as RB in the whole of Europe that we invite an ancestor playing in Bulgarian league rated close to 30 in Europe. We should be looking at promising young players not retired ones. |
elyte89:How can Shehu make that list ,there is something dramatically wrong with our NFF. |
AndSunGorilla:Stats have to be seen in context of the quality you are playing against. Segundo division is poor, Villarreal B essentially the team is number 13 in the league . This is a team that narrowly beat Wolves U21 2-1 not too long ago. No EPL U21 team can beat a Championship team. Liverpool U21 played Wolves and beat them 5-0. Thats a big gulf. Liverpool U21 were beaten 3-2 by Accrington Stanley in English League one. No U21 EPL side has managed to beat a league one side. The larger majority of EPL U21 sides will get flogged by league two and some non league teams. Thats the context. In this regard stats have to be looked upon in the context of the quality of players and teams. Would you then say because someone has extraordinary outstanding stats in the NPFL they should be drafted into the SE. ❓I very much doubt . Players go from Academy football to top teams both in the championship and EPL U21. Rhian Brewster from Liverpool FC to Sheffield United for £23milon. Chukwuemeka Carney from Villa to Chelsea at 18 years old to Chelsea. Harvey Elliott from Fulham to Liverpool FC. Ponferradina FC is in the relegation zone if a team is performing the players take the accolades for performing. When a team is failing so also do the players take the blame. Ponferradina FC has played 15 games and only been able to win 4 thats very poor. They look like candidates for relegation. And you want to say in that set up Nwakali is a baller. Be realistic and stop jumping on the over hype bandwagon. |
codemaniacs:What is he doing good , he has been rejected with terminated contractd in every club he had been until he found a place in Segundo division with the almost bankrupt Ponferradina FC. The team has played 15 games and had won only 5 games they are in the relegation zone going down. What is he doing so good that his team have only been able to win 5 games out of 15. Nwakali struggled to get into Porto B and Huesca tried to terminate his contract early and get rid of him. Why because he was too good. Incidentally Huesca are number 7 in the league and Ponferradina is s 18. Nwakali has found his level after near 8 years in Europe. |
AndSunGorilla:But in all these cases they were outstanding in the league. Nunez was a teenage prodigy that had not played a season of first team football in his home country Uruguay. Comes to the moi moi Segunda division as essentially a youth players and is joint 4th in first season. The rest is history. Sadiq had played 7 seasons of football in Europe and found the Segunda division the perfect anchorage to move forward with limited quality. Nwakali is not outstanding in the league, some people here give him accolades the minute he wears his team jersey. He is just making up numbers and hasvbeen for the past seven years in Europe. |
AndSunGorilla:Nwakali is not good enough. His league is largely on the level of league one or lower. If he is doing good it's because the league is poor. |
mostob:Tell me one or remain SILENT. |
Meliforme:If he wants regular football guaranteed he should just come to Warri Wolves. No worries he will be a regular |
Meliforme:Omeruo and Awaziem are like expired drugs and if not expired there are far better and more improved drugs that render them obsolete. And yes Calvin is far better than them all. |
Philosopher1979:That works for their outstanding players not those not rated by the manager. Then even if it were possible, who will he bench realistically speaking. |
