andrewbaba44:Please stop acting like you are not educated , this is not difficult for you to do please. Address my assertion with methodology , examine critically discount my position with facts and rational. Please raise the level of discourse dont just make noise. Actually Mane gets considerably more of than Odoi, l assure you with all the performance related clauses. I don't need to say more. Porto have a business model buy them cheap sell them high and place huge transfer clauses on their contracts. This happens a lot with African players in Portugal. I no longer have much dealing with Portugal. Them say " Na money deh kill beta Soup" Now please be rational and a gentleman. |
zicky:Vardy was the highest goal scorer in the EPL for Leicester last season with 15 goals. I tend to lean to only EPL where the quality of opposition is of s particular standard. As opposed to cup games where you may play weakened teams by selection and or very low league teams. This gives a skewed view of a player ability. From 2017 season to 2019 KC played 71 game's and scored 9 goals. Dennis has not completed his first season in the EPL and has already scored 9.
|
kingphilip:Food for thought The best striker in the Eredivisie couldn't get more than 7 Goals in the EPL, his last season he had 3 goals in the EPL. The best strikers in the Championship last season are in the EPL and have Toney 11 and 7 Pukki goals already with about 10 games left in the EPL. The best striker in Villa Real, is Arnaud Danjuma left the Championship he is on 8 goals from 18 games. He wasn't the best striker in the Championship. Villarreal paid £25 million for him. Look at the top 10 strikers in the Eredivisie and tell me one who is better than Mitrovich. Because Haller is definitely not. Another look at transfer fees for player's from this Championship that you look down at with disdain. Ollie Watkins cost Villa £30 million from Brentford and Benrahma to West Ham about £20 million. That's just one club. To make it easier for you see the list below. Open your mind and do an objective. La Liga is a top leagues but with huge disparities between clubs. So in the past two decades the league had essentially been Real, Barca and Athleti However for teams from mid table and below they would not dominate the Championship in my opinion.

Samueltemi337:I don't know any left back in the EPL that earns £6k a week . Even in the Championship that will be a struggle possibly the bottom teams. What you earn in football has a relationship with your quality. |
Karlovych:Our player's in the current team a good number are from Turkey, Cyprus, S.Africa, Bundesliga 2, Segundo division. Where did our arguably best Midfielder come from Aribo is it not league one essentially. So you are calling the SE a circus or your being bigoted with double standard. |
maidaboi:Bissouma is simply better . |
kellycute:KC was not the highest goal scorer in the EPL for Leicester last season. Jamie Vardy had 15 goals in the EPL last season . Who is the LIAR now ❓ |
kingphilip:The same way Aribo came from league one into the SE. Or your go back further Dele Alli from league one to Tottenham and England. |
Danielnino00:Klopp is absolutely keyed into work rate, this is something the football analysts make report's on continuously. Can we do more is the question. I am know a youth player under 18 , ABSOLUTELY outstanding , skilful, dominant and technically astute. He doesn't have to do too much at U23, U19 etc to dominate and as a result his work rate can be suspect. But it's not noticed at youth level AT ALL. However, he goes to first team training and it becomes exposed and a lesser player get into the first team because he works relentlessly although he is not as good. That youth player is Tyler Morton. |
andrewbaba44:Go and ask Neymar, Mbappe, Lukaku, etc ❓❓ There is a direct and incontrovertible relationship between what a player earns his unique skill set and his attributes . To get those unique attributes that will bring competitive advantage in the game for the club ,they the club are willing to pay and what they pay is a reflection of the value placed on your attributes. What your are saying is balderdash. |
Danielnino00:It's unfortunate that Championship teams dont get to play in Europe unless they win the FA Cup . Otherwise I believe Fulham have a good chance of beating Porto. Stop being sentimental and emotive. Objectively speaking give me two forward player in Porto that are better than Ryan Kent and Mitrovich in Fulham. Assesss and appraise in a quasi balance score card methodology. Add to that the entire defence of Porto Vs Fulham. Please don't just say they are better appraise with specifics don't be ASSUMPTIVE be objective. And if you open your mind you will begin to see a different perspective. |
andrewbaba44:You are changing the narrative and talking without any substance. We talked specifically about Zaidu and the left back position. And specifically Zaidu is not better than Antonee "Jedi" Robinson. I substantiated my opinion with facts to anchor ⚓ my deduction upon. I went on further to say AGAIN specifically that no of the forward players in Porto are better than Mitrovich. I beciuld add Ryan Kent, Bobby and Kebano and Fabio Carvalho. You mentioned Liverpool FC as your benchmark with regards to player quality. Carvalho has signed pre- contract he will be a Liverpool player next season, teenager Harvey Elliott left Fulham and is a Liverpool player now. Does that make all Fulham player's EPL quality not exactly although they will all be in the EPL next season. The current right back for Fulham Neco Williams has 17 caps for Wales and is a Liverpool FC player. Pepe the highest paid player in Porto at £48k , is about 40 years old and slow, not physically dominating he will not get into Fulham team. Finally, Zaidu earns £6k a week in Porto Antonee is on £60k a week that's 10 times higher. Look at the bold, players signed by AC Milan and he has no reason to leave Fulham they are back in the EPL add to that he is contracted Fulham will not sell. Tell me one of the Porto Midfielder that's better than Anguissa ❓ Why can your not have a substansive based discourse everything you have said is just emotive preference based on self birthed assumption. Contend with me on facts and substance not arrant noise making please.
