humility33:How old is Ronaldo, Ibrahimavich, Dzeko, Benzema, Modric etc, etc. Youth is not the sole component for quality. |
Joezinho:It says something about the core values and practices of the NFF. Left to them Salisu would have never have been indicted. |
Danielnino00:Was he not at Derby County and left with the club at the bottom of the Championship. I would not say he has Great pedigree although he did ok at PSV. |
timay1:It really depends what is on his lowly contract with Huesca. I suspect they gayve enough clauses to protect themselves and will not be in a position of disadvantage. When the midfield maestro signed that contract he was probably on his knees, begging for a contract figuratively speaking and will have been willing to sign anything. That means it will be a take it or leave it situation. Contract Terms will not be to his advantage. He couldn't even hold down a place in Porto B and was in free fall. Huesca were doing him a favour, they did not rate him enough and sent him on loan almost immediately to a lower Segunda club side. |
Moneydoll:You would expect a certain degree of knowledge based reporting from the Vanguard, but no, what we have is crass ignorance and possible misrepresentation of facts. The term armoured tank in itself is ambiguous and creates confusion. You can't take control of a MBT and set it in fire with AK-47 and or rudimentary light weapon it's simply IMPOSSIBLE. If you have a properly armed MRAP the same follows you can't take it over with light weapons. The unknown but highly misguided gun men are just that men with guns. They don't have ATGM's , or any other similar to weaponry. My suspicion is what they seized and destroyed was a LAM Lightly armoured vehicle, without the expected standard weaponry . Which would probably be the Otokar Cobra or more recent KIA light armoured vehicle and the Isotrex Phantom. An armoured vehicle without the right commensurate precision weaponry is just a big tin box i.e. a toothless dog. Below a MBT ( Main Battle Tank) and a Isotrex Phantom 2.( light armoured vehicle)

charlesemeka85:Couple of questions. Did Ikpeba say something that was untrue, was his criticism without merit was it unfounded. Humility is the pathway to greatness not pride and obstinacy , they are actually the opposite. |
Joezinho:Clubs very wisely put certain clauses in contracts to create a get out option if a player becomes liability. |
comodo:Since he left U17 he has done nothing of substance. Multiple opportunities but unable to make the grade. It's like when a student keeps failing he blames the teacher in all the schools he has been too. |
Hanibal:I have not read it. Why not post it here and then tell me why I should believe it ❓ |
TFLASHOGEE:Who is we ❓ Too many of you get gassed about youth football exploits and anchor ⚓ your concept of quality on mere and inconsistent youth potential. Since Nwakali left youth football in 2015 he done nothing and you are still talking about potential. Potential has a shelf Life. |
BascoVanVeli:You are changing the goal posts. We are talking about Nwakali the exceptional midfield maestro to many here. And the context is his poor performance which is reflected in his very poor wage ,second to the last lowest paid player in Huesca. What does lssac Success contract have to do with the discussion it's completely irrelevant. |
TheSuperNerdpost =111683589:TheSuperDelusional trying to turn black to white . You should hide your befuddled mind in shame but no you must have to justify the unjustifiable with your befuddled viewpoint. I leave you to argue with yourself. |
BascoVanVeli:Everything in context. When you are the lowest paid person in a football club and you are getting barely €3k, it tells you how much they value you. Before the season has ended they tried to offload him without success for essentially peanuts €80k but nobody wanted him even for next to NOTHING. One the opportunity arose, before the season has ended they have terminated his contract. What does that tell you❓ Add to that they tried to illegally terminate his contract before the player's union got involved. They have now terminated the contract most likely using a clause in the contract that allows them to terminate before the season. What's the relevance of Isaac Success, to this discussion. Issac success was overweight , Indisciplined and a complete waste man in the EPL. Whether he earned 20k or 3k it is of no relevance. |
harqinhola:That's an assumption based on emotive preference not proven. Go to Benin City, Edo state and ask the driver's why 80% of taxi are Audi and Volkswagen. Reliability, fuel economy and resilience finally most parts are OEM unlike Toyota where 90% of parts care cheap copies from all over the globe including Aba. |
TheSuperNerd:Maybe your concluding comments where in Spanish . Gracias a Dios que finalmente deja estas cucarachas. Es hora de reanudar en otro lugar. Misinformation personified. |
Jargozaza:Do you know there are many individual top clubs that have produced more from thier football academies than what a whole national tournament has produced. Having a tournament doesn't create quality it's the coaching and facilities allocated to youth football players that does that for you. Then you take the players to international tournaments like the Santander La Liga Promise U13. Then you can make comparisons and see how you are progressing. |
TheSuperNerd:You are misrepresentating the FACTS as usual. He did not leave Huesca his contract was Terminated and he was let go because they simply don't think he is good enough. In reality they wanted to get rid of him much sooner, but nobody in the Segundo wanted him ,so Huesca were stuck with him. Consider how desperate Huesca was, season has not even ended and he has been kicked out of the club unceremoniously. He was the second to the last lowest in paid player in the club. |
mostob:Would you like to place a bet against me and whoever wins donates the proceedings to a charity chosen by the majority hear. I will bet you that in this transfer window Kalvin, Declan and Jude will move to bigger clubs for way more money than Ndidi. I actually doubt if any serious bid will be made for Ndidi this summer. A reflection of your performance is in the amount of money and interest that is generated by top clubs wanting to buy you . |
forgiveness:Look at Ndidi statistics in the seasons 2019/20 and 2020/21 they are not the same albeit stats are indicative but there is now regression. In addition Ndidi in recent times he is not expected to just be a one dimensional Defensive Midfielder, he is expected to contribute more. Look at Youri Tielemans why is he in the to buy list of so many top clubs. Look at the interest that Kalvin Philips, Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham are generating . There was a time Ndidi was wanted by several top clubs but in the current times that's no longer the case. I wonder WHY ❓ |
Barryseal:You are blinded by deep seated prejudice and bigotry garnished with crass ignorance. Look at the bold, how did you arrive at that conclusion ❓❓❓ How many players of Nigerian origin in England and or Europe do you know To come to that conclusion. Finally, I've met Eto and spoken with him when he was at Everton. And that's not his mindsets it's yours. |
andrewbaba44:I gave you just four Midfielders Kalvin Philips, Declan, Jude and Henderson. Jude is versatile and plays a multiple roles in midfield including the Defensive holding Midfielder role. He isn't pigeonholed into just one position a measure of his quality. Ndidi will not currently make the England team. You have made a wide general statement that all English midfielders are bang average. And if that's the case what are our Midfielder world class. |
mostob:You are miserably prejudiced and bigoted. What amount of energy is invested in getting Nigerian origin players in Europe to play for the SE. Please tell us, you seem to know. When Ghana wanted Hudson-Odio to play for them, the President gave him audience in addition the creme de la crème of the entertainment industry engaged with him, inviting him to multiple events including to thier houses. Making him feel very welcome. The best quality and consistent players are the foundation of any team. Not the place of birth. The people looting, raping and destroying our nation where not born in Europe but in Nigeria. The only political appointee to resign from office from a completely false and CONTRIVED allegations in Nigeria was born in London. I am talking of the former minister of Finance. The reality is we invest little or nothing in approaching Nigerian origin players. If anything NFF officials even ask some of them for inducement, I am taking from first hand information not hearsay. England football clubs invest 100 of £millions in young players to create the next generation of world class footballers. What is Nigeria investing in❓ Commitment is not measured by your misguided subjectively biased units of measurement. |
forgiveness:No he will not. With respect he is not better and or more consistent than Declan Rice, Kalvin Philips and Jude Bellingham to mention just a few. I will not mention a possibly older Henderson at Liverpool FC. |
zuchyblink:Amokachi unfortunately is part off the rot and decay that corruption has caused the NFF to be where it is today. Let's start with England. Not one of the current players in the SE are going to make the bench, that's the reality. So what's exactly your point, calling quality players left overs because of they didn't make the English team. Then to add insult to injury garnished with blatant prejudice you call them Mediocre. Then in the same vein you will call KC one the best finishers in world. You are highly misguided. |
JohnBullMySon:Shameless bigoted double standard prejudice by quite a few here. They label them FB and l will say there is a certain degree of dislike, but why I am not sure. |
BascoVanVeli:I remember them when they were in Everton Academy quite a few years ago. It could be said they were given access on account of Amokachi. They were released Everton, just not good enough to be diplomatic. He has tried to open many doors for them but they have never been able to rise to the occasion. Not surprisingly they are playing Local football. |
andrewbaba44:I don't enthrone mediocrity and don't praise sing when there is nothing to praise. But I do give Measured and objective commendation when due. My comments given according to you " with my head in shame"
|
JohnBullMySon:Can you explain to everybody how someone can be a good finisher but after 20 games has scored just three goals in the EPL. Please |
andrewbaba44:Your talking balderdash and codswallop as usual. We are talking if this season that's coming to an end not last season or the season he scored one goal after 30+ games in the EPL. In football it's always present continuous. |
andrewbaba44:Agreed without question. There is a preoccupation with former national youth player's and giving them almost automatic access to the SE. We don't look at current outstanding consistent performance in club and league as the ⚓ anchor for any call up. |
JUMO95:Thats your perception of Western based norms and values. And it's not universal across the West. It's really a question of perspective. Because for instance look at Europe the UK is very much different from France. Almost every French president has a had a mistress and the cincept of mistress / concubine has muted acceptance in France but not so in the UK . I have not brought any Christian and or Islamic perspective because your approach is clearly not religious. Probably birthed from ignorance unfortunately. |
politicoNG:The caption is VERY WRONG and MISLEADING you use the term HEAVILY ARMED. Hundreds of policeman armed with antiquated AK-47 is not heavily armed but LIGHTLY ARMEDY please. |

To come to that conclusion.