|
chrisooblog:First of all you are too rigid in your perceptions which are not knowledge based but emotive preference. You assume that Porto is a bigger and Superior club than Fulham. And therefore condescending to say Zaidu will not get into Fulham. That's why a gave an appraisal of the current left back in comparison to Zaidu. Getting a move from the Championship to the top three league in Europe is quite common. That in itself gives you an Idea of the quality. Teremi, Evanilson Martinez and Vierra are Porto forward players they are not as good as Fulham's this is very plane to see. None of them can touch the boots of Mitrovich. What you must understand, it's quite common for players to leave first tier leagues to play in the second tier English Championship. At the end of the day players will mostly choose money over assumed prestige of the league. If you look at the wages Porto pays it's players it can not compete with Fulham. Imagine the highest paid player is a near retired Pepe from Real Madrid on £48k a week. Let's get back to the main subject which was would Zaidu get into the Fulham team and the answer is no. He is not good enough apart from being technically poor. Zaidu would probably jump at the chance to play for Fulham. Finally ,Money £££$$$$€€€ "TALKS" and football players WALK. Antonee "Jedi" earns 10 times more than what Zaidu earns each week . By the way Tosin Adarabioyo is better than Maguire IMO. |
semid4lyfe:. If this is truly what Eguavon has said then we are in for "long Ting" these word imply person lackiing in capacity. Ghana have Chris Houghton on the team expect a well though out strategy and strategic plan. Eguavon better wake up from his Nostalgic dream and get with current times. |
zicky:KC cannot be on the same page Ighalo, Osaze and Yakubu. Dennis has scored more goals in one season than KC scored in the EPL in three seasons. Dennis has not needed three seasons of Mediocrity to wake up and be counted. KC has gone back to his former mediocre self so far 2 goals this season . |
JayromWrites:He is unfortunately just average, not outstanding in any way he has scored 6 Goals in the Championship. Elijah Adebayo is way better than him who has 13 goals in the Championship for Luton Town. I would say Afolayan, Ladapo and Udoh all with over 10 goals in league one are better than him. |
andrewbaba44:Actually he will not , The current left back is Antonee Robinson, in 2020 a £10 million transfer to AC Milan failed to Materialize on account of irregular heart rhythm on his medical. When he played for Wigan athletic in the Championship. He is a USA international with 22+ caps, as you know USA is ranked 13 and Nigeria 32 by FIFA. In my opinion he is considerably better than Zaidu. It's on that basis I say he is not good enough to get into the Fulham team. |
COOL10:Since we are not speaking verbally then the tone you refer to is your perception. However, l don't know what kind of tone you refer to. ❓❓ |
Stormtrooper11:Outside of Ajax , I rate the championship either on par or better. |
andrewbaba44:Although Anguissa is supposedly a DM his offensive contribution is suspect. After 61 games not even one goal for Fulham. Even the assists are not outstanding. However, he has a way of driving his team forward and therein is one of his main attributes. Fulham fans podcast doesn't rate him highly. I did not say Ndidi is better than Douglas Luiz or vice versa. However, I did say he plays for Brazil and is getting a lot more transfer attention from clubs than Ndidi at the moment , WHY ❓ Ndidi did not get any offers direct to the club that Leicester rejected. On the other hand Aston Villa rejected a £30 million bid for Douglas Luiz. Usually the market is an indicator of how well you are doing.
|
COOL10:You have limited understanding ,less knowledge and no experience. Statistics do not tell you the nature of the unit of measurement. In this regards not all assists, goals , blocks, interceptions, tackles are of the same quality. This is why a report , sometimes very comprehensive is made about a player by both scouts and analysts which will include watching player's live. Then the question will be asked can the players attributes and unique skill sets converged and be advantageous to the team. Every team and Manager will have his own requirements. So my uninformed friend, statistics are just indicative not conclusive. |
13large:My goodness see analysis. I doubt if Zaidu will get into any EPL club. Ndidi has not been outstanding this season he is a very long way from world class. Victor O, plays with fiery rage and Aggression I have not seen in any player. He is truly relentless in his pursuit of the goal. He is not the best technically speaking and his goal tally is not outstanding. However, in a different team that plays him as a True no 9 , he will score goals a lot more I think. But he is till very far off world class. I |
COOL10:There is a reason why he is on the Bench. Goals per minute ratios and games are indicative and not conclusive. There is no mathematical formula that says if you get more game time you must score more goals. He once played 90 minutes and didn't score. It seems his team see him as an impact substitute, who comes on when the game is in its last quarter. At a stage when players are getting tired and fatigued, this is the most probable and easier time to score. It is a well established fact that in the EPL more goals are scored in the second half than in the first. |
andrewbaba44:Wijnaldum was simply outstanding in a very uninspiring Newcastle United. The rest is history. Not too long ago many on on this forum were getting all orgasmic about how world class Ndidi was. Using statistics he had the highest number of tackles well at least too three, high number of blocks and interceptions. He was clearly outstanding in club and league. However, fast forward and he is not in any of the charts of or so low down its inconsequential. Although statistics are indicative and not conclusive, we can see evidence of decline. Aston Villa have Douglas Luiz as their current DM he has 9 caps for Brazil. Villa put in a bid of £25milion for Bissouma but it was declined. Villa considered Ndidi but did not put in any bid. I don't know if Anguissa ran away or the feeling was that his performances lacked commensurate end product. And it was felt a loan spell will be more advantageous to both sides. |
27Pushing30:You can impose your imaginary security interests on a sovereign nation. Russian invaded Afghanistan. |
Kastonkastroll:You are very intelligent and wise we can all see him carrying and aiming a M107 Barrett sniper rifle. I guess most CIA agents at age 55 like Pierre Zakrzewski, will be best suited to the battle front.
|
codemaniacs:Lukaku started playing for Anderlecht at 16 and was a top Goal scorers since that time to date the only blip on his career is his current time with Chelsea. KC is a flop since he has been at Leicester he has had one good season. In his entire career he has never been a top goal scorer in his league and club. From 100 games for Belgium Lukaku has scored near 70 goals that is simply PHENOMENAL. We ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HAVE ANYBODY near to the level of Lukaku. You are talking balderdash, codswallop and nonsensical dross. |
andrewbaba44:Fulham got relegated but Ademola Lookman got taken up with Leicester, why ![]() Kalvin Philips team has been poor but he as a player had not been, he is still an outstanding DM playing in a team with most players who have lost thier way. Brighton are lower than Leicester but everybody wants Bissouma , why ![]() If it's not obvious to you Ndidi individually has not been outstanding this Season just like his team. |
codemaniacs:Go and look at all of Awoniyi 12 goals in the Bundesliga this season and compare them to Osimhen 7 goals. And then think who will have greater impact in the SE. |
hammer567:That my learned friend is not war that is GENOCIDE. There is an aspect of this war that Ukraine has not brought in , and we pray it does not. Ukraine has ICBM how many have nuclear warheads we simply don't know. It was assumed they handed them all back to Russia ❓❓❓ Let Russia be very cautious. |
MajorOvakporaye:The myth of the big powerful Russian Bear has been exposed. Russia as a modern day military power is an illusion. Ukraine with its limited resources has been able to resist and overcome the Russian invasion. 3 weeks and Russian has not been able to capture one major city. They have lost over 12,000 soldiers ,tiey have lost more soldiers in three weeks than they lost in decades of war with Afghanistan and in Chechenya. Russian soldiers are deserting, surrendering and or refusing to carry out war crimes by carrying out killings and bombing of innocent civilians. Russian air force planes and helicopters are getting shot down regularly. Over 6 very senior Generals have been killed in action. Russia is now carrying out an indiscriminate bombing, scorched earth policy bombing cities into rubble snd killing civilians, who are the people they came to liberate ❓and from what it's a blatant WAR CRIME. Russia has already lost this war that it cannot win. The Russian economy is already in default they are now begging China for weapons see how the mighty have fallen. Even if China agrees how will they pay ![]() |
codemaniacs:Lukaku case is completely and entirely different. Lukaku is a world class striker and has been exceptionally consistent for the past decade at the top of his game. Last season second highest Goal scorer in Seria A . Had been outstanding for Belgium consistently since his first cap. He goes to Chelsea and it's apparent there is something going very wrong. The German players don't pass the ball to him Havertz the worst culprit. And Tuchel and him are not getting on at all. |
